Galleria Garden — Houston

The exterior of the Galleria Garden was exceptional. The interior was not. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and there was mildew in the tub caulking. There was dirt in the corners of the bathroom and the carpeting looked as though no one ever got into the edges near the walls. Adding insult to injury, there was no hot water for my shower the following […] morning. The phone had no instructions for how to reach the office. The receipt for the hotel had no phone number. I used my cell phone's directory assistance to get the number and when I called I got a voice mail message stating that it was after hours (10 pm?) and to call back during regular hours. I stayed on the line and got ringing, but no one ever answered. I did not walk to the office because I would have had to dress again and was too tired to do so. For the 1st 30-45 minutes I heard intermittent banging and clanging from the maintenance room behind my bedroom window. Workers appeared to be cleaning large pots and pans. There was no one in the office at 8 am the following morning with whom to register complaints. I would not stay there again, although it was located close to my client. Uzziniet vairāk

this place is really bad. Very worn down facility, very unclean bathroom, dirthy kitchen with food remains in the kitchen, as well as used and dirthy coffe cups.... Absolutely unfriendly staff. I have never stayed in such a bad place and would not recommend it.

Could be an OK place to stay for a guy but definitely not for a single lady. Cleanliness issues. Environment/security concerns. Had to walk away and have requested a refund. Stayed at Staybridge Hotel one block north.

This is not a hotel, while it is being billed as such, this is an apartment community. The resident's who stay here are very nice - and the staff is very nice - but it's not a hotel. I had to buy a blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner. And, the room was never cleaned and I was there from a Wednesday through Saturday. They apparently only have enough staff […] to clean the rooms that are needed for new occupants - but not a daily cleaning staff like most hotels have. Uzziniet vairāk

I made the mistake of staying here, since I had business in the area. I was first given a used room; bed was obviously slept in, towels on the floor. I was then given a different room, which had not been used, however had all old, worn, and uncomfortable furniture. People were making a racket outside my room all night, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, […] and there was some sort of a cricket-looking bug infestation in the dining area and bathroom. The bed sheets themselves were dusty and caused me some allergic reaction, and possibly had bed bugs (either that or they were just really itchy). Additionally, there were either gnats or mosquitoes that buzzed all night. The air conditioning was extremely noisy; to compensate I had to crank the room's AC during the day, and turn it off at night. All and all, a terrible experience I do not care to ever repeat. I believe this is an apt complex coverted into a hotel. The exterior is a bit misleading. The interior of the rooms have all been remodelled and are nice if you want to feel like you are not in a hotel. You have a full sized fridge, and appliances

The hotel is located in a decent area and relatively close to the Galleria. It is a little dated in the furnishings and did not offer wi-fi or breakfast options. The bed was creaky, stiff and uncomfortable. The overall cleanliness was pretty good. By and large the Hotel and furnishings were just dated and the amenities other than an outdoor pool were […] non-existent. Buen servicio y en una zona buena

The Hotel is close to Galleria (15min afoot). The swimming pool is nice. About the room, it is very big! And so comfortable. AC automatic. Full kitchen. It was a pleasure. There is also a parking behind the hotel. Very practical!
