Good location off I-95, & close to great restaurant @ MILLHOUSE Steak House! Problem w/ owner/manager situation & understanding requests. Advised not necessry to change sheets daly, but refresh bath linnens. No clean bath towles,etc. 2 days, but did replace 3rd. day. Resident owner/manager family lives on property & kids in lobby & breakfast areas. […] Only hot breakfast item was biscuts & canned gravey. . . . entire time there! No changes in any breakfast selections available. . . . think purchased from COStCO, Sams Club, Wal Mart, etc; under3stand food cost control, but gives cheap impressioin of management view on general operration. Outside trash contaiiners not empetied, overflowiing, & trash left aroiund stairways & laundry areas. Would recommend property mainly on location & size of assigned suite. Our hotel suite was perfect surprise. The size was like a one bedroom apt. Everything you could need was at your finger tips. We stayed for 6 days as we were doing cancer treatment at the SE Ga. Clinic. I would recommend this hotel highly for those on a treatment stay. Very comfortable, and convenient.

stay in Brunswick a lot to visit family and I am pretty pleased with the Hawthorn. the housekeepers were gems, I got a Lot more for the money ( heck it wasn't a suite it was a studio apt awesome). the only flaw was there seemed to be a mildew smell by the br closet and the bar at bottom of recliner was broke, but in a nutshell a great tiem ans expe […] rience.KUDOS Uzziniet vairāk

Endured it for one night but won't stay there again. Had to change rooms after unpacked b/c room was not as promised (# of beds). Maintenance & cleanliness were severely lacking & the mattress on the pull out bed was in terrible (flat) condition. Had to ask for several things that should've already been in the room. Bare light bulbs in the bathroom. Blood stain on the towels. Hair in the bathroom. If it is a "have to stay someplace" situation. It is convenient to the interstate and near a good restaurant. Otherwise, I would stay at one of the other 5 hotels on the block.

This is a very nice hotel with a full kitchen, fridge, and very comfortable beds. When we got there, the room wasn't clean, but they sent some people to clean it up, and it was spotless! They have free washer/dryer, and a pretty decent continental breakfast. I'd say that for such a low price, it was a great stay - a great bargain!

Our family experience at this Wyndham hotel was virtually perfect, with convenient central access to all the islands. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool outside is very small and good for only about six people but this is a beach town so not a big deal. The manager questioned my breakfast choice on my last day as I was obtaining yogart to […] take back to the room. After I explained how many I was getting for and reason I was taking them back to the room, he conceded and let me be. This was the best two star hotel I ever stayed at. My wife liked the idea of the kitchenette but said she was on vacation and refused to cook. Having the beds in a separate room was the best ever hotel concept that I appreciated. I was able to stay up late and either watch the living room television or get on one of my laptops that I brought along. The front lobby had a computer workstation for anyone to use. It was a safe and pleasant experience for my entire family. (wife, two kids) If I summed up my experience, I would say that this hotel was the best choice for the available price ranges available at the time. Very accomodating, friendly. We had an oversite on our part, manager quickly took care of it. THANK YOU DORTHY !!!!!!!!!!! Rooms very well kept.

Great room for the price an oversized spacious suite. Great value for the money

This is a true suite setup, unlike some hotels that call themselves suites and have a room with a partial divider. But this hotel has a bedroom that is completely closed off from the enormous kitchen/dining/living area. And with no windows in the bedroom it is very dark and quiet - a great place to rest. Hawthorn Suites is strategically located to all major roads and shopping which is a plus and looks really nice on the outside including the lobby area. Staff was really nice at the desk too. However, inside the room reminded me that "you get what you pay for." Carpets were spotted, tub in bathroom had dirt rings that were deep including on the floor […] of the tub. Ceilings fans were full of dust that you could see it when you looked up. Kitchen cabinets had gunk on them and the furniture was heavily stained. Oh and the big one was when I rolled the comforter back, there was hair all over the brown blanket. Nasty! I couldn't sleep nor take a shower there. I didn't have time to complain and find another hotel as I was there seeing a sick friend. So, I stayed at her house. I would not recommend this place to anyone even if you are on a budget!
