Hotel Expo Verona — Villafranca di Verona

Nice Hotel. Modern, Clean, comfortable. Situated near an industrial Estate with no excessive noise. It is a good 20 minutes via taxi to the town, there is a free shuttle service. Our request via the internet did not get through from the USA, so we had to pay 16 Euros for a taxi when we were taken to the hotel and no reimbursement was offered. We stayed […] here to go to the opera (tickets can be purchased there, suggestion do like the natives and go for the cheap stone seats 19 Euros. We were right by the stage great view at the Arena di Verona. Taxi back at midnight and well lit pavements and plenty of cars and people about. The Restaurant was very good. The Waiters spoke English and was friendly and attentive. The Staff did not speak much English but tried. Luisa, the shuttle car driver was very helpful pointed out places of interest. modern rooms, clean, attentive reception. Beautiful lobby. Don't stay here unless you have a car and a GPS. Quite a drive to town-about 15 minutes, and impossible to find without GPS. Otherwise perfect.

The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. The staff were helpful, but I would not recommend this hotel if you don't have your own transport. The website advertised a shuttle bus to the city, but even though we enquired about how to get into the city using no one mentioned this bus until I asked. I was then told that it leaves and 10am […] and returns at 6pm, which is very restrictive. There is a public bus which hardly runs and the only transport is taxi which is 35euros each way. This put a real dapper on our trip. This hotel would be great if it was just a bit easier to get into the city, but unfortunately it is not. Uzziniet vairāk

Loved the hotel. Room was very nice and modern. Our shower had a leak that made the floor wet when showering. We brought it to the attention of the hotel staff. The only down side is location. We had to take the bus to and from the hotel to get to Verona. We did not realize it was so far removed. It would be a plus if the hotel offered shuttle service […] to Verona twice in the morning and twice in the evenings. Additionally, WiFi service should be available 24 hours. schönes, modernes Hotel an zentraler Lage, allerdings ist man auf ein Auto angewiesen, Verona und der Gardasee sind je in ca. 15 Autominuten erreichbar, gutes, für italienische Verhältnisse reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, kostenloser Internet-Zugang (Wireless), kostenlose Fahrradvermietung, Tiefgarage für das Auto, wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem […] Hotel und kommen gerne wieder. Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich sehr schön, wenn man es betritt. Es liegt jedoch in einem Gewerbegebiet, so auch neben einem Autoverwerter, der laut zu hören ist, wenn man das Fenster offen stehen hat. Das Fenster selber ist technisch so angepasst, dass es nur einen kleinen Spalt geöffnet werden kann. Für uns war der Aufenthalt alles andere als angenehm, […] da wir mit dem Zimmer zur Südseite lagen und trotz der hohen Temperaturen und der intensiven Sonneneinstrahlung die Klimaanlage nicht eingeschaltet wurde. Aufgrund der Sonneneinstrahlung war die Temperatur ständig auf gefühlten 26 Grad. Dieses führte dazu, dass man auch nachts nicht durchschlafen konnte, weil man aufgrund der Wärme aufwachte. Die sonst netten Personen an der Rezeption schien das überhaupt nicht zu interessieren. Auf die Nachfrage hin, ob die Klimaanlage nicht aktiviert werden kann, bekamen wir immer nur die Antwort, es sei keine Saison für Klimaanlagen. Es war auch niemand bereit, sich das im Zimmer mal anzusehen. Wann man also die Klimaanlagen-Saison am Kalender festmacht und nicht auf die aktuellen Temperaturen eingehen will, halte ich das für nicht angemessen, besonders wenn die Architektur des Zimmers ein Öffnen der Fenster nicht berücksichtigt. Daher stehe ich der Verständnislosigkeit des Hotelmanagers absolut verständnislos gegenüber und kann auch das Hotel, trotz guter Ausstattung, nicht weiter empfehlen. Uzziniet vairāk

Hotellet var meget moderne, lækre nye møbler og badeværelse. gratis wi-fi på værelset. Hotellet ligger dog langt væk fra både Gardasøen og Verona-by (begge dele ca. 20-30 min i bil) men der er glimrende barer og restauranter i den nærliggende lille by Villafranca. Hvis man vil hertil er det muligt at låne cykler gratis på hotellet, på cykel er der ca. […] 5-10 min til Villafranca. Alt i alt et dejligt ophold som bestemt kan anbefales. Uzziniet vairāk

This hotel is bit outside of Verona itself but you get a lot for your money. Nice, new, clean building, spacious, air-conditioned room, free gym & jacuzzi 24/7, English speaking staff... The only minus was that you need to request user name and password for the free wi-fi, and for us it only worked for 1-2 minutes however we didn't bother to complain […] and get it fixed. We stayed only for one night but I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you have a car or arrive by plane (close to airport). Uzziniet vairāk

Sono stato all'hotel Hotelissimi una sola notte, ma posso assicurare che si tratta di un ottimo hotel. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e competente sia nell'illustrare i servizi dell'hotel sia nello svolgere le proprie mansioni. Ho anche provato la colazione in camera! Fantastica e abbondante... peccato per il, piccolo, sovrapprezzo... L'albergo si […] trova un po' fuori dal centro di Francavilla, però è sulla strada per Verona ed è veramente vicino all'uscita dell'A22 di Sommacampagna; in poche parole una buona location, anche se forse si trova un po' troppo vicino all'aeroporto (comunque fuori dalle rotte di atterraggio e decollo degli aerei) e nel mezzo di una zona industriale che proprio bellissima non è. flot hotel. perfekt udgangspunkt til et ophold i nærheden af verona, hvis man har egen bil med. omgivelserne er ikke så inspirende, da hotellet ligger i yderkanten af byen.

Siamo fermati una notte con mio marito, perche il nostro aereo arrivava tardi . E stato comodo come hotel, ma abbiamo impiegato un po di tempo a trovarlo, nonostante la vicinanza all'' aeroporto.Personale gentile.
