We got the King suite for our family of three. Great layout - with private room and sleeper sofa in a "living area". The room amenities had fridge, coffee, mini bar sink, microwave- very helpful with snacks. Having an indoor and outdoor option was perfect with the unpredictable weather. While the free breakfast and the kickback reminded me of cruise […] buffet lines, it work well for us. Our son had a snack at the kickback while we took advantage of the cocktails. This is an amazing hotel! We stayed 3 days, and have zero complaints. The kickback and breakfast were really tasty, I was expecting way less per other reviews! The kids enjoyed the rooftop pool and the access to the river walk. Will be staying here again on our next trip down! The staff was very nice and helpful which was a nice bonus! To start off the valet guys were fast, professional, courteous, and great giving directions! Housekeeping was friendly and clean! Breakfast was plentiful and delishish! 5:30 Kick-Back was super fun and a big bonus to the stay! I plan to stay at the Drury Plaza for any future trips!

I stayed two nights at Drury and it was all I expected! Everyone fond over my two large dogs which the dogs didn't mind ;) and there's a convenient location outside the valet entrance, to the left, then to the right on the sidewalk where the dogs can take care of their business. I was staying on the 19th floor and thought it was going to be a headache […] taking the dogs out all the time.. But it really wasn't. Staff was very courteous, elevators were fast, free continental breakfast, free wifi and Ethernet cable in the room (and connection was relatively fast!!), 3 complimentary alcoholic drinks per adult.. Really cannot beat all that!!! Hotels.com made things very convenient too - you work directly with them so when you get to Drury everything is set, only thing is (if you want) to put a credit card down for incidentals, I.e. room service. My room was dirty! The curtains were stained and I am pretty sure the to toilet was not cleaned before I checked in! But the location was fantastic, could even see the River walk from the room! Enjoyed the free drinks, and breakfast was a great experience. Just needs more deep cleaning in the rooms!

WE ENJOYED OUR 3 DAY STAY. THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN, SERVICE WAS ABOVE ANY. THE ONLY PROBLEM, I AM A LIGHT SLEEPER & OUR ROOM WAS NEAR OUTSIDE AIR CONDITIONERS WHICH WAS BOTHERSOM. The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was nice to just walk down through the basement and onto the Riverwalk. Security was a major concern for the area however there were no issues during our stay.

Hotel room was comfortable and clean. Service the staff provided was superior. We enjoyed the breakfast and evening kickback. The first evening at the kickback, we were greeted by a manager. Then after we had our plates and drinks, we saw that tables were filling up and this manager came from way across the room to open up a closed section to see that […] we were seated comfortably. It was a great location. Access to Riverwalk from basement. We had a king suite with a balcony that overlooked the river (when you sat right next to the railing..we were on the 11th floor of the tower) and the San Fernando cathedral. Our hotel was exceptional. The room was very clean. The sheets looked brand new. The restroom was very well cleaned and lots of towels, which we like! Oh, and the breakfast was the best ever! Can't say enough about the overall quality of service, room and food! The best hotel ever to stay in San Antonio!

We are never disappointed in this hotel. Stay here every time we come to San Antonio. People are friendly, hotel has charm and character, and can't beat the kickbacks! Room was clean and view was wonderful. Valet actually went and jumped our car off when it wouldn't start and were so nice.

With a full hot breakfast every morning and another meal from 5-7pm every night, a family could save a bundle on food alone. And it's not just a snack. We were very pleased with the Drury. The bldg is beautiful and is in a nice location. It is in a quiet location on the Riverwalk so if you want to be closer to all the bars & restaurants you may want something a bit closer. We enjoyed walking to the busier areas. This is our second stay at a Drury property (after New Orleans, 2012), and it again exceeded our expectations. Drury's parent company has a special way of repurposing classic old structures, and turning them into great places to stay. This was once the Alamo National Bank, a wonderful art deco landmark in San Antonio. Our room was clean, and extremely […] quiet. Check-in service and food service staff were friendly and efficient. Location, on a quiet part of the Riverwalk, was sensational. A short 3 minute walk beside the river gave you access to loads of restaurants, shops, activities, and interesting sights. You can't beat the hot food for both breakfast and dinner, along with three alcoholic beverages per guest, per night. The food was hot, plentiful, with enough of a variety, and more than adequate. (Not a gourmet sit-down dining experience, but nothing lacking in a meal, clearly.) Only thing I would clarify is the parking. We self-parked on the 2nd floor, and when checking out the next day, the hotel garage staff indicated that we could have gotten towed. There were no signs to let you know that, and front desk staff should ask where you parked, and whether it was valet or self-parking. Regardless, everything worked out fine, and we had NO problems. I enjoyed my stay at the Drury Hotel. It was great being able to have both breakfast and dinner at the hotel. It was convenient to be able to directly access the Riverwalk from the hotel.

My friends and I were stuck in elevator number 2 for 35 minutes. It took two phone calls before anyone did anything to get us out. However, the manager was AMAZING!!!! He definitely made us quickly forget about the situation and was extremely accommodating. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

This was one of best Hotels I have stayed at in San Antonio. I have been to San Antonio at least 10 times and this was my first stay. Our room was awesome and we were so close to everything on the river walk. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice location, great views, the halls, and shampoo, condition, body wash containers mounted on the shower walls remind me of my college dorm or a cheap gym's lockeroom. Honestly, my gym has nicer bathrooms.

Historic, beautiful, and very clean hotel. We LOVED our stay and will definitely come back. The free breakfast buffet was excellent, as well as the free drinks and appetizers at the evening kickback. The rooms were spacious and cozy as well. Definitely a place I would recommend to all.

i will have to say the hotel is great, comfortable, and in a convinient location. HOWEVER, the only thing, is that as younger people traveling (25-30 years old), we felt like the youngest people that stayed there. it is definetly more for an older crowd. it didn't matter to us, but just FYI for any other younger people looking to stay here.

The room was outstanding and the staff were all the friendliest of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The location is right there on the Riverwalk and within walking distance to the Alamo and the Rivercenter Mall. We will defiantly book there again on our next trip.

Hotel was somewhat dated, and having to take two different elevators to get to our room was not covenant. Excellent. I would have given a 5 on room cleanliness, but there was a blood spot on one of my pillow covers. Kind of unsavory. I would skip the free breakfast next time. It didn't fit the ambience of a fine hotel.

The kickback at 5:30 with free food and drinks is a nice perk, and the hot breakfast is very good as well. You can access the riverwalk from the hotel elevator. Lots of places to eat and sights to see. The San Fernando tower we really enjoyed the room with the balcony

It took us a while to find out how to get to the parking area when we arrived and once we found it, we found out we would only be able to do valet parking onsite. We decided to do it and it wasn't that big of a deal, but I understand for some, it can be an extra added cost they aren't wanting to take on. We went to check in and everything went smoothly, […] they gave us some cards for their breakfast in the morning as well as some complementary drinks and hot food that evening. We decided to get the free drinks, but passed on the food so we could go eat out. The drinks were ok, but I really don't think you can expect amazing when it's free! I did appreciate that the bartender was happy to make a different drink if you tried it and didn't like it. We went down to their basement level floor which is where the river access is at. It was a little strange being down there, but there is a door out to the river walk! I was thinking it wasn't really there once we got down there, even though there were signs for it! Anyway, the room was nice, everything was clean. I liked that they had some more green ways of operating the hotel, like having dispensers on the wall for shampoo, etc. instead of the little bottles that end up in the landfill. We ate their hot breakfast in the morning. It seemed to be a typical hot breakfast as you would have at any hotel.
