Sokha Beach Resort — Sihanoukville

bechfront, narrow beach, warm water, plenty of shade. lots of lounge chairs at pool and beach. Lots of bar and restaurant choices. All expensive. the food is ok. Staff are attentive and there is a good choice at the breakfast buffet.

Sokha Beach Hotel is definitely the best hotel in Sihanoukville, although it's pricy. The location is perfect: a white private beach with plenty of couches (probably the only clean beach in the neighborhood), just minutes to walk to Serendipity Beach and the bars of Ochheuteal Beach. The swimming pools are really nice, as well as the rooms. Good service […] and the breakfast is a highlight for itself. The roomrates are high, as well as the food and drink prices. Positives: After a 3-week cycling trip, this was a nice, clean, relaxing finish. I'd call it 4-star rather than 5-star. Nice, clean, quiet, big breakfast buffet, the beach was nice. You can walk or ride a bike to town. The other beach areas are more fun, but it's nice to retreat to a quiet, safe hotel after a party night out. Negatives: No one on the […] staff could help me make a toll-free international call, but they all made good attempts to find out. This was the only place I saw in Cambodia where the staff weren't readily smiling or friendly. I don't think it's a reflection of the Cambodians but rather a reflection of the guests who seem to think being rude and unfriendly is the norm. Had I known there was a casino on site, I wouldn't have stayed here. It brings a different clientele which contributed to the problem. However, whenever I'd speak a few words of Khmer, the staff would immediately smile, teach me new words, and remember me when I came through the lobby. Please don't be rude to the staff. Cambodia's one of the friendliest countries I've ever visited and I'd hate them to get the impression that all foreigners are rude, demanding, unsmiling, and Speedo-clad. Uzziniet vairāk

My family and I had a great time at Sokha. We especially enjoyed the private beach and very clean swimming pool! We'll definitely stay here again during our next trip to Cambodia.

The standard is overall good, but does perhaps not live up to its 5-stars all the way. The beach is definitively the best in Sihanoukville, calm, clean, close to the hotel and beautiful, so if beach i you're #1 priority this is the place. The staff was certainly friendly, but maybe not always the most competent. The fitness center was better than […] expected as it contained several cardio machines (from Technogym and Concept) and both indoor and outdoor strength equipment. The spa was very relaxed, pleasant and the treatments are the best in town, but probably not so much better that they are worth about triple the price in town. The biggest downside of the hotel is by far the food. In our four days we only had two meals that were not down right awful. We booked the Sokha Beach Hotel to relax for a couple of days after 2 weeks of traveling around Cambodia. We were lucky to get an upgrade and enjoyed our beach view. The hotel is very well maintained and the 2 restaurants serve very nice food (at resort prices). The breakfast is great too! The tranportation services the hotel offers are ridiculously […] expensive so you are better off organizing your own transport. The beach is nice and private although we saw quite a few jellyfish. This hotel is great if you want to get away from it all and want to lay on the beach reading a book, have a message and a sauna or just relax by the pool. The beach if gorgeous and the staff bring drinks and food to your lounger which is a nice touch. The total lack of hecklers on the beach is great. The staff are very helpful although it doesn't seem […] to come naturally to them. The facilities and rooms are as you would expect although not totally up to western standards. Expect to pay 5-10 times more for food and drink than you would on the tourist beaches. If you do want a bit of atmosphere they run a free shuttle to serendipity beach and tuk tuk back is very reasonable. Wir haben in dem angeblichen Luxusresort eine Suite gebucht. Das war ein riesen Fehler. Türen sind nicht gegen Schall isoliert. Wurden schon um 06.00h von schreienden Kindern und lautem Dienstpersonal geweckt. Der Wasserdruck in der Dousche ist sehr spärlich und reicht nicht zum Haare waschen. Am Samstagabend haben wir uns zum spezial Seafooddiner angemeldet.Kostet […] auch eine Kleinigkeit. Alle haben sich, wie es sich gehört in so einem Luxusresort, in Abendrobe gekleidet. Leider haben das einige Gäste ignoriert und kamen in Shorts und wiederlichen Trägershirts. Niemand vom Personal, geschweige der Manager hat dies Gäste auf dieses NO GO aufmerksam gemacht. Fantastisk dejligt hotel og servicemindet personale. Dejlig laekker og boernvenlig strand. Store gode vaerelser, lidt slidte men ikke noget der skaender indtrykket. Acceptabelt prisniveau, dog ikke egnet til budgetferie. Fin spa, pool og legeplads. Lidt lang og forholdsvis dyr hoteltransport fra lufthavnen. 310$ t/r. 这是一家很不错的酒店，有私家海滩和一个很漂亮的泳池，很安静，食物也很好吃，房间也干净，空调很好，但是房间的地板好像不是每天打扫，桌子也不擦，只是更换毛巾和洗漱用品。

