Renaissance Curacao Resort & Casino — Vilemstade

The resort was super nice and clean and in the middle of everything you'd ever want/need and within walking distance to both movie theatres. Will do again, very happy!

I had room service, fell asleept without placing my tray outside. At 10 PM banging on my door for the tray!!

Had a very nice hotel experience at the Renaissance Curacao. Rooms are comfortable with nice views (we had a beach view). Meals are expensive, but good The best is the fabulous location with easy access to the city and all sightseeing. nice setting - nice decoration - perfect for holiday or business

I chose the Renaissance for the business rating. I was in Curacao for business and expected it to be business friendly. Internet service was an additional $70 per week while I stayed there. I'm use to having a coffee machine and coffee available in my room and this wasn't the case. The telephone in my room had issues that were never resolved. I couldn't […] receive phone calls in my room for my entire stay. I had to go to the coffee shop and purchase coffee or go to the dining area and purchase coffee. The bed was too soft. Although this was nice for a night or two, I ended up sleeping on the floor for three nights. This is the best hotel for business on the island!

This hotel does not have beach access, it has a sea water pool with a man made beach on the first floor. No water sports facilities. The service is slow and the staff do not know what the word service means. I will not be going back to this hotel.

The hotel is an American standard 4 star hotel as advertised. It is in a convenient location, relatively short walks from the best parts of Willemstad. Hotel was clean, bright, and the staff friendly and helpful. Facilities are good, including the room, common areas and the great man-made beach pool. There were a couple of nearby cafes and restuarants […] in very short walking distance for eating away from the hotel. The hotel shopping precinct is set-up for the wealthy first world visitors but a walk no more than 1km into Punda provides for more competitive shopping and within a very unique historical and cultural town. Well worth the visit. Things to note: 1. Taxi standards are relatively low (but common for the Caribbean and South America) with the fare from airport to hotel USD25, but USD30 to return. Both taxi experiences were poor with old and dirty vehicles and neither driver being particularly friendly or helpful. The actual taxi ride ias about 15 mins only. 2. The rooms have internet access but not wireless and incurs an additional charge. The common ares of the hotel have a free wireless connection (but with an access coded provided). Uzziniet vairāk

Me and a friend stayed in this hotel from July 11th 2010 for 4 days. The check in process was smooth. We arrived at 2.00PM, but could already check in, while the normal check in time is 4.00PM We got a room with a view on the street side. Accross from the movie theater. We were so glad with that, because we could open the door/window to get fresh air […] and we could look outside the door, leaning on the ballustrade. We had 2 double beds.(2 queens) The beds are fantastic, so soft. We slept very well those 4 days. The room is spacious and clean. There is a turndown service. In the bathroom there is a shower/bathtube combination with AVEDA spa products. There is also a small empty refrigerator. This hotel is in Otrabanda.There is a shopping complex connected to the hotel. It's a 10 min. walk to go to the other side of the iland, named Punda. To get there, you have to cross the moving walkingbridge, named The Queen Emma bridge. When ships passed by, the bridge moves to the sides. There are lots of shops accross as well as restaurants. The hotel has a wonderful artificial salt water beach on the 2nd floor. The view is spectacular. All cruiseships stops in front of the faked beach. Theprices at the Nautilus restaurant looked overpriced. You can eat a la carte or have a buffet. Breakfastbuffet costs $17,= Lunchbuffet is $20,= and Dinnerbuffet is $36,= (without tax). For those prices we got much more food to choose from at other hotels worldwide. We had a great time and we would definately recommend this hotel. Uzziniet vairāk

