The aspect of our stay that we were disappointed was the officiousness of some staff members compared to our last stay when we found all staff exceptionally friendly,courteous and efficient without any sign of officiousness, however we did appreciate the consideration and helpfulness of the Conceiges. We were embarrassed when dining with friends to […] be told that we did not have an account and had to pay for our meal immediately. This occurred because we were not asked to present our credit card on checking in. We were also requested at 11.30pm to go down to th bar to pay a bar account. This could have been avoided if our credit card had been requested. Our other concern was that the fridge was not cold enough to keep our milk fresh which was attended to when we asked. Absolutely the BEST service I have ever encountered at a hotel. After a six week trip with two kids and a handicapped mother, a week here was wonderful. Staff were amazing. Location fantastic. My only criticism is that the beds were very hard. This may suit many people though, so it's a personal thing. Only spent one night here on a room only basis so did not come into contact with many staff but those I did speak to we're great. I was given a complimentary upgrade which was lovely and Ny only gripe was that the rooms are warm, even with the air on on full

Although rooms are small they are adequate for overnight stays. Reception trainee staff are very polite and helpful. We upgraded for a small fee so that we were facing Westminster and the Eye. Breakfast only £10 ea which is a bargain.

The heating in my room was not working. I had to call various times before the engineer eventually came to my room, spent one hour working on it, only to tell me it couldn't be fixed and leaving me a small heater instead. When i complained they half-heartedly offered me an upgrade next time but did not follow up on it. Excellent location for Waterloo Station, we were there for London Marathon. Expected another sink to wash dishes as it quoted kitchenette, not very hygienic having to do it in the bathroom!!

Thumbs up for this hotel, which was within walking distance of some major stops (London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, etc...). The interior and the room were very clean, and the shower was quite sizeable - an American luxury that can be hard to come by on the other side of the pond. Catered room service was AMAZING, and available 24 hours a day, […] which was great news for a weary traveler like me who fell asleep before getting dinner and awoke at 3am absolutely starving. One thing to make sure you ask for, though, is a room with an outside view. My room had an interior view, which was lit by the skylight and overlooked the 2nd floor restaurant. It felt like living in a fish bowl, though, since everyone on the elevators or coming down the adjacent hall could see clearly into the room unless the shades were drawn. Then when I drew the shades, it felt like I was trapped in a windowless cage. It also made it difficult to tell what the weather was like prior to departing for the day. Nice hotel, great location as very close to lots of attractions. Room was very clean and a good size with separate living and sleeping areas, as well as a small 'kitchen' like area. Children's bed wasn't made up when we arrived, but was sorted out quickly when brought to their attention. The only gripe was that the room felt too hot and the temperature […] control in the room seemed to make no difference (and the weather was not hot). After an uncomfortable first night, we spoke to front desk staff who told us that the air con was centrally controlled and that whilst they tried to provide an acceptable temperature, they could adjust it by 5 degrees or so for individual rooms when asked. They said they would do this, but it made little, if any difference. When we complained that the room was still too hot, they sent us a fan. This helped a bit, but I feel that for the price, the air con should have been working or set to a reasonable temperature (I wonder if the centrally controlled air con is a way of keeping their bills down?). Parking very expensive, no customer car park, the room is not what you think you would be getting, the room we stayed in was noisy from the car wash guys which was out wonderful view :( there was a problem with the tabs pipes as there was a screaming sound every 5mins from the pipes. The Manager tried his best to allocate us to other different rooms […] but, still the standard of the rooms offered was poor, after getting to the hotel late cause we had finish work in Bristol then drove straight to the hotel it was 10.30 then was not happy with the room, he could had at least gave up a upgrade as it was late already. Great location! Very clean and modern rooms. Great value! The layout of the room will give you a in fact two rooms. The kitchen facility is great for family who needs to prepare their own food. The hotel exceeded our expectations, the room was lovely, great view and the location of the hotel was perfect, as close to lots of places of interest , as well as all the bars and restaurants along Southbank. Would definitely recommend it and hope to stay again sometime.

Had a two night stay for theatre and sight seeing. We chose to have breakfast in the room which was very convenient for us. All staff very pleasant, room lovely with no noise at all from Waterloo station. Would stay again.

Hotel centrally located. Staff efficient and helpful. Good variety at breakfast - great scrambled eggs - not rubbery! - but breakfast very busy. TV wasn't working in the room but I reported it and on my return it was fixed. Took a bath one evening and found it hard to get water sufficiently hot. Otherwise very comfortable.

Great hotel on the doorstep to everything you want to visit/see in Central London, handy for buses to take you swiftly into the west end. Excellent quality fittings and fittings in hotel room which was really like a mini flat with 2 Tvs, kitchnette with super crockery, glasses, microwace and coffee maker. Very attractive, well designed fitted furniture […] in the lounge area and a lovely white leather(ette?) sofa. Comfy bed, rooms surprisingly quiet given the location. Lovely bathroom with big shower and separate bath. Nice touch were the weighing scales. It was worth paying the room service charge of £3 to get breakfast in your room rather than join the melee in the restaurant. It arrived on time, and was very fresh and hot. I went for a long w/end in January and paid a very reasonable rate for my room which included the breakfast. Stadd were all considerate and very polite and welcoming. This superbly located and modern hotel (right by Waterloo and the London Eye) is great for families - the family suites are not quite as big as the cleverly shot photos suggest, but they are still a very imaginative layout for families giving some privacy without needing two rooms. We stayed for over a week and enjoy it. Friendly, helpful, close to train station and close to many attractions. However, the first night we stay there were some mechanical noise but they change the room for us the next day. Overall we enjoy the stay and would go back again.

The hotel room was really warm and comfortable despite freezing temperatures outside!! Breakfast was very good, the fried egg queue held proceedings up -might be a good idea to have a quantity already made!!
