This is a lovely little hotel, inside the old part of town so central to all the interesting stuff, bars,restaurants, museums etc., and the castle only a short stroll away. Old building, but very well modernised inside. Lift, and a fab shower in our room. Hotel MB only serves breakfast, and there is no bar, but on our last afternoon we discovered a […] lovely little bar just a bit further up the little cobbled street from the hotel entrance. Half a litre of beer and a good coffee came to €2.80!! Cheapest we found... Free access to Internet in rooms - just ask for a cable. A completely renovated 600 year old building on a quiet narrow side street just off the main drag with all the shops, restaurants, cafes you could ask for during your stay. Great hotel room, super friendly staff, wouldn't change a thing, and would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Bratislava.

Excellent location and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was average, with not a lot of choice for vegetarians or special dietary requirements.

This was a lovely place to stay, it was a special experience. I couldn't have imagined better because the exterior is old (not sure about the architectural history) and the interior is modern. The room was clean and comfortable. The only odd thing was that we found escort service cards in the wardrobe and the bathroom doors were made of a see-through […] plastic, which made bathroom time a bit uncomfortable while traveling with a friend. The breakfast was fine, but nothing special, it did come with the price. The location is excellent, you can walk to all of the scenic places from the hotel. It was located in the old Stare Mesto, rich, cultural center near one of the only surviving gates that guarded the old city. I highly recommend this hotel. Uzziniet vairāk

This hotel is situated in a perfect spot within the pedestrian area of Bratislava. It is run with absolute efficiency by delightful young and intelligent girls who oversee the hotel 24 hours a day, and much of the time can be found with their noses in their academic books - but never too deep for a welcoming, warm smile and an offer of help. Ideally located in the heart of Bratislava's Old town. Situated in narrow, cobbled street - very peaceful indeed. Warm welcome, and made to feel it was a home-from-home experience. I've traveled all over Europe and stayed in 2 star to 5 star places. Michalska Brana was one of my favorites. Quaint little hotel. Great service. Good English. Very clean and comfortable. Stayed just before Christmas, loved it and will be coming back next Summer. Fantastic location, pleasant interior, polite staff. The only negative was an over enthusiastic cleaner slamming the bathroom doors somewhere in the hotel while vacuming one of the rooms between 8-9am!

The hotel is on a small side street just five minutes away from the main sights. The hotel was recently renovated and the staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a lovely peaceful garden just off the lobby. Our room was quite small, but adequate for the one night we stayed. Great location in historic Bratislava, walk to shops restaurants, historic sites. People were very friendly and hotel although in centuries old building has been fully updated. Would definitely stay here again

This hotel had one of the best locations right next to the historic tower. The rooms were modern and good size and the staff was very helpful. Perfect place. It also has a wonderful courtyard that nobody uses, great place for a quiet snack or book reading.

We arrived at our hotel at 10.30 am to find that our room was not only ready but available for us to use. Breakfast was varied, substantial and of a good quality. The bed was firm and the room was quiet despite being by St Michael's Gate. The staff were friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. The only suggestion I would make - if you have room in your luggage […] bring a travel kettle - because, as is the norm for most mainland European hotels, there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Well located in the old town in pedestrian area so a short haul over cobbles with suitcases on arrival may not suit less mobile other wise not an issue. Transfers arranged were punctual, reliable but quite costly. We were quoted 12€ for a taxi to railway station a 50c ride by tram. Boat to Vienna a much better option than rail for similar price.

My friend and I were positively surprised at the quality of the hotel. We thought there was a very good price vs quality ratio.Location could hardly have been any better, as it was located in the centre of Old Town in a narrow cobbled stone street. Would stay there again without hestiation. :-)

Lite og veldig hyggelig hotell 50 m fra hovedgaten og rett ved et vell av restauranter og barer. Veldig hyggelig og vennlig betjening. siden jeg har satt en firer på service er det grunnet at spisesal betjeningen kanskje kunne vært bedre i engelsk. Vi var der sammen med et annet par og var alle veldig fornøyde. Vi anbefaler hotellet på det varmeste

Vi, to venniner på 30 år, hadde et flott opphold her. Rommene så ut som bildene fra hotellet. Vi hadde rom med to enkeltsenger. Det var ikke spesielt stort, men vi hadde god plass. Minibaren var egentlig et mellomstort kjøleskap, og hadde god plass til dagligvarer vi kjøpte selv. Badet var fint, vårt hadde ikke badekar, men hadde en romligdusj, med […] plass til to, for den som skulle ønske det. Det eneste vi hadde å utsette på komfort på rommet var madrassen i sengene som ble litt for harde etter vår smak. Alle vi hadde kontakt med av personlaet var hyggelige og serviceinnstilte. Vi likte beliggenheten til hotellet godt, da det var gangavstand til alt vi ville se av serverdigheter, shoppingsentrene og til deler av Bratislava som ikke bare var for turister, som vi ofte hadde inntrykk av i Gamlebyen. You would never expect such a modern & fresh hotel inside this 600 years old forthouse! The business room we had was super clean, quiet spacious and air conditioned! No need to take the taxi since no cars are allowed inside the old town, bus 93 from the central stations stops at a small square that is about 100 meters away from the hotel. Ligger perfekt til i gamlebyen. Hotellinngangen var vanskelig å få øye på at det kun var en liten låst dør som vi måtte ringe på for å få komme inn. WI-Fi kun i resepsjonen. Frokosten var enkel, men grei.

Bra hotell med idyllisk og perfekt plassering i forhold til Gamlebyen og i gangavstand frå sentraljernanestasjonen. Varme rettar til frokost står ikkje framme, desse vert tilberedd på bestilling.

ホテル前が石畳の細い道でタクシーで入れないため、 重い荷物を持っている場合は少々疲れます。 朝食込みで支払いを済ませており、最終日に早朝の汽車で移動することになって朝食時間前にチェックアウトしなければならなくなってしまい、前日にホテルの人に聞いたら「コーンフレークぐらいだったら出せる」と言われたにもかかわらず何も用意されていませんでした。 スタッフの間のコミュニケーションがきちんととれていないと感じました。　また、ホテル内のレストランは朝食用のみで昼や夜には使えませんでした。
