Eldorado Motor Inn — Atlantic City

Ask for a non smoking room, room walls very filty, blanket burned by cigarets and dirty. The bed linnen was clean, the staf was friendly and the location was great. Needs fresh painting ad up grade.

Was in AC for a Furthr concert, needed an inexpensive place to stay for the night . This place met my needs. If your looking for more,,,,stay at the Tropicana and spend the bucks.

Hotel is in a great location It is a place to crash It is old and not well maintained Parking is onsite - and free Exactly what I expected for the price on a Sat. night in AC. Don't go if you want to hang out in your room Go if you need a place to crash

Holy mother of Christ...Pure filth. Room smelled like an ash tray, looked like the place was hit with an RPG. Cheaply patched holes in the walls, bathroom door was apparently knocked off its hinges and just thrown back in place. The bed felt like I was laying on springs and flattened cotton balls...Terrible...Never again.

The El Dorado was great! It was cheap, clean, and comfortable and the owner and staff were so nice and helpful---coffee and honeybuns for breakfast--yum!! Also you cant beat the location.

The hotel was really close to all the casinos and the boardwalk but as far as a nice hotel HELL no!!! It was dirty and prostitutes were lingering around the premises, it was horrible!!! Never again :)

Went to Jersey on a humbug. FIrst on their behalf didn't know that there was an airshow going on. But asked for and paid for a non-smoking room and the room smelled of cigarettes. The manager didn't believe us and called for his manager. They tried to convince us we were crazy until we pointed out an ashtray in the room. Only thing they had was a double. […] I just hanging out so no big deal right. Absolutely Not! Lost the fridge because we moved to a double. Had to wait for the hot water to get hot (15 min) and the bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in (and wouldn't lock). for one nite, in the filthy, noisey, parking lot was a nightmare..bed cover filthy. towels in bathroom worse than sandpaper...paper bath mat. could not even think of taking a shower in the bathroom. could not wait to go to the concert back to room, terrified there might be bugs in the bed, but managed to sleep and leave as soon as we woke up...Hotel.com […] should never suggest this motel ever again. one good thing, location... Amazing for the price, incredibly close to the beach and the boardwalk. For what you pay it's totally worth it. If your standards are higher and your expectations are set high do not try to find anything better for the price they ask.

The Hotel is dirty, noisy and lousy bservice.

It was a good place except for 2 things. First of all, the towels in the bathroom were about half the size, so make sure you bring your own towels if you use the shower. Second, we had a hard time to get back into our room on the second day. It was taken care of but I thought that the key card should have worked for our entire stay. No parking, No pool, No breakfast

Other than were it's located & price this place has nothing else to offer! Rooms are dingy and moldy. There's no such thing as Non-smoking! No matter what room you're in you can smell the cigarette smoke. The rooms don't feel safe sence the entraces face the parking lot which faces the street! Extremely noisy as well. The room key had to be re-activated […] continously cause it wouldn't work. Make sure you bring your own set of bed sheets, bath towels and pillows. And dont walk bare footed in the rooms!!!!! This place makes the Motel 6 look like the Hilton. It's dirty. Right when I walked into the lobby, it smelled bad. The shower mat is literally made of paper. The towels were slightly larger than dish towels and one of them was stained. There was an assortment of hair swept into a corner next to the bathtub, as well as hair in the bathtub. The previous […] occupants food and drinks were still in the both the fridge and the freezer. I'm not very picky, I've stayed at many a motel, but this place is disgusting. The room heater wasn't working very well, the water pressure was low and the room door was a little open.

We raged the hotel room there it was sweet. Its a heady place to party. We stayed there 2 night for the halloween phish shows in 2010 it was really close to the boardwalk . Like 2 blocks and u couuld smoke in the room!!!! the only schwag part of the experience was the hookers posted up down the street from the holtel.

What a dump! Puke stains on the wall, dirty sheets, crummy bathroom. The place smelled like ammonia and the toiletries were laughable. The bath towels were the size of washcloths and the "bathmat" was a sheet of paper....seriously. The staff was ridiculously rude, waking us up in the morning to "check in" again even after booking 2 nights! The staff […] was looking in our windows and would knock on the door whenever they wanted. I guess there must be a lot of crimes and murders in these rooms so they are just being cautious. I knew what I was getting into. My friend and I neede a cheap place to crash after a concert. That it was... The place is very convenient to tropicana and beach. It was dirty and smelled kinda bad. and there were tons of pimps and hookers all over the place and they were annoying. And im not talkin julia roberts and the funny pimps with cool hats and suits. just average dirtballs that keep asking you for cigarettes. The staff was cordial. The rooms stank of bug spray, gave me a head ache. Could not beat the location outside of the casinos, right next to the Trop.

