Nice hotel. Close to the beach,boardwalk and tropicana. Staff are great and the in house restaurant is nice. Planning to go back soon

My husband and I have been to AC four times now, and we have stayed here twice. We will keep returning. The rooms have been spotless and well-decorated. The hotel has a better, younger vibe than some of the casino hotels, but I have never had a problem with noise in the Luxe tower. First let me say I researched every hotel on the strip worth looking into for my stay before I selected the Chelsea. I must say, I made a very good choice and my weekend was fantastic. The front desk staff was courteous and attentive to my request. It was a great location and my bayside view of the Ocean at 6:30 am as the sun began to rise was BEAUTIFUL.... […] I can not forget the bed it was like sleeping on air OMG! I loved the fact that I could park my vehicle and either party in the hotel at the club or take a cab down the strip to other locations throughout the night. The stay at the hotel was great. The bed was comfy. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The only part I wouldn't recommend is the restaurants. I did not enjoy the food at all. It's right on the broad walk to there was easy access to the beach and other eateries.

The hotel and staff were very professional. They made everything a very pleasant stay. The location of the hotel was also a plus. Not too far from popular spots. I will recommend them to others.

I enjoyed my time with my significant other, we LOVED the King bed and the bay view! We left the room came back to a beautifully cleaned room, all of our things in tact NOTHING MISSING! the service was wonderful and the people extremely nice and comforting. They knocked out all of the hassle immediately and made our weekend get away great.

a decent attempt to be trendy and upscale but lower your standards tries but needs improvement no room service at all -and you should not have to call and leave a message-thats just understaffed and overwhelmed wait too long for an elevator when there are 4 of them friendly staff but some too young and inexperienced in service -for example asked to […] wait for a seat at Teplitksi's when there are several tables open! better than some others out there, but your are paying for 4 star and this is 2. The Chelsea Hotel had the most pleasant and accomodating staff I have come across in many years of traveling. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very nice. I loved the room . the bed was huge and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our steak dinner at the Chelsea Prime where there was a jazz trio. Excellent food!!

Perfect for couples, very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is popular...be prepared to wait long lines for check in and check out-hotel is opened only from Thursday-Sunday-so the hotel stays busy. The hotel is central to many places so price is well worth it!

This hotel is beautifully decorated, luxurious, has nice restaurants and a beautiful outdoor saltwater pool and fire pit. Unfortunately we weren't able to enjoy it. Even though it was a cold November night, the room was boiling hot. When we called and told the front desk, they said they were trying to fix the problem. In the morning when I complained to the manager he was surprised that noone offered to give us a different room, sohe gave us $30 towards the hotel restaurant. The worst part was when we were leaving and asked the valet to get the car, he said the car has a flat tire and that he can't get it. They tried to free themselves from all blame, but we were 2 girls in a stranger city so we got them to change the tire, and then when i had to get a new one, i made them pay for it. I liked the hotel, but they really need to update the carpet in the hall, it's like a brown n beige color n looks very dirty. They have complimentary things but I think they could've been a little more reasonable; I mean $3 for 2 advils n $2.50 for a candy bar. I loved my stay at the hotel. The hotel was quite and the bed was comfortable. The mini bar is a joke. The price of the mini bar is ridiculous. The good thing is there is a liquior store around the corner 2minute walk if that.....The room selection! Here is only two different rooms eventhough three are listed. The Chelsea Hotel is the quintenessial non-casino hotel on the Boardwalk. Our room was ultra clean and impeccibly decorated in mid-century modern. We received terrific service from valet to front desk to restaurant staff. The Chelsea hotel and staff were dedicated to the goal of our having great stay. And, we did!

Expect somewhat condescending service from the staff who never apologize but say that are sorry YOU misunderstood. The rooms are lavish and clean which I love and are the only reason I stay. No vending machines just three dollar water in the restaurant. Ice is on certain floors which is stupid. The place caters to young rich people and expect the smell […] of weed while people pregame blasting loud music. The Chelsea is a beautiful hotel that puts its efforts into the guest and not into the casino. Stay here for the luxury, then walk to the casino. Much better accomadations for the money than the Tropicana.

Very nice hotel!! Right on the strip and the ocean. Bed was the best part of the hotel, so comfy. The room was clean, but being a neat freak I did notice there were hairs in sink from previous guest and grease(?) on headboard (don't really want to think how it got there or where it was from). I would still stay here again!

We had a good time in Atlantic City. The only problem with the hotel was (that is why the 2 points at "Hotel Service") the receptionists were truly unprofessional. No exceptions (we met three of them). No smile, no extra information, no "what else can I do for you", forgetting welcome package etc. When our card keys did not work there was no apology […] right when it happened or later. Wonderful stay at The Chealsea. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Very accommodating staff including valet. Steps away from the boardwalk. Cozy diner with delicious food. Just wished they had a fridge and coffee pot set up. Will most definitely stay again!!! :-)

