"re: great stay at the doubletree"
when I travel for business, I need to have my accommodations be trouble free so I can focus on my6 work. Not only was the hotel in tip top shape but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Staying at the doubletree helped me focus on my business and what I was providing for my client. I will definitely stay at this hotel location again.

"Great Customer Service"
All the staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem we had with our room was in the morning (7am) my husband tried to take a shower but it went from hot to scalding. We called maintenance and they came pretty quickly and fixed it, but we were to meet family for breakfast and had gotten dressed so couldn't take a shower by then. "Wonderful!"
A wonderful, clean friendly enviroment. Thank God for Hotels.com! The rate was the best part about this stay! Overall a great experience and Edgar, @ the front desk was kind, thoughtful and super informative about the ammenities and what to do in the area! We will stay here again!

I'm very picky with hotels. Double Tree in El Paso was very modern and clean. Even the room service had convenient hours for those late arrivers. Front desk was very helpful. The waiters at the Fire restaurant was very courteous and the food was very good. Our room was located in a very convenient place. It was by the elevators, gym, ice machine/vending […] machine, and pool. What we were not pleased with was the slow internet connectivity (even when hooked directly from LAN jack and the television had hotel commercial that had HD tv but the tv programming was VERY fuzzy; not clear at all. "Great Hotel - Horrible Customer Service"
This hotel is in a great downtown location. It is in great condition, free parking, nice food, clean rooms, huge flat screen TVs. However, front desk personnel are unfriendly, unhelpful, and rude. For example, they refused to allow my wife to check in the hotel because I paid for it, even though we have the same last name and my wife had the credit […] card in which the room was paid on and I called and ask them to let her check in because I was getting off work late and would meet her there. Instead my wife waited in the lobby until I got there (2 hours). Also on the 3rd nights stay house keeping did nothing to the room and when we returned around 9:00pm they said they would send someone up with towels and didnt so when we called again they said it might be faster if we came and got towels. Finally, after checking out and driving 2 hours home my wife realized she forgot her hygene bag on the bathroom door and called the hotel and left 3 messages and has yet to get a call back. Like I said great hotel in need of a better staff or customer service training. I will give my money to another hotel next time. Uzziniet vairāk

"Very nice hotel with 101 noises!"
Great hotel close to everything. Very clean & new. Beds are very comfortable but pillows way too soft. I felt like I would suffocate. We were a bit dissaponted because we went there to catch up on some very needed sleep and would get startled every few minutes cause of the noise. It wasn't the hotel creating the noise but since its soo convenient to […] everything it comes with the price of lots of noise from many sources like highway, streets, train, and cars in the garage parking. If I ever need a nice hotel for business I will consider staying again but if its for rest, never. Its sad that hotels are being built with very little sound barriers nowadays. "HORRIBLE experience!"
Absolutely miserable experience: slow check-in due to understaffing, absolutely beyond-comprehension rude employees, broken wake-up call system, parking nightmare, slooow mismanaged elevator system, etc, etc, etc. Would never recommend it and will never go back. Much better hotels by the airport!

"call before reservation"
After a long 12 hour drive we wanted to sleep! Well this hotel had a party on the 17 floor guessin the ball room. The music was loud we couldnt sleep. Many people complaint maybe call ahead before booking. Had a horrible day the next day! Room was clean and neat but some. Bed comfortable..but stains on couch. Not great at the time.

"New Hotel - Nice rooms"
This is a brand new hotel so I expected everthing to be new, fresh and clean...which is was. Only exception....a dirty couch in my room was not cleaned so it must have been missed by their staff. Located downtown close to all, nice pool, good security. did not eat in the restaurant through.

"Disappointing..."
For a DoubleTree, doesn't live up to the name. Poorly managed, rude front desk, trashy hallways and elevators, poor service in restaurant.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Its located right downtown and close to everything. I highly recommend it.

Upon arrival check in time no welcome cookies were available after I told my family the hotel greeted guests with cookies. The room was clean but did not have a fresh smell, the window view to the city was great. The pool needs to be serviced and supervised there was some guests drinking beer and dumping inside the pool. The neighborhood is not very […] good and next time I visit will be staying away from this area. The staff was friendly and I did feel safe during my stay. "Bad 16th Floor"
The hotel was fine except for one thing. It was fully booked and our room was on the 16th floor. Great views, right! Except for the fact that there is a ballroom on the 17th floor with a wedding party that went until 1:00am. The base permeating our room. I was furious.Service in the restaurant was lousy, too.

I was pleasantly surprised on how amazing this hotel was for the price. My children really enjoyed the heated pool in April. I would stay there again.

The hotel was very nice. The lobby welcomed guests with watermelon water and choc. chip cookies. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the outdoor terrace. Friday and Saturday night they had a movie playing out on the terrace-great way to get out of the room and feel entertained. My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Though we were visiting relatives, the hotel was more awesome!(you know what it's like:) Very close to downtown, awesome pool, and the renovations on the hotel were very cool!! I wil stay here any time I visit Texas. My wife says if it had a jacuzzii she would have extended our stay....

Restaurant was excellent
I was placed in a room that the AC had been leaking in the closeet for some time should not have been shown as ready. Floor was soaked with water adn the ceiling in the closet had paint peeling off . Water was dripping from ceiling down walls to floor.

every thing was ok except the pillows. they were to soft. I like moderate hard pillows. With soft pillows like the ones in the for mention hotel I couldn't sleep well.