totally not worth it. went to AC for a long weekend during memorial day weekend (not to gamble the WHOLE time, just to chill, walk around, explore, etc). we picked this place b/c every hotel in the area was jacking up their prices sky high (its highway robbery really). this place was on the cheap end and it was still 4x more a night than it was worth. […] it looked like the norman bates motel. the parking lot was a mess. its like a giant checkerboard, rows of cars 3-4 cars deep. cars are parked on top of each other so its guaranteed to get dinged. they didnt have any of those little 'do not disturb' tags for the doors so every morning the guy would come around and pound on your door yelling through if you need room service. sucks when you get back to your hotel room after the sun comes up. the room was absolutely filthy...i wore my flipflops the entire time. not filthy as in actualy dirt, it just seemed dirty. like as you lay there on the bed you wonder how many other hot sweaty bodies were slobbering all over the sheets. i guess thats the same in any hotel, but this place just seemed gross. i stood in the center of the 2'x2' bathtub trying not to touch the cakey walls or the slimy curtain staring up at the mold colonies on the wall/ceiling. i wasnt thrilled with any areas in AC so i guess the hotel was fitting. The room was right next to the quarter in the tropicana hotal and casino like it said online. clean room could use some new sheets but the cheapest and served its purpose of a place to sleep for the night after gambling and partying.

Staying at this place was a disaster for me. It was such a bad experience I am actually taking time to write this review. I would not recommend this to anyone who is looking for any kind of privacy or who is planning to sleep in late. Management and its related staff were kind enough to prevent this from happening. At around 11am every morning, you […] will be awaken by a guy who changes out the towels…EVEN if you have a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. I was sleeping with the “do not disturb” sign on, the lights off, and the door chained and locked. First there was a knock asking for towel change, I didn’t answer hoping he would go away. When I didn’t answer the knock was louder, I said “no thanks”. He then proceeded to open up the door, and even though the lights were off and the door was chained, I opened up my eyes to actually see this douchebag sticking his head the through the door peering into my room continuing to ask if I wanted towels. He could see me trying to sleep! I was so furious. This happened both days in the exact same manner. After the second night I asked the front desk for a late checkout so I could get an extra hour of sleep until 1pm. I was told the charge would be $30 extra and I said I was fine with that. Not only does the towel man wake me up at 11am, but my phone starts ringing at the 12pm checkout time saying that I needed to come down and pay the $30 in advance if I wanted the extra hour. As I am on the phone another guy opens the door and also sticks his head in past the chain stating I needed to checkout. What a mistake it was to stay at this place. Instead of just charging my card or asking me to pay when I asked for the extra hour, they expect me to get up, get dressed, then pay, so I can squeeze in an extra hour at their precious motel after being woken up via peering heads through a chained and locked door twice?!? Upon check in at this motel, the desk clerk informs me that I must park over at the Tropicana garage. When I asked why, he replied that "drunks" may damage my car. I insisted that I be allowed to park there since I'm paying for the temporary parking. He reluctantly agreed. The light bulb in the bathroom was burned out. Everything else was in order. […] I would not recommend this motel if you have more than one person staying. It's only real asset is that it's right next to the Tropicana and the boardwalk. This motel is affordable and is in a great location. The rooms aren't great, but is ok for a night. The worst part of the motel is the noise level outside. The walls are very thin.

This motel is a classic expample of money making dumpster. If even if you dont care or clean the dumpster, it will still make you money. This motel is in terrible condition, rooms are stinky, bed and sheets are filthy. Comforter and bedsheets in a smoking rroms are full of cigrette burns. If somebody is smoking in the other room, you can smell the stink […] in your rooms. Walls are thin, you can hear everything thats going on in the other room. I guess, this motel is still survining because of its location-one block from the beach, tropicana and other casinos and owners seems to take full advantage of this fact.I, with my wife was in this motel during July 4th weekend. this hotel(dump) was fully booked. I am sure, other poor people like me were also desperate to find a place close to the beach. Parking was a joke. It took us 30min to move my car because it was blocked by other car whose owner left without informing or leaving the keys with the front desk ( yes, you have to leave your car keys with them, in case they need to move other car in front of yours). If you cant find any other place and need just a few hr of sleep and change of clothes, you may consider thiss place. But I wont recommed it even to my enemies. Uzziniet vairāk

This hotel was NOT bad. Don't go into it expecting some luxury casino hotel- that is unrealistic. However, for half the cost of the Trop and the amazing location (across the street from the Trop), it doesn't get much better. The room was clean. It did smell somewhat smoky upon entrance, but it didn't linger. There aren't much luxuries in the bathroom […] as far as soap/ shampoo, but what would you expect? The bed was clean, and there are NO bed bugs contrary to another review. I stayed here for 1 night and everyone I was with was more than satisfied. This hotel gives a new name for DIRTY! my boyfreind and I stayed here and woke up with bed bug bites all over us the next day! The room is old and smells bad, gum on the floor!! Dirty washrags under the sink, PAPER bath mats, floor sticky...just gross. This was the WORST hotel I have EVER stayed at. The rooms are really dirty, the floor had gum on it. The interior is old, smells bad is outdated! The bathroom was falling apart. They give you ONE piece of soap! The Owners are CHEAP and dont care about their hotel or to even keep it up. Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. they were coming down the halls yelling […] checkout time 5 til 11:00 and said that they were going to charge us $10.00 for every 1/2 hour we stayed extra. I have learned my leson, never compromise on money to think you may get a good deal. You get what you pay for. I will from now on only stay at resort hotels or I just wont go end of story!
