Hotel lobby very nice with large windows, nice mountain resort-type furniture. Rooms nice size, green local granit in bathrooms, outdoor heated pool is beautiful.

I loved this hotel! Every single employee was exceptionally helpful and very friendly. The rooms are lovely, with high ceilings, fantastic bathrooms, gorgeous views on all sides, and the softest sheets I've ever slept in. I want some of these Comphy Company sheets for my own bed! The pool and hot tubs are accessible year-round with an indoor entry canal […] leading to the outdoor pool. Our favorite item off the menu was the cheese plate, which had very unusual accompianments and delicious artisan cheeses. The only drawback was that the rooms weren't very well insulated. In a last minute effort to get away I booked 2 nights at the Stowe Mountian Lodge. I don't consider resorts to be my cup of tea but was so tired I just did it. The place was surprisingly nice as was the staff. Over all I highly recommend this place and would definitely go back.

This hotel is stunning. The room was great (had the one with the kitchenette) - very deep bath , fireplace - lovely. The outdoor pool is great for 'apres ski' (jacuzzi's are hot / pool is 'warm', 'ski valet' a great idea...lovely classical music as you walk around the corridors, bell boys / valet staff can;t do enough for you. We found the accomondations of the Stowe Mountain Lodge to be wonderful. There is no better place to stay when sking at Stowe. Only true ski in ski out. The facilities at the hotel were terrific. Ski valet was a nice touch. Great to just call ahead to have your skis waiting for outside, and when your done to just leave them for the valet to hold them […] till you call again the next morning. Valet parking is a nice touch , but would prefer to just have a parking lot to be able to go to and from when I desired. Food is delicious, but pricey. My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon at the Stowe Mountain Lodge. This hotel is located near Mt. Mansfield in a gorgeous setting overlooking the mountains. We can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is first-rate, the staff is kind and very helpful. They went out of their way to help us. Our visit to the lodge was our first trip away from our little lady. I can not say anything negative about the service, setting, room or facilities. I can only imagine how stunning the lodge would be in the winter. The drive to other points of interest in the area isn't short but they have a great restaurant to keep you close.

I hear they are replacing the chef for the ski season. That's good. Having fried chicken (tepid) and watermelon (wilted) at a premium price on the menu in October seemed a little weird for a restaurant claiming it used local sustainable products.

Have stayed in Stowe many times, but never have experienced such comfort and ameneties as at the Stowe Mountain Lodge. We were made at once to feel at home and welcomed. The hotel seems to be fairly modest for the price. The room is poorly equipped. Only one club chair, so the other person has to either lay on the bed or use the very uncomfortable desk chair. In the brochure hotel offers in room bar, but in fact what it means is an empty fridge...Even a bottle of mineral water was nowhere to be found. The hotel housekeeping […] was waking us up every morning at 8:30 am eager to clean up the room ( we stayed 2 nights), so no chance for a relaxing morning there. No " Please do not disturb" signs, so prepare to be disturbed. Hotel requires mandatory valet parking for $18 a day even though it is surrounded by acres of land..So, whether you want to or not, you have to wait for your car at least 10 minutes and tip the valet boys every time you want to use your car. This was our first trip to Stowe and we certainly will be back, however not to this place. Everything was great, except service was slow in bar, restaurant, and waiting to get coffee/coffee pot and washclothes in the room.

We travel a great deal for work and leisure and booked this hotel as a Thanksgiving treat. The room was a very average room for the stars, was a million miles from the entrance and had a beautiful view of a car park.........really not what we expected at the price point. The shower didn't work properly, we were told that we couldn't be moved but subsequently […] found out that the hotel was not full. The shower was not fixed during our stay. The public areas of the hotel and the staff are delightful but our room was a big disappointment and our overall feeling was that the stay was very overpriced. We have stayed in far nicer rooms in equally nice hotels for far less. Compulsory valet parking only added to the cost, not really sure why this is necessary in such a rural location. This hotel is asthetically pleasing, from the lobby to the rooms however, the service, has much to be desired. They are overbearing when you enter making each guest valet, not giving them an option to take their own bags with a dolly to the rooms, however ask which hikes to go to or other important factors like restaurants they have no clue or little […] help. They point everyone at the same two hikes and restaurants. Location is off the beaten path from Main Street. Need to drive everywhere. Not my first choice in Stowe Uzziniet vairāk

Loved the Stowe Mountain Lodge. Wish I had stayed longer. It's absolutely gorgeous and the service was outstanding.

