stayed at the hotel for a conference. Very well-located in vicinity of conference centre and tram stop to go to the city centre. The rooms aren't very big, but nicely furnished. Good price for value! Breakfast and internet is included.

The hotel was only ten minutes or so on a tram from the city centre. The buffet breakfast was good, and plentiful. The staff at reception were on the whole very friendly, and helpful. The room was ok, clean and comfortable. Mattress and pillows very good. We were at the front of the hotel, facing the road and train line but even I, as the lightest sleeper […] in the world, had no problem with the noise or vibrations. Air-con functioned well. The 'reception' staff all speak good english and are very friendly and helpful. The one 'wake up' call we requested was exactly 'on time' at 07.30. Free 'WiFi' is available in the lobby area. The 'buffet-style' breakfast, which includes bacon, sausage, and fried eggs, as well as the usual 'continental' breakfast items of boiled eggs, cold meats, cheese, […] bread/toast etc. is available up to 10.00, which is good if you have been 'out late' or just fancy a bit of a 'lie in'. However, don't be surprised if some of the 'offerings' are in shorter supply as 10.00 approaches! The rooms are clean and comfortable, with TV (plus internet access and mini-bar at extra cost). The bathroom was 'spotless' and all the 'plumbing' worked. No problems at all obtaining hot water. There is a lift, but it only goes to a 'half-landing' between each floor so is not suitable for anyone with severe mobility problems who cannot manage just a few stairs. A main railway line runs past at the front of the hotel - our rooms have always been at the rear so I cannot comment on whether there is any noise from the trains in rooms at the front. The hotel is situated on the fringe of the city centre; it is just 2 tram stops into the city area. The nearest tram stop is "Albertov"; the stop for trams towards the city is about 100 metres from the hotel, that for trams from the city area about 200 metres. The trams are very frequent - routes 18 & 24 serve the city, route 7 turns off to run along the river bank before crossing to the opposite side. A regular service operates throughout the night for 'night owls'. Prague's public transport system is really excellent and a very good way to get around. Lots of information available on the internet about ticket types, prices, and how to obtain them. At the time of this visit a 'single' trip from the airport to the hotel by public transport takes about an hour and cost the equivalent of about £1 (Bus #119 airport bus station to "Devlicka", change to tram #20 or 26 Uzziniet vairāk

Its not the Hilton but the Hotel was great value for money, excellent breakfast every morning rooms kept clean and tidy fresh towels every day would recommend this hotel, location was great also

This hotel has many positive attributes. The staff were courteous and helpful. All spoke proficient English. The complimentary breakfast was better than others I had tried while visiting Italy. The rooms are comfortable and clean. My bed was soft, and I enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. In my opinion, the negative aspects of the hotel included the following: 1. […] The hotel is located in a bad area of town, and the nice area (around the Cetro/Prague Castle) is not within walking distance. Taxi cabs are notorious for scamming tourists, so be careful with regard to transportation around the city. We paid three times too much going from the train station to the hotel. I recommend calling the hotel ahead of time and having them secure transportation for you to the hotel. 2. The deadbolts on the door in my room did not work. My friend booked the room next door, and her lock did not work either. We did not have any trouble, but the rooms would be easy to break into. 3. We had the hotel store our luggage in the downstairs armoir while we spent the day in the city. When we returned to the hotel to retrieve our luggage to board the train, no one would answer the front door. We tried for well over 10 minutes. Finally, after ringing the buzzer, banging loudly on the doors, and calling their phone number repeeatly, we were able to get a hold of someone to let us in. We almost missed our train because of it. Anyway, that is my take on this hotel. If I return to Prague, I will probably stay somewhere within walking distance to Prague Castle due to convenience. If you choose this hotel, however, your stay at the hotel should be a pleasant one (if you can get through the front doors). Uzziniet vairāk

This hotel was great value. There were a few things that weren't quite up to standard though. First of all we had booked a superior double room, however, when we arrived at our room it was two singles - upon informing reception of this they told us that there were no superior doubles available until the following night. So we had to spend the first […] night in a standard room. Secondly, once we moved into the correct room we found out that the jacuzzi bath didn't work which was a disappointment but nothing major. Also, there was vacuuming outside our bedroom at about 9a.m aswell as the builders drilling outside the hotel. Generally though we were both very happy with the hotel, the breakfast was good, staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, there was a lidl supermarket across the road and a tram stop opposite which made getting to the centre easy. If I had to book a stay in Prague on a tight budget again I would definately stay here as it was great value for money!!!! Uzziniet vairāk

I picked this hotel from the internet, partly for the price. Myself and my husband were more than surprised with everything. We arrived late at night and were met by a very helpful receptionist. Next day the staff were more than helpful with hints on transport and sights to see. The room was very comfortable and clean with service everyday. We […] would recommend the hotel to friends. Vores ophold på King Charles Hotel var ren fornøjelse. Pænt og rent og tæt på sporvogn og centrum. Okay morgenmad og venligt og hjælpsomt personale.

