"Funky Fun!!"
This hotel is retro fun! Red/black/chrome. Big rooms, well-equiped. Would be tacky except it's all very new and clean looking. Nice breakfast included. Really great price - right off the freeway.
"Nice place to stay"
It was a nice stay. I was on business and my wife came along. There was a park near by that she could go walking at. The breakfast has made to order omelots which are very good. Room has a wall mounted table great for working at. I don't like the bed framework which sticks out farther than the matress and is hard on your feet getting in and out.
"This is not your average hotel"
We were in town for shopping, and it is conveniently located to all shopping areas. The decor of this hotel made us feel miles from home. The service was excellent and we would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not your average cookie cutter hotel and the rooms offer something for everyone. Can't wait to stay here again.
Water park was closed so we couldn't take a tour of it but we got to see action city which looked pretty cool. Not real impressed with location of bar. It right in the front lobby and doesn't seem like somewhere to relax or enjoy any entertainment. Room was clean and big enough. There were no phone books or books about the hotel or the area of Eau Claire […] in the room. They did not have any complimentary toothpaste. Would recommend getting room darkening shades. Overall though loved the refrigerator in room and was happy with stay. Will go there again. Uzziniet vairāk

"Metropolis Resort in Eau Claire Wi"
This was a great place to stay for a little family get away. The rooms were clean but be careful the room we had we kept hitting our shins on the wood bed frame. Our family had a great time at the water park. The breakfast area was a little chaotic and should have been moved to the banquet room away from the traffic of people trying to check in or check […] out. The made to order omlets were a nice touch. "Careful with the platform bed, Eugene"
My one quibble over this otherwise excellent hotel has to do with the corners of the mattress support, which are black, nearly invisible, and aimed directly at my left shin every time I walked past it. The place was immaculate, the room spacious, free WiFi and breakfast, and fun things to do if you have the time.
"Great Hotel"
This hotel was nicely decorated, full continental bkfst with made to order omelets, VERY reasonable and had awesome amenities. My husband and I was here for a funeral so we didn't get a chance to take advantage of Action City and the waterpark. Action City has indoor go-karts, batting cages, mini-bowling, arcade, rock climbing and outdoor mini-golf. […] We didn't get a chance to check out the fitness center or waterpark because the doors locked at 9pm. We would definitely stay again and would recommend this to anyone passing through! They could use better signage and lighting since it is hard to find your way in after dark. Very nice place and the water park looked like fun even though we didn't get a chance to use it.

I was able to stay in this hotel because they ran a special. It was fantastic. I recommended it to my colleagues who stay in Eau Claire on a regular basis.

It was a great place to stay, little hard to find on my first visit. Definitely one of the nicer places to stay in Eau Claire. Cook to order omelets as well as continental breadfast a nice touch.

I had to stay for work and chose this mainly due to the price. It was a great find! Very nice, modern room with a fridge and microwave. Wish I could have gotten a king bed instead of 2, but that's not a huge deal. I was also pleased that I didn't hear any of the arcade traffic in the hallway.
KIds had a blast at the waterpark and at Action City. Great getaway resort

My daughter and I stayed there on a Sunday night. The room was very nice. Just a bit disappointed that the ipod dock wasn't working in our room. Not enough to deter us from coming back again, though. The waterpark was small, but adequate. Great for younger kids, but there were a few slides for older kids, too. They closed early, though, before 9p. "Metropolis - OK, but not ideal for younger kids"
We've stayed here before and had a great time with the included waterpark in the past. The value of the room with included fridge/microwave, included waterpark admission, and free breakfast can not be beat! Obviously this hotel can't be matched to the size of some of the Wisconsin Dells resorts, but the location and price make it an acceptable alternative. The […] waterpark is fun, but our experience has been that the younger kids don't get much out of it. The deep parts of water are 3 feet deep (too deep for many kids under 4 years) and the shallow areas are covered with high pressure fountains (a little scary for some of the younger kids). Also, the "lazy river" (again 3 feet deep) must be navigated on a tube. If you get out of your tube for any reason, or attempt to swim along next to your rafted child... the lifeguards instruct you to get into a tube. The breakfast is great! Plenty of selection and eggs to order. The other side of the resort has an arcade and go-kart track (among other things) -- this again can be fun for kids around 4 and older. Since our previous visit, they've added an unlimited wrist band option at a very good price. Older kids/teens would get good use from the unlimited option. Overall it was a great stay. It was very nice to stay at the hotel Metropolis. It was clean, the room had a good size, modern Deco..like the photos in their website. Although we were a couple with no children, we enjoy the water park. The breakfast could be a little better organize. ++very afortable -thanks hotel.com for the special.

It was a great place to take my daughter and wife. We had fun in the arcade area with quality games. The food was good and the room clean and comfortable. It was a great value!

Terrific staff and service. Great for kids, but was just fine for adults w/o kids, too. Good rooms, good breakfast, excellent staff. Room was spacious, comfy and quiet. Would return whenever in the area.

This was my second stay at this property. Very nice hotel for the money. Clean rooms, great complimentary breakfast, decent fitness room ( also a Gold's gym across the street which you can use cheap.) Didn't utilize the water park but it looked nice.
staff at front desk was not friendly at all we so many problems with internet called down twice went down to ndesk twice fianaly a teck was called but still didnt work they gave us a cord to hook up and it still didnt work continental bfs was so un organized food was taken down while people were still eatting terrible people were all on top of each […] other you couldnt move to small of an area Uzziniet vairāk

"Mixed Messages"
We found the décor and ambiance of the hotel very modern/euro. We assumed from the photos on line that it was catering to a clientele seeking a more ‘boutique’ accommodation. We when arrived we were surprised to find the hotel had a water park (equipped with both in and soon-to-be outdoor water slides/activities) on one end and an ‘Action City’ entertainment […] park on the other end. This meant, of course, that families with small children were constantly running up and down the hotel hallways.
