good, I arrived late just as the dinner buffet was closing and an employee by the name "Marty" went out of her way to provide me with some freshly cooked items.

It is bordered by a transmodal rail yard & warehouse area & the Farmshow Complex. Easy access to I-81, 22 & 322. A mile the Appalachian Brewing Company on Cameron St. The noise from the rail yard stopped @ night, but noticed a lot of hotel sounds like heating/cooling systems kicking on and off etc. Also heard the dog in the next room barking in the […] early morning. Bed only had 3 pillows, 2 of which were appropriated. I slept on one pillow and the furniture pillows. No extra pillow in closet. I didn't call to ask for an extra pillow. No ice buckets. Refrigerator's ice bin was empty. Front desk gave me a plastic bag full of crushed ice. The canteen shop was convenient and reasonably priced. Nice heated indoor pool - only 4.5' deep. Nice work out room - 1 treadmill, 1 bicycle, 1 walking machine. Breakfast was; eggs, assorted breads & bagels for toasting, hot oatmeal, cereals, fruit, coffees, juices, milks, sausage, french toast. Nice indoor area to eat at and good looking outdoor area with a couple grills. If you want a view and outside ambience, this is NOT the place for you. If you have kids who loves trains & you want a new hotel with large, clean rooms, excellent service, good amenities & free parking compared to the downtown hotels, this is worth trying. I really do like this hotel - it's comfortable, close to where I need to be, people are pleasant. HOWEVER, I've stayed twice in the past month and both times I was billed by hotels.com AND the hotel directly. I complained about it the second time and they promise to fix both but I don't feel like it will be fixed without a fight.

There was a lot of noise going on over by the railroad tracks. I am not sure if they were loading carts on the train or what, but we arrived to our hotel late and were so tired, it was pretty annoying to have to listen to those loud noises. When I went to check-in at 3 p.m., the front desk lady told me that my room was not ready. I then asked her what time it was (3 p.m.) and then asked her what time check-in was (3 p.m.). She immediately told me that their rooms are bigger that other hotels, so it takes longer to clean each room. Didn't get off to a great start with me. So just know this hotel probably fills up quickly and almost every night -- I'm assuming from legislators and politicians who come to Harrisburg. They serve a complimentary dinner every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, which is always nice. I had a meeting at the time they were serving dinner, so I can not comment on the quality. The king suite was very nice. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was really good, a little crowded since a lot of families were staying at the hotel. The only downfall was a group of kids screaming in the hallway at 1:00 am. I called the front desk and it was taken care of right away, I didn't hear any noises after that.

The hotel is very clean and the rooms are updated. Loved having a kitchen. The only disappointment were the beds. They were soo uncomfortable. My husband wanted to sleep on the floor rather than the bed because it was so uncomfortable. Other than that it was fine. Breakfast was great every morning.

I booked specious room at 5th floor, nice big, clean room with two doublebeds, small fully equiped kitchen, bath room with intgrated toilet. Customer service was wery pleasent, only issue were breakfests, minimus seats, long waiting time for food and lots of noise.

Perfect choice for one night visiting Hershey with the kids! We got a suite and the kids got such a kick out of the separate room. The facility was nicer than I thought it would be. It was a 20 minute drive to Hershey. We just stayed one night so we didn't' care at all. If we were staying all week, perhaps I would have wanted to be closer if the kids […] wanted to go back during the day but we did not. I don't think we could have gotten such a nice room closer to the park. The breakfast was more than I expected. We never used the pool so can't' comment on that. I was very happy with the hotel staff and the room. It was clean, they allowed pets and the breakfast was very good. The PROBLEM started about 8pm when the trailer trucks were being loaded onto the cabs. the noise did not stop until 4am. It was non stop and there was not sleeping unless you were staying at another hotel 50 miles away.

I was impressed with the amount of space the room had and really liked the kitchen. Just a short walk to the farm show complex. The only negative part of our stay would be the industrial park is close by,But do not let that scare you away this is a nice place.

While my stay was only for one night, I due plan to be there this New Years Eve, However, the only problem that we had there, was lack of space for eating, we were hoping to get a quick breakfast on Sunday morning, but instead we were faced with long lines of people waiting for pancaks/waffles and NO place to sit.