Hotellet var fint, lidt gammeldags indrettet, flotte badeværelser.Personalet var yderst hjælpsomme, med at vise vej, samt lave fortælle om, hvad der var værd at se, samt at sælge billetter til sporvognen.. Beliggenheden er ikke direkte i centrum af prag, men det tog kun kort tid med sporvogn, for at komme til Centrum. Der var dog noget støj fra en nærliggende […] togbro. Uzziniet vairāk

Hotel przerósł nasze oczekiwania. Miła obsługa, a warunki niemal komfortowe, ciepło w pokojach (mimo -24 na dworze). Zaskoczeniem było przywitanie kieliszkiem beherovki oraz czajnik i herbata to własnego przygotowania w pokoju. Lokalizacja blisko stacji metra dzięki czemu w 10minut byliśmy już na Starym Mieście. Teilweise funktioniert WLan auch stabil in einigen Zimmern. Antike, gut erhaltene Möbel in sauberen Zimmern. Nicht empfehlenswert bei leichtem Schlaf; zeitweise stark befahrene Eisenbahnstrecke und Strasse in direkter Umgebung. Leider keine Parkplätze nahe beim Hotel! ca. 5-10 Minuten zu gehen. In den Zimmern war die Geräuschdämmung der Abflussrohre […] durch scheinbar andauernde Bauarbeiten nicht in Ordnung und störend! Das angekündigte SatTv-Angebot beschränkte sich auf 2 englischsprachige Sender und einen deutschsprachigen Kindersender (SuperRTL Austria). Im Frühstücksraum lief ein russischsprachiger Nachrichtensender für die sicher in der Überzahl anwesende Nation. Ansonsten sehr schön unterhalb der Burganlage Vyšehrad gelegen, die sich sehr gut für einen Spaziergang mit Besichtigung eignet. Tagsüber kann man dort oben den Friedhof mit eindruckvollen Grabmälern teilweise auch in Deutschland bekannter Tschechen bewundern. Der Ausblick über die Moldau und die Stadt ist beeindruckend. Abends wird die gesamte Anlage sehr schön weit hin sichtbar illuminiert. Uzziniet vairāk

Von außen nicht unbedingt als Hotel erkennbar,von innen umso überraschender. Es wurde versucht, dem Hotel einen etwas antiken Anstrich zu verpassen durch die Einrichtung mit alt aussehenden Möbeln, Bildern und sonstigerer Ausstattung. Das ganze mag, aus der Nähe betrachtet, etwas kitschig aussehen, wirkt aber in Wirklichkeit sehr angenehm und stimmig. Einzig […] die magere Ausstattung mit Sitzmöbeln (hatte im 2-Bett-Zimmer nur einen Hocker), die wenigen Fernsehprogramme (1 x deutsch, 1 x italienisch, 1 x tschechisch, 1 x russisch, 1 x britisch und 1 x amerikanisch) sowie das fehlende W-LAN im gesamten Hotel (derzeit nur in der Lobby) sind in der heutigen Zeit eine eher schwache Leistung. Aber man ist ja in der Regel nicht deswegen in Prag. Die Anbindung per Tram (Linien 7, 18, 24) ist sehr gut, kostenlose Parkplätze (am Straßenrand) in zumutbarer Laufentfernung, Geldautomat und kleiner Supermarkt gleich gegenüber, ein paar Kneipen und Restaurants in kurzer Entfernung. Der Geburtsort Prags "Vysherad" befindet sich direkt oberhalb des Hotels und bietet fantastische Ausblicke auf die Moldau und auf Prag. Uzziniet vairāk

Hotelet er ikke fyldt med luksus, men det var pænt og rent, og vi skulle jo ikke rigtigt opholde os på hotelet. Morgenmaden var der, og den var ok. Der er et par kilometer ind til centrum, men tilgengæld ligger der et stor borg (Vysehrad ) lige i baghaven. Det er nemt at tage både sporvogn og metro til centrum.

Bon séjour au calme, dans un hôtel de style, les chambres sont spacieuses sur 4 étages avec ascenseur. Petit-déjeuner copieux. Hôtel un peu excentré, il faut compter 10 minutes de tram depuis VACLAVKE NAMESTI.

Lite utanför centrum, men i princip på promenadavstånd. En pampig image med möblemang i imperial stil och tillmötesgående personal. Inte så imponerande frukostbuffet och tyvärr ganska mycket buller från tåg och bilar utanför. Kan mycket väl tänka mig att återvända

Otel gayet güzel ve temiz, kahvaltı çeşitliliği fazla zengin değil... Personel gayet sıcak... Bence tercih edilebilecek güzel bir otel.
