This hotel was grossly mis-represented as an airport hotel. Service was poor. Taxi cost €25-30. No easy access to airport, except by taxi. Lots of plane and traffic noise heard in rooms. I would suggest to keep looking for another hotel.

I was surprised at this charming family run hotel. It is a few blocks from the train so you can easily get to the downtown area of Frankfurt. Nearby is an excellent traditional German local restaurant. The breakfast is included with the room and is very good. I would stay here the next time I visit.

Wonderful hotel and the family that runs it provides incredible service. If you are looking for a boutique hotel near Frankfurt airport this is a great choice. Also; one block away is a great Bavarian restaurant (recommended by this hotel) that has great atmosphere and great food.

i stayed five nights during a large trade show in Frankfurt. The staff was amazing, i arrived from the USA 7am and my room was ready - eamiled them ahead of arriving. The breakfast buffet is very good and great start of the day, free wifi (a little bit slow but ok). Room is clean with a nice size bathroom and a minibar. Bed was small and only one very […] pour pillow. Bigest downside is if you have dinner in Frankfurt and want to take the train back there is only ONE train each hour after 7pm so a bit of a hazzel. The ride is about 15 minutes from the maln train station in Frankfurt, less than 5 minutes walk to the hotel from the Walldorf train station so no problem there. nice place but in a small village abt 24 km from airport -- so it is NOT an airport hotel, ie for quick stop without going into city. taxi ride each way of nearly 30 euros. nice village with excellent german restaurant near hotel

A basic hotel in a quaint German town close to the Frankfurt airport. Free wifi and a nice breakfast which was included. Friendly and helpful staff. There is a pool on site too.

We love staying at locally owned hotels, and this one was great!! Lots of charm, great staff, delicious breakfast all in a quiet cute neighborhood! Rooms were spacious for our needs and very clean. We will certainly stay here again during our travels.

Hotel is very nice and rooms are nice. Short distance to the train station and has several nice restaurants nearby within a few minutes of walking. Ample parking in hotel grounds so you are not looking for spots on street. Breakfast needs to be paid more attention to by hotel staff, food was not replaced and dishes not picked up. Coffee was rationed […] as attendants were not on duty. Internet is not high enough band width if hotel is even partially full so you can work out of hotel. This hotel was good, in a quiet suburb close to the airport and the S-Bahn. Not many tourists as it's the only hotel in this suburb. My only complaints are there are no in-room safes, and the wi-fi did not reach my room so I had to use it from the lobby. I would definately stay there again.

Quite pleasant, but basic. Typical of the area local hotels. Family run. Breakfast was quite good - not 'sunday brunch' or anything, but quite decent. I would definitely stay there again.

Quiet hotel, heated swimming pool, and great staff. Rooms are clean and reasonably priced via hotels.com. The large black mixed breed puppy Duke loves to play and chase toys, part of the hotel staff obviously.

I spend one night in this quiet hotel in a quiet neighborhood, despite the fact that it was Friday night. First got a shock when arrived around midnight. After calling the phone number on the door, I got the code to enter the main door and found my key laying on the reception desk without problem. Breakfast was no luxury but enough.

I chose the hotel because it was listed as close to the airport and the hotel's website also claimed it was convenient to the fair grounds (which it was). What was not true was the convenience to the airport - the hotel claimed a bus ran regularly from airport, and posted directions where to find the bus on the website, but the directions were wrong. […] I ended up taking a taxi (25euro). To return to the airport, the hotel again assured me there was a bus, and gave me directions to the bus station. They failed to mention that the bus only runs once an hour on weekends! By the time I realized this at the bus station, I had to scramble to find a taxi to get to my flight. My main complaint is the utter and total indifference of the hotel staff - I had called from the US to inquire about the bus service, and asked twice in the hotel about the bus back, and neither of these times did they ever give me the real story. Other than that, the hotel was standard for a small inn in a small German town - super clean, nice reception and breakfast room with local ambiance and a great breakfast spread, and a room that is clean but functional but the opposite of cozy. On the hotels.com website, the Hotel zum Loewen is listed as an airport hotel. To me this means a hotel where you can actually see the airport in the distance. This hotel was miles from the hotel, a good 20 minute taxi drive through the countryside. It's located in a small but quite attractive village with a few local bars and a restaurant. I've stayed in numerous hotels near the airport and they were all lacking in something. This hotel has it all, if somewhat tight parking situation which I dealt with. Didn't have the breakfast, so cannot vouch for it, but the condition of the public spaces and the rooms was very good. The hotel itself was extremely nice. My only complaints were that the map and directions were totally inadequate and I didn't have GPS. The hotel was difficult to find. We chose this hotel because of the reviews and the airport shuttle. The hotel was delightful, service excellent. HOWEVER, there is NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE. We took a 20 minute taxi ride, not cheap. I stayed at this hotel due to convenience of location near Frankfurt-Main and the auto shipping for my new car purchased in Germany. Has excellent dry sauna, pool, breakfast. Gym is adequate. Rooms are VERY comfortable. Service is great! It is my idea of a solid german inn.

周囲には何もありません。夜、夕食は少し離れたレストラン２軒ですが、１軒は全員喫煙者で、しかもドイツ風ではありません。航空会社の運航乗員として何度もドイツに行きましたが、やはり市内が良いと思います。
