Auto Park Hotel — Florence

This hotel is near restaurants within walking distance and the bus to carry you into the heart of Florence. Ample and safe parking for cars. The hotel is sufficiently clean, however it smells old and is in need of updating. The beds were hard, but comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. TV did not work and no one could tell me when someone would be available to come & fix it & there was no way that I was going to allow someone to come into the room in my absence. Shower head didn't hold & housekeeping knew that by the way it was leaning against the wall. Good things I travel w/cleaning products cause I was not impressed at all w/the […] smell & cleanliness of the whole hotel. WI-FI signal in lobby only was not strong. I had to dance around quite a bit to get service. When I couldn't bare it anymore, I had to use the guest computer behind the front desk which was just as filthy. Wasn't impressed w/the breakfast either. The only good thing was that I got to cancel the last night of my reservation (which had to be done through Hotel.it which is located in Egypt. The only problem we had was that the person we talked to on the phone had trouble speaking English, so he told us to get onto bus 32 instead of 22, which cost us an extra hour and two wrong bus rides trying to figure out which bus would actually take us to the hotel. ottimo per chi raggiunge Firenze in auto. Hotel dotato di ampio parcheggio e vicino al capolinea dell'autobus.

Beside the problems with AC and refregu. We found out that all around the hotel was full of hookers.

Het hotel is heel slecht onderhouden en verwaarloosd. Geen sfeer, zeer ongezellig. De 2 liften zijn heel klein, smalle deurtjes. De airco in onze kamer deed het niet. We kregen wel snel een andere kamer toegewezen. Ontzettend gehorige hotelkamers en de badkamer is heel klein, de douchekabine 70x70 cm, je kunt niet eens bukken.... Het internet werkte […] ook niet in het hotel, ja morgen zou hij het weer doen, maar de volgende dag werkte het ook niet. Ontbijt was standaard. Voordeel: gratis parkeren, bushalte dichtbij, buslijn 22 naar hartje Florence (ruim 30 min). Buskaartjes te koop bij de receptie van het hotel. Prijs/Kwaliteit: slecht. The hotel is located out of city center.(7-8km) and closed to airport. You have to pay approx. 15€ with taxi if you want to go to center. The rooms are so small, noisy and unconfortable.
