We booked deluxe room to celebrate Valentine Day in New Orleans 1.5 month before coming. Cheeking-in got a dusty small room with cracked walls out of house in a garden aria. The hotel employee replied we should call before to get a nice room. It took time our request was satisfied. We got a clean, good decorated room. We had an excellent experience here. The ownership was friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. We were close to the French Quarter and other attractions without being in the thick of things. The b&b was quiet, but in easy walking distance of everything we wanted to do.

This was our first stay in a bed and breakfast. We were very satisfied. Our hosts were very friendly and helped us with dining plans in the French Quarter. Had a great time.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary trip to NOLA. We had never stayed in a B&B before but the price per night was MUCH cheaper than other hotels in the area and parking was free. We loved that every room and a private bathroom with shower. The rooms could use some updated carpet and drapes, but everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was the perfect start to each day with a warm croissant and fresh fruit prepared personally each morning. I would recommend this quaint romantic location to anyone! The only drawback is that it is about 7 blocks fromt he main action on the french quarter, but extensive walking is expected when staying in or near there. Off-street parking so you don't have to drive around to find a spot, friendly service at all hours of the day and night, private bathrooms, only 1 block north of the French Quarter so within walking distance of activities and public transportation and very easy to get to and from I-10.There's heating and AC in the room too. The New Orleans Guest House is a great small hotel in the Treme neighborhood close to the French Quarter. While it is an older building, it is charming, clean, and a nice place to stay. This quaint old house is a delight. Walk to the french quarter. Furnished with antiques and comfy beds. The owners and staff were amazing - friendly and accomodating - they even went out to get crawfish for us when we expressed a wish for some.I definitly will stay there again.

This place rocks! The B&B is delightful and I cannot begin to describe the garden/courtyard where we had a delicious breakfast each morning. You will think you are in Paris. You can't miss it- the bubble gum pink house on Ursulines. We were charmed by the hosts and the comfy courtyard where my husband and I sipped a bottle of wine and relaxed amid tropical flora. The hosts at this hotel were kind, helpful and thoughtful, especially Ray. The room we were assigned was noisy with no privacy whatsoever(room#1). I did not sleep at all because this room was next to the hotel lobby and the only way to enter the hotel was to ring a door bell. I heard every conversation. We have stayed in some fancy, high end hotels before. Why they offer more "creature" comforts, this is hands down the cleaniest room we have ever stayed in. The people were very helpful and its position quite good for the french quarters area. The discription on the internet site is not quite what you get. The place is in need of alot of updating to a better standard. There is alot of maintence required. But New Orleans did not was everything we hoped for and enjoyed it.

This was the first time I have ever stayed at a B&B, so I cannot compare it with others, but I have stayed at many different hotels. I chose this particular B&B because of its proximity to Bourbon St. but far enough away to have it quiet at night. The building is old, with some wear and tear, but my room was very clean and had everything I needed. The […] room was small compared to some hotel rooms, but all I needed was a bed and a bathroom. The front door is locked at all times with someone on the premises to open it for guests 24/7. I requested a ground floor room due to some difficulty with stairs and was given a ground floor room. The staff was helpful in recommending restaurants and directions and various sites to see. Breakfast was great, fresh fruit and croisant with juice and coffee. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely call here first for a room Based on this experience, I plan on staying at B&B's whenever my travel plans allow. This was our first trip to New Orleans. The gentlemen that run that hotel made the stay wonderful. It really had a homey feeling. This is not a high end hotel, but for the cost and location, it is pretty much perfect. Unique and welcoming--I would gladly stay here again.

This is just a great little place to stay! You can walk to everything in the quarter in less than 10 - 15mins. The garden district is a 10 minute drive and there is a free parking lot as long as you leave your keys with the front desk! (The parking lot is very small and they need your keys to move blocked in cars). The staff is so helpful and actually […] own the property. Breakfast is wonderful, nice and light and with NOLA heat beating down on you you don't want anything heavy in the mornings!! I would recommend that everyone stay here for a true experience. It was like spending the night at Grandpa's house! The hotel was quaint, uniquely decorated and had a great garden/patio area for a yummy breakfast of fruit, croissant, juice and coffee. The owners and staff personnally assist you with everything - they even man the door, which is always locked for safety. This funky, charming B&B provides exactly what it advertises - great location, kind and helpful staff, lush garden for relaxation - at a price that can't be beat. Our mattress was a bit saggy. Reading, should one wish for a few quiet hours, was best done on the sunny veranda surrounded by the flowers and trees so lovingly tended.

this is a great walking location to Bourbon Street. Some off street parking at no extra charge. Lots of atmosphere. You must take in the WWll museum theater.

I was traveling alone and this was just what I needed. One of the only hotels that has parking included and with all of my luggage I needed my car close and safe. OLDER BUILDING, AS IS THE ORDINARY IN THE FRENCH QUARTER AREA. ROOM VERY COMFORTABLE. SERVICE FROM OWNERS WAS EXCEPTIONAL. LOCAL KNOWLEDGE SHARED WAS VALUABLE AS WE HAD NEVER BEEN TO THE CITY BEFORE. OVERALL, NOT FANCY BUT VERY ENJOYABLE STAY. WALKING DISTANCE TO MANY SITES. WOULD STAY AGAIN.

This was a great place to stay in a great city to visit. Our host welcomed us at the door as we arrived and walked us out as we left. The rooms were very clean, decor awesome, breakfast at 9 was a special experience. The French Quarter across the street and only a few minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and the riverwalk. We were just down the […] street from the St. Louis Cemetary I, next to down town and the Harrah's Casino. Lots of fun. You can get to most of the sights on foot or using their great public transportation system. If you need a taxi the fares are very reasonable. Wife and I look forward to return in the near future. Very good location... 4 blocks from Bourbon St...built in the 1800s, the building is very well maintained and has a beautiful courtyard. The staff are the nicest group of men you will find in New Orleans.... Very accommodating. We will definitely stay at this location again... Oh, and another plus is their private parking on the property!

STAY HERE if you are planning to go to New Orleans. The staff is helpful and attentive; the location is great - walking distance to Bourbon Street but far enough away to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle; the rooms are clean and well kept; and the breakfast they serve is delicious.

Went in for a long weekend and was looking for a hotel at a reasonable price. This was my first stay at a B&B and I found the staff to be very nice and helpful. I came in town to run the Mardi Gras marathon and the staff seemed very interested and offered me a late checkout so I could clean up even without me asking. Would stay here again

My boyfriend and I were on a cross-country road trip and spending 2 days in New Orleans along the way. The price and reviews of this place were really good so we chose to stay at the Guest House B&B. The guys who run the place are really nice and the B&B has a lot of charm--very quaint, fun and funky. The breakfast could use a little sprucing up though, […] we just got a little fruit and a warmed croissant, but at least it was something. This place is also a block outside the French Quarter, so you need to be aware when walking back at night. We had the room that connects to the front balcony, which was wonderful to sit on and just relax for a bit after walking around the Quarter so much! All in all a great experience for the price. Really enjoyed staying here! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city, and provided some good recommendations for our first visit to New Orleans. We got a room in the courtyard, which was beautifully decorated. The room was somewhat homely, but it was clean and provided us with a pleasant place to sleep and shower.
