service was poor from checkin to checkout, including rectifying errors re: charges for minibar and water. business center smelled like urine - and front desk was unphased. location was totally out of the way. BUT - room itself was fine.

Staff was very friendly when I arrived. I had reserved a corner suite but they had sold out. They upgraded me to the next level. Customer service is always good at the W.

Not a design that we cared for...very contemporary, had only a Sshi Restaurant, rooms were clean, but small. Bathroom has no tub, and lacks some privacy (due to noise transmission) in the toilet room. Really a hotel for younger, more hip people than we are. Back to the Ritz Carlton for us.

Great location in downtown scottsdale - several small issues- no free Internet in the rooms, only the common areas- no pay phones(nice to have if u are from out of the country and don't have international calling from your cell) - bad advice re: airport taxi- they recommend their limo service for $36- a regular taxi will charge about $20- they tell […] u a regular taxi is $40 and it takes a 1/2 hour to come- it took 5 minutes!! ...and at W Scottsdale, it was worth every penny! Originally booked a standard room, which was beautiful. My only complaint would be that it had no bathtub...only a shower. Apparently, bathtubs are only for suites. Still, the room was unique and spacious. We upgraded to a suite after the first night since we wanted to experience the bathtub in the living […] room. It was double the price, but worth every penny. The suite is large, perfectly situated with a private porch and a skip away from the pool, which even in December, was perfect temperature to swim in. HOWEVER there is NO Jacuzzi anywhere on the property which is a big disappointment. The concierge accommodated EVERY request…reservations at restaurants, etc...and they did it with a smile. Every person we encountered was professional, friendly, and no request was too ridiculous to make our stay one of a kind… One other complaint I have however is that I originally booked a king room, pre-paid on Hotels.com...I called the day of arrival to switch to a room with 2 double beds. I was told by the receptionist that since I prepaid and it was non-refundable, the only way to do that was to cancel my first reservation ($600 bucks), and then re-book a double for $600-800. That was a little ridiculous for her to even suggest that option. She was rude and obviously not customer service oriented. She should probably be moved to a position with limited customer contact. Otherwise, Thanks W Scottsdale! My friends and I loved the room, the gym, the lounge, and the decor. And of course...you can't beat the location. But please consider getting a Jacuzzi in that AWESOME pool area of yours!! Uzziniet vairāk

Walking distance to Scottsdales nicest clubs

Absolutely perfect for impressing the ladies from out of town. The pool is amazing (and open 24 hours). Restaurant is excellent and the staff was accommodating throughout the stay. Room service had all of our crazy requests, very impressed!

Hotel and pool staff were great! Fun atmosphere and something is always going on at the hotel. Local restaurants and bars were hopping and didn't need a rental car at all! Car from airport to hotel and back was the only transportation I needed. Friends and I will be coming back. PERFECT place for a weekend get away. It's like Vegas lite! Had great time & stay at this property, very modern and pool area was very festive, reminded me of vegas.

The W is a beautiful and hip hotel and was perfect for our weekend get away. The location in Scottsdale was perfect for shopping, dining, and nightlife all within walking distance. Five of us girls decided to stay at the W for a bachelorette party this past weekend, and we had a great time! The service at the hotel was fantastic- Jesse checked us in to our rooms and quickly moved us to a more appropriate room that opened up to the Zen garden. It was great because the bell hop showed us the two rooms right away, and once we made […] our choice he went back to the front desk to get the new keys printed so we didn't have to. Our room was really modern and spacious and came fully stocked with gorgeous Bliss products, toothbrushes, bath salts, everything and anything that we could possibly need. We had just settled in when there was a knock on the door, Dawn Burger (who had set us up in a cabana for the following day) had surprised us by sending over a bottle of champagne to celebrate the bride to be! She had included a really cute hand written note to welcome us to the W. It was a really nice touch and much appreciated. Also, when I ordered two Diet Cokes up to the room, they brought a third one "on the house". There were lots of little touches like that throughout our stay to make us feel special. That night we dined at Sushi Roku, the food was AMAZING, as well as the atmosphere. (It was actually so good that we ate there three times in 24 hours, haha!) They also surprised us with a complimentary dessert with a huge sparkler for our bride. After dinner we hit the pool deck which turns into a cool lounge scene at night. It's got a really cool vibe and lots of beautiful people. The next day the boys at the front gave us a complimentary ride to the mall and a pick up in the Acura, which was great. It's only an eight minute walk, but at 110 degrees we would've melted. Having the Acura there is a nice touch since I would have felt ridiculous calling a taxi for such a short ride. I was looking for a nice break to get away with my girlfriend and thought that the W would be somewhere we'd enjoy seeing is that we're in our 20's. The hotel is beautiful but VOID of any customer service with the exception of 1 person at the valet. In almost every experience interacting with the staff just impressed upon us how important they were […] and too busy to do their job. The front desk, bartenders, and most of the valet wouldn't give us the time of day and were continually complaining. The pool was a disappointment as a hotel guest - they promote it as a club which is great until you realize there's nowhere for you to relax - nice amenity that is for paying hotel guests. We traveled here for my bacheloret party, this was the most amazing time my friends and I have ever had together.The hotel staff were great. They were extremely friendly and helpful. They loved their jobs and did everything to make us happy. We loved the pool and all the hotel had to offer. We have decided to make this an annual trip!!

I planned a relaxing trip to Scottsdale decided to book at the W, to spend a little R&R poolside. Well the W should be inform guests that this in not what they are in store for. There were no seats at the pool, then the pool turns into a club at night , so don't expect to go swimming at night. It ws wall to wall college kids. The rooms are extremely small, and the decor is cold. The lack of a separate bathroom, and not door was dissappointing. However, the location and service were superb.

The hotel is really beautiful. But I came from Minneapolis to relax and go to the spa. That can't happen on the weekends. They have a "Dress to Impress" pool party until 2:00am! The music was very loud and you can't sleep if you wanted to. This really is not fair to people who would like to get a restful night sleep! They really need to warn people. […] Also the music starts at the pool at 9:00am! It's very loud. NO SLEEPING at this hotel! I would be really careful and ask about the parties on the weekend. W Hotel Scottsdale was a great stay for a great price. The Staff was friendly, and helpful, and amenities were fabulous.

This is a young, energetic, chic hotel. It's right across the street from Fashion Square Mall. Great pool, bar, and service! I will be going back.

Hotel is beautiful. Overall experience was great. Only complaint was our room went several days without being cleaned. Basically if you are in the room when they first attempt to clean, that's it for the day. They won't try again unless you chase somebody down. Other than that the place is wonderful.

Tophotel , was bijna gloednieuw . Goede ligging en leuk design . Hebben een onverwachte upgrade ontvangen . Gingen van een deluxe kamer naar een suite . Echt klasse die suite . Hebben ook gebruik gemaakt van de on site wellnessshop en heeben gegeten in een on site klasse restaurant . Overall prima service en een aanrader .