Overall it was a pretty nice stay, I did not appreciate the privacy sign on the outside of the room and the maids came in anyway. I don't know why they have this available but still enter the room??? The Evening Staff very nice but the morning staff to me very cranky and slobish and rude. Stayed in the luxe tower, room 1402 - had a view of the ocean, albeit from the side. I have 2 minor complaints: there is NO self parking, valet only. I despise valet parking because of principle, not because of cost. Second, the pool is open until 7pm. When check-in is at 4pm, you have effectively 3 hours to use the pool. Who uses the pool the morning […] that they have to check-out and leave? Other than that, everything was great. The room was decorated in a lovely way, very 60s Mod. It looked old, but the stuff inside was pretty new, which was a great look. Room was clean, view was cool. THE BED WAS A CLOUD!!! With all the pillows and very comfortable bedding, it was a great night's sleep. I will recommend it to friends. It's a lot different than the Trop right, which is right next door. We called hotels.com while driving down Pacific Ave in Atlantic City on a Saturday hoping to find a hotel that was not overly expensive. We were given a reservation at the Chelsea. That […] was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We had the King Size bed. OMG I didnt want to get out. The room was so clean, big TV just perfect. It is right on the boardwalk so even though there is in casino in the hotel, you are about 20 feet from the Tropicana. There is a club in the hotel that is outside and inside. Awesome. And if you are a guest you dont have to pay. It was so much fun. And 2 pools. I highly recommend this hotel. We booked the hotel as a last minute spontaneous trip to A.C. The Staff were very hospitable, and went out of their way to help us. The rooms are amazing, although the shower wasn't as powerful as one would have hoped. The bed was comfy and the hotel is very close to Tropicana, which is great. The Chelsea is a great place to stay. We went for a girls weekend getaway. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay at the Chelsea again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Chelsea very much. The hotel was accomodating to both families and the younger crowd. The staff was wonderful and personable. We hope to return in the future.

Despite not having a coffee/tea kettle in room, this non-gambling hotel has some very convenient features. We stayed on a high floor in the Tower and had a lovely view. The hotel is within half a block of the boardwalk and beach. They have chairs, umbrellas and towels that they dispense to their guests right on the beach. The fifth floor pool has tented […] areas equiped with televisions and sofas along side the traditional pool that is surrounded by the typical lounge chair. The rooms have guest robes, hair dryers, irons, and safes in addition to what is described on the Chelsea website. The night we arrived, there was a torrential rainstorm and we were pleasantly surprised that the Teplitzky's diner was connected to the hotel and we did not have to go outside in the rain to get our dinner. Stayed here in January and liked it enough to choose it for another recent visit. Staff is very friendly/helpful, front desk tends to get a little backed up but not too bad. Clean, good location, well appointed rooms, decent price.

Hotel had a youthful, hip and modern quality to it that was refreshing. You don't have to leave the premises to have dinner, dancing or mingling. The beds are very very comfortable and it was a shame to leave.

Inconvenient to wait for the car 10 min, just to pick up a cd inside and not beeing able to do it myself immediately.

Ok my hubby and chose chelsea hotel because online it looked modern altho it had a 40's glam about it. Also because we wanted veru very clean. Little romance/lounge feel. And Man we truly got jus that. No its not one of those get lost in hotels, however, its very close to beach, its very clean, the crew were all very pleasant and helpful. To top it […] off at night 5th floor had an awesome night club that everyone heard about and had to come to. The ambiance and music for all to enjoy. Hands down it was all that we could hav for and more. We don't gamble so not have a casino didn't matter at all. Again it was close to many casinos if you wanted to do it up. The Spa was fantastic!!! My husband and I went to AC for a quick weekend trip. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better. We were able to walk quickly to the Tropicanna and the The Pier Shops at Caesar's Palace were easily accessible via the Boardwalk. We had dinner at Dock's Oyster House and were able to walk there as well since it was only about 4 or 5 blocks away! The […] only negative to this hotel in my opioion is the pool area. While it is very nice, it is small. I would definitely suggest getting up early, taking stuff down there to leave on lounge chairs since by 10:00am there are none left. Skeptical upon booking. I recently stayed at the Trump and was not pleased with the service, hotel decor and the room. At The Chelsea, I saw the online pics when booking and was waiting to be deceived. The hotel is on the outer edge of central AC, and hidden between Hylton and Tropicana. But the price is reflected in the property, as being resonable […] compared to the other bigger and out-dated properties. As for the room, it beat my expectations. The room is clean and modern looking, bathroom is clean with the shower as a focal point, but lacks some of the amenities: hair dryer and hand soap. The hotel was conveniently located seconds away from the shore. The room was spacious, however there were a few dirty towels in the bathroom when we checked in. The bedspread was also dirty.

Great location and great price for the room. Everything is very convenient. I didn't like the pool on the 1st floor. It was very small and not so clean but the pool on the 5th floor makes up for it. However, the only thing is they close at 7. They should definitely extend the hours. Other than that, we were pleased with our stay.

I felt that the ladies working at the desk were rude. The hotel was nice and I did not have any complaints about the hotel. My only complaint is about the girl working that night when I check in and the girl when I check out was not any better on how she addressed me she also was rude. This hotel was very nice. I liked the valet parking and the beach was right outside of the hotel so was the boardwalk. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfy!! After a long drive walking the boardwalk listening to the waves I went back to my room and crashed out because the bed was very comfortable !! Overall the hotel was nice. I would recommend only for a short 1-2 day only because the room smell like mildew. It is located literally next to the Tropicana and within walking distance to some restaurants and shopping stores.
