We both enjoyed our stay very much, the food was always excellent the staff were so helpful and friendly. The location was ideal for the locaations that we visited during our stay.The hotel itself was spotless. We will definitly be coming back here again.

We had a very nice twin room on the ground floor. The windows could be opened as there was a restrictor on the window. The room and en suite bathroom were both spotless, and cleaned after the first night again. The hotel staff were polite and breakfast self service but good. Very enjoyable, the only thing I would say is that it was a bit difficult to navigate around the hotel as the signage was not always clear and it is a bit of a rabbit warren.

The hotel is just a few minutes off the A34 and down a winding lane through its grounds. We were very lucky to be upgraded to stay in the beautiful "Rose" room which was located in the lovely old Manor House (complete with dark wooden paneling in the entrance hall and stairway). Our room was very large with lovely big windows overlooking the lawn down […] to a lake. Large lamps and tables around the room, a chaise longue on which to watch the flat screen TV, together with a two-seater sofa & coffee table. Coffee/tea facilities with chunky biscuits. Big white robes and large double bed. Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this room - a real treat! We had a meal in the restaurant which we both enjoyed - the cost was as expected. The Manor House is a separate building from the main hotel so recommend an umbrella in case it rains, however, it is just a few minutes walk away and so lovely staying in a building with character. Unfortunately we arrived early evening and left the next morning and didn't see the leisure facilities. Breakfast was OK. I really hope we make it back to try out another Manor House room. I booked 2 rooms, one double and one twin. However, on arrival we were allocated 2 doubles. Unfortunately there were no twins available so we were given a put you up bed in one of the doubles which was not ideal and not what we paid for. Gorgeous hotel,hidden away near Winchester! The staff were lovely, the room was very comfortable and welcoming! I used the pool and my partner the gym towards the end of the evening, and found everything great! We had a very pleasant stay here - comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Only down side - the pool was full of families playing splashy games which made it impossible to swim (one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel). Check child-free swimming times!

The hotel is clean, comfortable and a 'jumping off point' for some wonderful country walks, sightseeing in Winchester etc. We felt the restaurant dinner was overpriced with miserly portions - that said, the food at dinner was very good quality. Breakfast was disappointing for a 4* hotel. Aside from the fact that they did not have enough room to cater […] for everyone on the Sunday morning, there should have been more fresh fruit and the quality overall of the continental items was poor to adequate. Personally, I also dislike making my own toast in a hotel,particularly when the toaster doesn't work too well and the bread was too thin. Overall, reasonable value for the offer price we paid. The hotel is isolated for a business trip but ideal for getaway from the rat race. Smashing hotel.

Nice hotel but very strange lay out. No good for those who struggle walking as room was a long walk from reception. Walking through a cold drafty corridor in winter not ideal Food and service of a good standard

This is a superb hotel set in acres and acres of parkland - not visible from the road - and we will definitely stay again. The rooms are very high quality, food and wine is too, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. It is laid out over just two floors and has a really nice indoor pool and spa with fitness room. A hotel conveniently located for Portmouth (50 minutes away) and Winchester (15 minutes away), but you require a car to travel to local pubs and restaurants, although the hotel food, service and general ambience is good if a little expensive. We enjoyed our stay and intend to try another in the same chain.

Not a bad hotel and in fact I'd go as far as classifying it as "good". But I cannot see how it gets a 4-star rating rather than a 3-star which I think would be more apt. It's the little things and attention to detail which make a 'normal' hotel something special and attention to detail was certainly lacking at the Norton Park Hotel. Breakfast was good […] but having to queue and wait to be seated while been ignored for several minutes simply spoiled the breakfast experience. Very peaceful setting with open aspects and adjacent historic buildings and old barns, ideal for a stroll. We stayed here for the first 2 days of a touring holiday and it's a good base for exploring the New Forest area, without the hustle and bustle of a town. However, due to the location, you are a bit 'confined to camp' if you don't want to drive […] or walk too far and the bar & restaurant prices are a bit steep. That said, with 54 acres and the high standards of service and cleanliness we experienced, this is understandable/ forgiveable. One idea they may wish to consider is to offer delivering luggage to the room as it's a fairly large hotel and you have to work out a parking strategy to get as close to the room as you can- probably not a big deal if you're on a short break with hand luggage but when you have 2 weeks' worth it's a bit of a pain! enjoy the pool, limited use due to the specific children's times, although understand why, but would like later opening for children.

I only stayed here one night, and I would have liked to have stayed longer to try out the spa. Daisy, the Reception Manager was excellent. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The only criticism I have is that the bath had not been cleaned, but one phone call to Daisy and this was soon sorted out. All the staff seemed very friendly and […] professional. Lovely location, great food, well furnished and friendly staff, what more could you ask for................well only one thing more..fried eggs with a runny middle please, thats my only gripe Have now booked again for next week!!

The Norton Park was an excellent hotel and far better than our expectations. The staff were delightful and the whole atmosphere professional and relaxed. It was peaceful and perfectly located for Winchester Centre, Stonehenge and several National Trust properties.

we were very disapointed with the complementary wi fi as it says in the conformation , to find out when we checked in it was actually only 2 hours complimentary wi fi access, also the room was very small and hot with no air conditioning and could not leave window open all the time as we were on the ground floor.

Me and my wife were lucky enough recently to get a weekend free from the kids for the first time in 4 years. We looked at many hotels in the Winchester area and found a great deal on this particular one. Despite reading some negative reviews we opted to give it a try and really do not regret it. On arrival at the hotel we parked outside reception and […] were greeted on entry by a charming young man at reception who had us checked in in no time at all. He gave us all the relevant information we required and advised us to where to park to be nearest to our room. The room was very modern, clean and had everything we could need for a short, romantic getaway. The furnishings and bathroom were among the best of any hotel I've stayed in. I found the bed very comfortable an slept well every night. Despite a large wedding taking place at the hotel on our second night we still found the place to be very quiet. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, there was a huge choice and even during the busy time that we were there there was certainly enough left to choose from. I heard a lot of other guests grumbling about the queue at the cooked breakfast buffet but I put this purely down to the length of time it took people to decide what to have when they got there. On checking in we were advised when the busiest time was at breakfast so it's not as if I was expecting anything but a busy dining room. On our second day we were advised the incorrect time for breakfast by a lady on reception and arrived half an hour after the restaurant had closed. Instead of sending me and my wife away hungry, the manager immediately offered to send us breakfast in our room. This was a really nice touch and we actually received a lot more food and drink than I would have had at the buffet. The leisure facilities and grounds of the hotel are beautiful. Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff - best pancakes I have tasted outside Paris !! Perfect place to chillax - We had a lovely 3 nights stay and came away refreshed and relaxed - Ideal base for touring Hampshire - Lovely grounds for that after dinner stroll -

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel, food was good, bar comfortable, pool and gym were great. I recommend it. The location was beautiful and particularly convenient for the wedding we were attending!

Grosser Nachteil dieses Hotels die fehlende Airkondition! Die Zimmer waren ziemlich klein, das Essen sehr teuer. Es gibt zum Glück in der Nähe schöne Pubs! Das Frühstücksbuffet war riesig und man konnte das Essen im Fitnesscenter abstrampeln.
