Hotel Grillo — Assemini

Excellent hotel with friendly , helpful staff, excellent gym and good, well cared for rooms. In a suburb of Cagliari near airport and is an excellent first base for a stay in Sardinia. Has good restaurant and there are a couple of good restaurants nearby.

Went here for mini honeymoon, main one next year. Stayed 5 nights. Found hotel ok, only 10 mins from Cagliari airport. When arrived, was not impressed by standard room but was given upgrade - new room much better, not quite 4* but cosy and clean. Room had TV, some satellite channels, sofas, small balcony, very comfy large bed, small hydromassage bath […] and very basic hairdryer in bathroom. Hotel has nice swimming pool and gym. Does a sauna, but the hotel have not been given the license to open this yet. The hotel is also next to a railway line and the airport - can be a little noisy. Found all staff to be very friendly, particularly those on reception who spoke good English too. They would advise us on good beaches to go to, such as Chia and Villasimius (both a good hour´s drive away). There were other beaches only 20 mins away but we wanted to go to the better ones. Also went in Cagliari, about 20mins away, not too much to see but gave us something different to do other than going to the beach. Ate in hotel 2 nights as only a couple of other restaurants in the area - a nice pizzeria a few doors along and a little italian up the road. Neighbourhood seemed quite safe, though not many shops or restaurants around. Hotel food very good, reasonably priced too. Waiters Ignaccio and Luca were excellent. Breakfasts were basic continential, quite nice, ended at 9.30am. Overall, would say that this hotel is ideal for a stop over for the airport or business meeting, but not for tourists. The staff made the stay pleasant but the hotel was more like a 3* than 4* and we probabaly wouldn´t go back again for our holiday break. Uzziniet vairāk

Overall this Hotel was satisfactory the room was clean and comfortable , some of electic switches were broken, still worken but concerning . the air conditioning was inaficient making roovery hot but this was August the hotest time temps arond 30 degrees. breakfast ok - continental, resturant closed for August for annual hols. Avevo prenotato una doppia non fumatori, ma la stanza era impregnata di fumo. Ci siamo subito rivolti alla reception, ma ci è stato detto che tutte le camere della stessa categoria erano occupate. Hanno così rimediato dandoci una stanza nel complesso carina ma con finestra direttamente sui binari ed il rumore dei treni la mattina presto non è dei più […] piacevoli. Uzziniet vairāk

La qualité de la réception est très professionnelle. La compétence et la gentillesse de l'accueil sont d'entrée de jeu le premier élément de confort : en effet à peine arrivé , on s'y sent bien. Le décor de l'ensemble hôtelier est plutôt néo classique et superbement bien entretenu. Le piano bar un peu déserté à cause de l'absence du musicien, c'est […] dommage car on y passerait un bon moment de détente à l'apéritif avant d'aller dîner dans la belle salle de restaurant, puis autour d'un cocktail en fin de soirée. Le personnel est très agréable, et je tiens à saluer particulièrement IGNACIO pour sa gentillesse, son efficacité et son sens du service classe... C'est un pro !!! Je salue également la sympathie naturelle propre aux Sardes notamment au personnel de l'accueil et au personnel qui entretient les chambres le matin...Je leur ai parlé, ils se reconnaîtront ... Je recommande l'Hôtel GRILLO aux clients de tous âges et vous assure que nous y retournerons bientôt. J'ajouterai que la carte du restaurant est superbe pour un rapport qualité /prix extra. Et la cuisine sarde et son vin sont tellement bons... A bientôt, la Sardaigne, magnifique île, et à bientôt Hôtel GRILLO ! Hôtel à recommander, piscine agréable, parking gratuit avec bus pour le centre de Cagliari à quelques mètres, chambres spacieuses et propres, frigo pas trés froid, mais il a au mojns le mérite d'exister! hôtel moderne

Le restaurant de l'hötel prend les congés annuels du 1/08 au 31/08 09 ?? Je ne conseillerai pas cet établissement. pour toutes ces raisons !

Dette er et supert hotel om du bare trenger en overnatting på tur til eller fra flyplassen. Store, fine rom, god mat og deilig basseng!

Hotellet låg alldeles för avsides. Enda fördel, nära till flygplatsen. Hotellet hade pool, en anledning till bokningen nmen poolen var stängd på lördagen när vi kom på grund av ett bröllop på hotellet. På söndagen serverades ingenting förutom frukost och det mesta var stängt i byn. Frukosten var av mellanklass.
