Plantation Bed & Breakfast — Lemon Cove

It was one of the best accomondations we have had in our holidays in the USA. The owners, Scott and Marie, are a very friendly couple. All rooms are subject of 'gone with the wind'. We felt very comfortable at this location.

Relax amongst the lemon & orange groves, surrounded by the rolling golden hills of California. A unique place in America. The nearby Orange Blossum Restaurant was great (used to be a Packing House). Can't miss Three Rivers - a river with huge granite bolders flowing from Sequoia National Park into Lake Kaweah just 3 miles away. We loved the Park, the […] Giant Redwoods & everything we saw. We stayed in the Scarlet O'Hare Room with Fireplace and Veranda. Beautiful grounds, pool, spa & awesome breakfasts! The Inn is well kept and the atmosphere is exactly that of a plantation home. Nice living room and a pantry area close to our room. It has a great outdoor pool and a Jacuzzi under the starlight sky. The gourmet full breakfast is wonderful, cooked by the owner Chef Marie. Muselli cereal, yogurt, fruit, apple crisp, hot rolls and the main dish of sauteed […] asparagus and mushroom crepes. Fresh squeezed orange juice is simply delicious. The place setting of beautiful English porcelin set with matching silverware added additional flair to the breakfast. We stayed for one night while visiting Sequoia Park. It is about a 45 min drive from the Park and easy to locate on the main highway. We checked in around 8PM, but finding a decent place for dinner was a hassle. We drove about 25 min. into Visalia, but most places close ealy. We ended up picking up fast food from a drive through. To expensive for the comfort.

I loved the Plantation Bed and Breakfast! The owners are a married couple who are living the dream, using their talents to make the most wonderful experience! The homemade breakfast was amazing. I can still smell the scones baking in the oven. The Gone with the Wind themed rooms were entertaining and fun. I loved the stunning park in the back with the […] rolling grass and willow trees.
