It's a beach hotel that's cheap - We got a great rate on a room and stayed out all night. Beats driving home anytime. Don't expect much but we had no issues at all.

This is not a luxury hotel, make no mistake. However, I would definitely stay again. The location is perfect - just in between Atlantic and Pacific, and just about across the street from the beach. It is a straight shot from 29th street to the beach, and it is only a couple blocks from Neptune's statue and playground. There is a Harris Teeter grocery […] store a little over a block away, and lots of restaurants and shops all along Atlantic within walking distance. The suite was spacious, nice large living room that included a table with two chairs, desk, and sleeper sofa. The kitchen area had a large-ish mini-fridge, microwave, sink, and 7-8 upper/lower cupboards. There was not a coffeemaker or any kitchen ware or utensils. The bathroom was fine, the closet area across from it was spacious and included a safe. The bedroom had two double beds, dresser, TV and small window. It was plenty of space for two adults and three small kids, even with all our luggage and double stroller. It was clean, I did not see any mold or bedbugs, and housekeeping did a nice job of a quick sheet change, vacuum, and straighten each day. The air conditioning was very loud, but it was nice to have a steady background noise. It did a good job of keeping the room cool even thought it was VERY hot when we were there. The parking lot was very tight, but that is typical. We had no trouble finding a spot each night. There is no pool, elevator, or laundry on site, but we didn't miss any of those things. We were there for the beach! It was basic, but really, for what we paid I couldn't be more pleased with what we got. With three kids we aren't looking for luxurious, it was just what we needed!! This motel is at a great location for the beach but that's all that's great about it. It smells bad, looks like mold in the bathroom (was afraid to touch wall tiles), the housekeeping gave me heck for getting some dirt on their towels, they complain when you get some sand on the floor (hello, you're near a beach!!!) The manager was nice but watches […] you closely on how many pastries you take. They only have pastries, coffee, juice for breakfast. The main person for housekeeping is not very nice. Very convenient to beach. Like having 2 rooms when have kids ,refrigerator,microwave. Hotel old, my son kept thinking bugs were going to come out ,somewhat clean,no frills,thrills, they say you get what you pay for. Perfect location and hotel staff was nice. Our biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the room. the carpet was so dirty our feet were black after a few seconds of walking on it. We also found hair all over the sheets when we first arrived. Hotel staff immediately brought us new sheets. Does need some updating.

this hotel is ok.

My two kids and me stayed for two nights! It is a pretty decent hotel. It just smells old but I took room spray with me and it was OK. It us very close to the beach which we enjoyed the parking lot is small but if you know how to park OK

No hot water the first night and no air conditioning the second. Location is good.

This hotel was a complete disappointment. The staff made us feel uncomfortable. The room was filthy, and the rates were not comparable to the service. I do not recommend staying here at all. This is for the crowd that has no standards. Three levels and no elevator! How very handicap friendly! Save your money!

Room we are in are newly painted but it's so dirty and smelly, it smell like mildew and urine all over the room, the sofa is so dirty and smelly that are not comfortable to sit on at all. the blanket is so old and its falling apart, so is the comforter. It listed with coffee maker but fund none, and no radio or alarm clock either.

although the location is good, the hotel was very "seedy": cigarette burns and stains on the couch, (non-smoking room ,which smelled of smoke), dirty sheets on the bed, (replacement sheets were stained and frayed, and I had to remake the bed myself), saggy old mattresses, stained/frayed towels, etc. There was an extra fee for late check-out. Booked this hotel the night before the marathon and it ended up being the best thing we did. It is RIGHT between Atlantic and Pacific near food and a block from the beach. It also happened to be three blocks from the marathon start and only one from the finish. PERFECT. Great location. Just walk across the street to the beach. The staff was very friendly and assisted with any requests. Housekeeping forgot to leave soap, did not clean toilet. Bathroom could have used a little more attention. Front desk provided extra blanket, and soap when requested. I had 3 children with me and they loved the location. Overall we had […] a great time! The hotel building and rooms are looking a little tired and in need of some remodeling, but the proximity to the water and the price make up for any shortcomings!

Pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the beds, cleanliness of the rooms and attention to detail from the staff. A/C a little noisey in the room we stayed. Will return.

Liked everything about the hotel, staff, location, etc., with one exception , even that was corrected for us. Parking is limited, just let the office know if there's no parking and they will find a space. I'd stay again and would recommend it to others.

The room had a moldy smell to it and the filter for the a.c. unit looked like it had never been changed. The a.c. didn't work properly and the mattresses were so old that it was like sleeping on the springs themselves. After two days we developed a small head cold due to the poor air system. If you're on a low budget, and want to be near the beach, this hotel is for you. If you want to actually see the ocean instead of hotels blocking the ocean, stay away from this hotel!

If you're on a tight budget, this place will work. If you want a view of the ocean, stay away from this place! They have a great view of other hotels blocking the ocean.

The Room give to us should not be rented out since it is extremely noisy, due to the fact that it is adjacent to the electric/laundry/utility room. I was told the noise would stop at 5pm, but it didn't and kept/woke me up at night. The room also has a damp smell.