This is one of the best stays I have had ANYWHERE. My husband and I have traveled alot and enjoyed many 5 star resorts but this was truly one of our top 3. The staff is fabulous, very good food ,outstanding bartenders.

Every thing was perfect !

The area is beautiful and the resort is as well...we had some issues but all were resolved to our liking with pleasure..expect things to be slower than you are used to, but since you are so relaxed, you won't mind! The only exception to this is the car valet and luggage help...they were speedy!

My room was wonderful, clean and top of the line. Loved the spacious bathroom and the views of the mountain were great. Really enjoyed the fireplace even in summer. I did not like paying for parking. I feel that should always be part if your price for lodging, but other than that everything else was great. comfortable escape from the city, any time of year!

The lodge is at an amazing location at the base of the ski area. We were there in summer and there were a lot of activities for the kids. The rooms were nice, especially the bathroom with a separate shower and tub, with marble accents. Breakfast food in the restaurant was great. Fantastic place to stay. Everyone is extremely friendly and kind. The staff was very professional. The location is outstanding, the pool was heated to 87F everyday, kid friendly, pet friendly, the spa was a little expensive but its a great spa and catered to children so that I could get the full treatment. The room was a bit small but very comfortable […] and loved having the little kitchen in the room. Nothing bad to say about the SML - a fantastic hotel with gorgeous mountain views, pristine rooms, and exceptional staff. We spent our days by the pool and our nights in the village. We can't wait to go back. Also - thanks to hotels.com for getting us a rate that was lower than an advertised by the hotel itself!

Hotel is new spacious and beautiful. The bell hop service and front desk was excellent. The food was not good. Super expensive, we had lunch in the room for 2 , we each had a salad and I ordered a hot chicken sandwich and a bottle of water. That came toMore then I spent on lunch for 6 people the day before at pie in the sky. The sandwich was not at […] all like the menu description, was chicken breast and bread that's it. Everything from the friendly and efficient service to beautiful rooms, spa, and restaurant (with top notch food) was perfect.

The only think I would change is the inability to access your own vehicle. I understand the diamond status of your facility, however, this can be inconvenint at times. This option should at least be optional, or at least granted if one should ask.

Our stay at Stowe mountain lodge was just awesome. The service was great and every employee was very warm and courteous. The staff were very friendly and the best thing was they did not seem fake in any way; very authentically friendly. We LOVED this place! Went for what was supposed to be a weekend of hiking and outdoor activities but got curbsided by terrential rains and thunderstorms. This was a superior hotel -- everything was wonderful from our arrival to departure. The rooms, food, friendliness of the staff, amenities were nothing but the best.

Our brief stay at the Lodge was perfect in good and bad weather! Among our favorites were the world class skiing, heated outdoor pool in beautiful and peaceful setting and the spa facilities. Room had no water glasses. Valet got my friend's truck stuck. No coffee set out in the morning before the restaurant opened which was always 5-10 minutes late. Also had to work our way around private parties that would take over public spaces. Great property and location but would stay elsewhere for sure next time

The service was friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful with comfy bedding and the bathrooms have great soaker tubs. My favorite part was the inside/outside pool that's heated to 90 degrees all year round. Super convenient to skiing and snowboarding. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this hotel.

This is a must stay if in Stowe! We went to the Hour Glass for a drink and to watch the sunset and stayed for two days! Didn't want to go home - and still miss the beauty!! This place has left nothing out! Top Notch with excellent customer service from beginning to end. We stayed in both the basic room and the suites - both were equally comfortable […] and top notch. Robes are super comfy, fireplace(s) in lobby are cozy and the atmosphere is fantastic. Walk over the the restaurant at the golf course as an alternative to Solitice for dinner or lunch. Great people and great food. I can not begin to describe the hot tub and heated pool! Worth every penny in my opinion. Try the maple leaf candies too! Can't wait to visit again. BUT use Hotels.com - their prices are much better! Only negative - Cup of to go coffee is $4.00 per cup. :-( Did I mention I miss Stowe? Oh yeah, the on site Performing Arts Center - concerts! Check out their schedule. I am seriously considering returning in the spring for the May 25th "A night with Queen" !!! Try the Turkey, Canberry Apple sandwhich in Hour Glass. Go on a tour with Lauren from the Business Center. It is worth the no pressure tour of what I hope will someday soon be a condo I own!!!!