We arrived at the hotel, no help was in sight to assist us with our baggage. And once I had spotted someone, they did not even do as much as open the door for us! Once in, there was no one at the check in counter so service there was pleasant and efficient, however they could not tell us then the room would be ready (we arrived before official check […] in time). Other times we had to go to the counter, there clearly wasn't enough staff, and had to wait in line each time (10-15 min in general). The hotel's public space is oddly decorated. Is is NOT attractive at all. However the room were fine, and clean. The bed was extremely confortable, water pressure great, A/C working great... We were facing the parking garage, and car could be heard from the room. A bit annoying, but didn't stop us from sleeping well. Was a bit taken aback to see that the pool's wall (they have 2, one salt water, and one fresh water) were both covered in algae at the infinity edge(especially the salt water one) indicating poor cleaning. We had breakfast there 2 mornings. Service was fine one morning, and terrible the next. Hit and miss I guess, depending on who serves you. The food was varied enough, however lots of items in the buffet were cold. Location wise, you are right there. They have a nice plaza right outside the restaurant with lots of shops, restaurants, cafe. You are also 10 minutes walk away from the historic sites, walking bridge, etc... There is also a car rental (budget) 5 minutes walk out of the door of the hotel, and they gave us the best rental rates. It was 50% cheaper than rates we had previously looked at online! And for some reason the garage parking was free for the month what we were there. Would not grudge at the idea of going back there, as the rooms themselves were great, and the location was great too, but other than that, was not impressed. Uzziniet vairāk

Muy bien ubicado, excelente la atención de su personal, incluso llegue a las 9 de la mañana y me dieron la habitación sin ningún problema. La playa del hotel esta super, mi hijo de tres años la disfruto. Lo recomiendo con todo gusto.

Férias maravilhosas, hotel muito agradável, staff educado, extremamente prestativo. Riff Fort, lugar delicioso, porém ao sair dele e passar nos arredores,o local se torna meio sinistro à noite. Mas quanto ao hotel, muito bom, voltaria com toda certeza!

Wir waren mit diesem Hotel rundum zufrieden.

Wij zijn 9 nachten in Curacao geweest waarvan 3 in het Renaissance Hotel. Op deze manier goed aan te bevelen. Zeer centraal gelegen en mooie manier om Willemstad te ontdekken. Wel erg groot, geen leuke bar in casino, wel op strandje. En als je van casino's houdt, dan zit je goed, er is er namelijk 1 naast de lobby. SU PLAYA ES LA MAS ADECUADA PARA NIÑOS PEQUEÑOS Y ADULTOS MAYORES. LAS TIENDAS MAS IMPORTANTES ESTAN A MENOS DE 100 METROS Y SU CASINO EN LA PB. ES UN HOTEL QUE NOS DA COMODIDAD.

C'est un excellent hotel, où nous avons séjourné moins d'une semaine mais dans lequel nous nous sommes sentis choyés. La plage ainsi que la piscine artificielles à débordement sont des atouts majeurs vu la localisation en pleine ville de cet hotel. Lindo el hotel y esa playa privada es espectacular, se siente uno privilegiado en un lugar que por su condición natural y de arrecifes, no cuenta con playas

cuando llegue al hotel me atendio en recepcion la sra Michelle la atencion fue excelente llegue a las 12 y el chequeo era a las 3, aun asi mi habitacion estaba lista y me la entregaron de inmediato el cuarto estaba limpio y era muy comodo la playa del hotel es muy limpia y la disfrutamos bastante, el dia de la entrega me habian cargado un consumo en […] el restaurant Nautilos del hotel que yo no habia hecho la sra de recepcion hablo con el manager y todo fue solucionado satisfactoriamente. O Hotel é novo, confortável, bonito e com excelente manutenção.Pelo que vi em Curaçao, não o trocaria por nenhum outro, já que os demais são bem velhos e feios(exceto o Kura Hulanda). A localização é ótima, pq fica dentro de uma área de lojas e restaurantes charmosos e com fácil acesso a pé à parte histórica . Como é central, tem bom acesso de carro […] às praias. Enig nadeel: dat in zo'n hotel er mensen zijn die vroeg de handdoeken op de stoelen bij t strand leggen in de schaduw,en vervolgens de hele dag niet ziet! Iedereen wil graag in de schaduw en er staat toezicht bij. Die zouden dit beter moeten overzien dat dat niet mag. hierdoor irritatie op t strand!

Hotel magnífico, novinho, muito bem localizado e pessoal bem educado e atencioso. Beleza, nota 10.

Melhorar a apresentação dos empregados, ter mais atenção com os hospedes e melhorar a limpeza dos quartos e reposição dos insumos como toalhas, papel higienico e produtos de toalete
