"Nice for the money"
This hotel was great in all respects except the hot breakfast could be a bit better. I would rather them skip the breakfast meats that were of sub par quality and substitute it for fresh fruit

We found this hotel to be really great. It was close to everything that we had planned to do with the kids. Mainly the zoo. The pool was a huge hit with both of my kids! There were resturants within walking distance. We were very satisfied with our stay!

Great room, clean, large, and comfortable. Everything was new and modern. Bathroom was clean and in great shape. Nice variety in the complimentary breakfast offerings. As innkeepers ourselves, we were impressed with the value for money and wish we had the big chain budget to do our rooms up just like these.

I just spent 3 nights at this hotel with a group of about 140 traveling with a high school band. The stay couldn't have been any nicer. The room was extra large which I loved. Everything very clean; The beds were very comfortable. I really liked the vanity outside of the bath area. Even with this large group, there was always plenty on the breakfast […] bar. "Great hotel ...crappy mattresses."
The hotel was clean, well kept and updated, nice friendly staff, great location, not far from downtown. Breakfast was really good. With that being said, the mattresses were awful, hard and lumpy. Woke up with major back pain (we don't usually have back problems). Our trip was almost two weeks ago and still feeling the affects of those beds. So I won't […] be staying there again. "Hampton Inn and Suites St. Louis –Great breakfast!"
We enjoyed our stay. People at the front desk was friendly, clean room, loved the breakfast and kids liked the pool even though it wasn't as big as we wanted it to be. Very convenient location from the St. Louis Zoo, The Science Center and a lot of other attractions. Two thumbs up!

"Family weekend vacation."
Are you kidding me? We paid alittle more for the suite with the kitchenette and our room was AMAZING! Me, my wife and 4 year old son came up from Branson for a short vacation. We went to the Arch, Zoo and City Museum. Everything was easy to get to from the hotel. We will definately stay there next time we come to St. Louis.

We come to visit our daughter @Wash U and still are able to keep little brother happy with the warm swimming pool and close access to science museum, history museum... "Ideal location for family fun"
This is just down the road from the Science Center and other attractions. The rooms were really clean and breakfast was very nice. The staff was really helpful. The pool was also very clean and there were plenty of towels available. The only con was the entrance isn't very well marked, so we almost missed it.

It was a family trip for a wedding. We had three rooms and had no complaints for any of them. The front desk employees were Very Helpful with directions, transportation options and any other questions we had. We would stay again if ever needed again.

"Hampton Inn Forest Park"
I stayed here January 2012. The front desk staff, especially Josh, were very helpful upon check in. Josh even called to ask if I needed a wake-up call after I mentioned that I was taking a certification exam the next morning. Room was pretty quiet and very comfortable.

Excellent service- I stayed 2 nights for a wedding and we had a nice room, clean and comfortable. There was a slight issue with guests not being able to get into their rooms, however the manager handled the situation calmly and professionally and they took care of our room one night. The room was great! We had more than enough room. The Breakfast every morning really was terrific. We thought the Staff were terrific. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel was close to Forest Park which was beautiful.

Very attractive. Was busy when we arrived & seemingly only has 3 luggage carts/1 presumably used by guest, a few guests were waiting with a loaded up cart in the lobby (20 min later they were still there!) & other used by hotel staff to move mini refrigerators! Bedding excellent & lots of towels available. The water spout in the tub likely will come […] off soon as you have to pull really hard to get the shower going & enough force has been used that it pulls out of the wall a bit. Very convenient to Forest Park which is huge & has the zoo, art museum & science center. Breakfast buffet is really varied & good. Every am there were more guests than space so the conference room was opened up altho that space is not as appealing as the main "dining area". Noticed different forms of hoarding...2 or 3 families settled in at tables like they were there for the whole am & left clothing at 1 table which was barely used while others were searching for a place to sit. One guest with a laptop camped out at a table for 4 after 2 guests with her left. She didn't attempt to move to a smaller table, one of which was available close by. Others had finished their breakfast but then collected boxes of cereal, made sandwiches out of the hot egg dish & bread & several containers of yogurt. Just because the food is there doesn't mean you have to be a glutton. The intent is to provide you with a meal at the start of the day, not take care of breakfast, lunch & a few breaks. The hotel staff were constantly replenishing everythingf..how they plan for food amazes me BUT they did & there seemed to be enough. Uzziniet vairāk

This Hampton Inn was great! The staff was friendly, helpful, made the hotel feel like home. The free breakfast was good, and kept fully stocked. The staff provided muffins at the front desk our first night there, and free water as we were leaving. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I plan on staying at Hampton Inn again!

My wife and I have stayed at several hotels over the last couple of years, and Hampton at Forest Park was by far the best experience. Wonderful staff. Clean, well-lighted building and rooms. Convenient parking. Nice furniture and appointments, not at all like the usual cheap hotel furnishings. Price was right, too. We booked 2 rooms at this hotel for an overnight stay before my grandchild had surgery at Children's Hospital. The staff were great. The rooms were great. Loved the pool and hot tub as well. Great stay during a stressful time for our family!

My whole family was very satisfied with our stay. The location was central to all we were there for. The Queen Suite was spacious for our whole family. We all enjoyed the whirlpool, pool and the breakfast was satisfying.

Our stay was comfortable and carefree. No problems of any kind. I asked the desk person if they provided USA Today newspaper & he said he would make sure we had one every morning & we did! Breakfast was good & plentiful & they even made me bacon when I asked if there was bacon that morning. (there wasn't) And a plate of bacon appeared shortly thereafter. […] Great rates & location. The hotel was in very good shape and the rooms were very nice. The free WIFI was strong. The breakfast was typical. You will need a car as this hotel is not near downtown and The Arch. While the hotel was busy, we did not hear noise from other rooms.

The hotel was a little hard to find, as its buried back behind some new condos/apartments. But there were plenty of signs with arrows to get us there. Parking is free!!! WiFi is free!! These were the "little" things that steered me away from booking a downtown hotel. Our king suite was VERY roomy, had a couch, full desk, and large bathroom. Bed was […] soft and clean. The staff was very helpful and pleasant..made good recommendations for some local eats. The breakfast was quite yummy, had a waffle maker and lots of fruit, bagels, muffins, sausage, eggs, cereal etc. The hotel was close enough (5-10 min drive) to all the attractions, but also far enough away so that its quiet, no bums, or loud nightlife nearby. The ONLY downside is that the rooms had no refrigerators. I will for sure recommend this place to any friends or family who are going thru St. Louis. Definitely coming back :) Uzziniet vairāk

It seems very new (review is from Oct 2011), it is clean and well kept, the parking is abundant and free (which is important because St. Louis is not an easy walking or public transport kind of town), and the hotel location is good for downtown, the museums, Forest Park, Wash U, Clayton, and Univ.