Красивый отель с шикарным пляжем и территорией. Отличные номера, недалеко до города - пешком 15 минут, тук4-тук 2 US, но есть и бесплатные шаттлы, что весьма удобно. Хорош для отдыха с детьми.

Fasilitetene utendørs er meget bra. Rommene er slitte og gulvene er uhygieniske. Sengene er bra. Renhold veldig variert. Beliggenhet og strand er meget bra. Kaldt vann i bassenget, derfor ble ikke poolbar brukt. Veldig dyrt å bo og spise her, men 5 min med tuk-tuk til nærmeste restaurantgate med god og rimelig mat. Deluxe-rom har utsikt mot bassenget […] og får sol på balkongen, men deluxe-rom er akurat like som premium som vender bort fra bassenget. Gros hôtel très agréable, mais sans "cachet" typique Khmère. Assez usine à touriste, mais bonnes prestations d'ensemble. Très piscines et surtout plages privées superbes (un peu ghetto de luxe). Cependant, prestations d'un bon 3 étoiles français). Très bon petit déjeuner...

Hotel masivo que no permite tener un ambiente de playa idílica. Faltan tumbonas en la playa y el servicio se parece mas a la policía secreta. Lo mejor su ubicación en playa segura pero merece la pena ir a Sihanoukville.????

酒店整体不错，环境优雅舒适，亮点是有独立的私人海滩，沙滩没有礁石、贝壳很平整，很适合海边冲浪、戏水，海水颜色一般。唯一不足是房间隔音效果不是很好，楼上房客的高跟鞋让人不得清净，后投诉后有所好转。

suberbe situation et très bel hotel restaurant lemongrass parfait au bord de l'eau restaurant lotus toujours vide et déprimant à supprimer il manque un bar vivant près du hall où les clients pourraient se retrouver prix trop chers au restaurant buffet

L'hôtel est classé comme étant un 5 étoiles. Il est sûr que le hall d'accueil pourrait laisser supposer que les 5 étoiles sont méritées. Malheureusement, dès l'accès à la chambre, le niveau baisse très vite (salle de bain peu entretenue, sol de la chambre très très sale, ménage vite fait, pas d'eau chaude la dernière nuit et le lendemain, pas de serviettes, […] etc.). Nous avons informé le personnel de la réception de notre mécontentement... aucune excuse, pas de geste commercial sur les dépenses faites lors du séjour). Le service n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur. Un seul point positif, l'emplacement de l'hôtel, plage propre (seulement au niveau de l'hôtel) et environnement calme. Actuellement, plein d'autres hôtels sont en construction. Souhaitons que le rapport qualité/prix soit meilleur. Le prix du Sokha n'est pas du tout justifié. Uzziniet vairāk

Начитавшись отзывов в интернете, решили обязательно брать отель со своей собственной пляжной зоной. Отелем остались довольны на 100%. Аккуратная территория, идеальная чистота, обслуживание достойное 5-звездочного отеля, 2-х разовая еже.дневная уборка в номере, весь персонал прекрасно говорит на английском, своя пляжная зона, которая содержится в идеальной […] чистоте, просторные и красивые номера.
