This hotel is very central and we had the shopping streets just around the corner. Only 5 min walk to the North Cyprus border. The big bus terminal Solomon Square was only a few minutes away as well. Very central!

I spent three nights at the Centrum and I really enjoyed my stay. The staff is very helpful and warm. The hotel is centrally located; it is close to the shops, the central bus station and Ledra Street. My room was on the second floor; it was very clean, spacious and comfortable and I could keep it at the temperature I wanted at the touch of a button. […] There was a fridge and a safe and the television had a fair number of English channels. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee, which was replenished daily. The breakfast was ample. Thank you Georgia and the gentleman in the breakfast room for making my stay even more pleasant! Made very welcome by friendly reception staff. Issue with plugging in TV and bedside light dealt with promptly (we would not attempt to use a 2 pin plug in a 3 pin socket ourselves). Our room (309) labelled executive on the door, although not booked as such, very large room with huge balcony but on a very narrow street so just looks on to building opposite. […] Disproportionate small bathroom where door could only open to 45 degrees because fouled toilet pan behind - shame. Room and bathroom freshly painted and had nice clean laminate flooring. Aircon worked well and quietly. Huge, comfortable bed. Cannot pull up to entrance for luggage unloading as pedestrian street but nearby carpark 5 euros 10 hours. Location excellent, exterior a bit souless and concrete but surrounded by old medieval buildings and streets and breakfast is provided in the restaurant which is in one of those old buildings (interior doorway from reception). The Centrum Hotel was very nice indeed. It's in a great location, in the walking section of the old town. Since it's in a walking district, you do need to park a little ways away (maybe 2 blocks away) and then walk in with your bags. But it's a nice walk to all of the downtown sights and restaurants. We stayed in a "traditional" room that was very nicely […] and recently updated. The hotel had free wireless and very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was nice, though nothing mind-blowing. This was our second stay in Nicosia in the last few months - both of them just an overnight on our way to or from the coast. The Centrum Hotel is perfectly located at the bottom of Ledra Street in the old town, just a five-minute walk from the border crossing. We had one of the traditional rooms, which was very comfortable, if a little small. With […] temperatures approaching 40 degrees, the efficient air conditioning was extremely welcome! Staff were lovely - both friendly and efficient, with good knowledge of the local area. Breakfast was excellent - a good choice of fruit, cereals, cold meats, cheeses, bacon and eggs, together with a selection of local breads and pastries. I was very surprised how pleasant this small hotel was. Contemporary rooms and very nic breakfast rooms with patio and veryy light. The Waiter Cornell was extremely friendly and helpful. one minute walk from Laikh Yotonia restaurants - real Cypriot food on the doorstep.

Spent 2 nights at this hotel in January 2012 on a sightseeing trip. Although it’s primarily a business hotel with high-speed internet access, business workspace and a meeting room, we found the location of the Centrum hotel was absolutely superb for sightseeing both north and south Nicosia old city. It was fairly easy to find and I don’t think the […] location could be bettered. It’s just inside the old city walls in a small street just off Ledra Street, which is the main shopping area in the old city. At the end of Ledra Street is the pedestrian border crossing into north Nicosia, which is under Turkish control. The Centrum hotel doesn’t have a car park, but don’t let that put you off. There is a large municipal car park just across the road that charges 5 euros for a 10-hour stay. For a city centre hotel it has an impressive reception area with a bar, large screen tv and seating area. Breakfast was fairly basic but very adequate. It was buffet style with hot and cold food including bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, beans, fried bread, croissants, cereals, cold meat and cheese. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a television, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. There was no bath, just a shower, but it was powerful and there was plenty of hot water. Some of the rooms have a small balcony. We did have wi-fi in our room, which was free of charge. If we visit Nicosia again, we would definitely stay in the Centrum and would have no hesitation in recommending it. Uzziniet vairāk

I have to admit I didn’t put too much research into finding The Centrum Hotel beforehand, just a cursory glance at the map to see that it was just off of Eleftherias Square by Ledra Street in the old town. On the fifth lap of the Constantinou Paleologou one way system I realised this may have been a mistake as the hotel just wasn’t where it’s supposed […] to be. Actually situated on one of the cobbled streets pedestrian streets just off Constantinou Paleologou, amongst the cafes and bars, it was easier to park up and walk around to the hotel. Once we finally arrived, the hotel which has recently been refurbished looked smart and clean in a minimalistic businessman stopover way. We were greeted at the desk by a pleasant chap who pointed me in the direction of the nearest car park which is a couple of hundred yards away and told not to bother feeding the meter at night as no one goes to check! The room was very simple but clean with two large single beds pushed together to make one huge, very comfy mattress. All importantly the air conditioning acted like a gift from the gods and surprisingly for such a central location the room was very quiet with very little of the hustle and bustle of the streets below making up to our second floor room. Breakfast is served in a delightful courtyard restaurant and is in the buffet form with all of the usual suspects represented – croissants, cold cuts, ham, cheese and Brit pleasing bacon, scrambled eggs beans etc. Even though we bordered on being late (breakfast is served 7 – 10am), everything that was supposed to be was warm and service was friendly. This is a budget hotel in price, reinforced by very simple rooms, but it is clean, friendly, has free wi-fi and is slap bang in the middle of town and for all of those reasons, if in need of a cheap and cheerful night in Nicosia, then I would have no hesitation in recommending the Centrum. Get there by taxi,difficult to find by car.Car parking is a municipal car park pay/display 140 metres away down three flights of steps so take luuggage to nearest point and then park the car.Lift did not work when we arrived and staff offered no assistance.The hotel is in an excellent location for the city's sights.Breakfast buffet ok.

The Centrum hotel is in a perfect location for experiencing the city within the city walls, right on the main shopping street. The hotel room was fine, clean, etc. Both myself and a friend had a shower in the room which managed to leak all over the floor during use, not sure whether we did something wrong there. Staff were friendly enough.

The location of the hotel is in the center of the city and best located among the other hotels. The room was clean with a huge size double bed. The crew was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Nice hotel with everything you need. Within walking distance of everything worth seeing in the town. Very nice breakfast. But if you have a car you must use the public car parking. Unfortunately the parking lot has a time limit of ten hours maximum...

Hotellet ligger rett innenfor den venetianske muren like ved Ledra gate, en fotgjenger- og innkjøpssone. Dette er en meget sentral og praktisk beliggenhet, men det kan være litt støy fra restaurantene omkring (men mye mindre enn det vi har opplevd mange andre steder!). Hotellet har sin egen stil, som vi likte godt. Frokost spises på den tilhørende restauranten […] på den andre siden av blokken i et koselig atrium, godt utvalg av lokal og internasjonal mat. Rommet vårt var stort, med god seng, stort bad med badekar, alt fungerte bra. Personalet var hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Centrum Hotel tilbyr et godt utstyrt konferanserom for opptil 15 personer, som kan benyttes gratis ifølge opplysningene vi så. Het Centrumhotel ligt midden in een levendige wijk. Bezwaar is dat het moeilijk bereikbaar is met de auto, maar die heb je dan ook niet nodig tijdens je verblijf, lopen was sneller. En parkeergelegenheid is tamelijk in de buurt.
