I had stayed in this hotel many years ago . To me, coming back to the hotel was a very pleasant surprise as it is now looking quite swanky. The decor is bright and subtle . Maintenance top class. The restaurant staff can be a little stiff especially the guy at the eggs counter . No smile , no acknowledgement of your order .He just goes about his job […] more as a duty to be done . Excellent hotel with good sized rooms and very friendly staff. Most hotels give a good rate and then charge for extras like water, internet etc but St Marks rate that I paid included all of the above. Would definately stay again in it.

We stayed in this hotel for a week in Jan 2012. This hotel is located in the city center. It is walking distance to shopping and everything. The stuffs are very friendly and professional. Breakfast is included. I would stay there if I happened to visit Bangalore again.

Gorgeous hotel, modern, stylish and luxurious. The breakfast is fabulous. Excellent location, very central and near UB City. Would definitely stay again and again. Highly recommended. Extraordinary for India, the best I have stayed in....by far.

We booked an executive room at the hotel and found that we had a lovely sitting room and large bedroom. It was beautifully appointed and the bathroom was wonderful. Lots of hot water. Great black out curtains if you also need to catch up on lost sleep from the journey. The hotel was well located though auto rickshaw drivers seemed unable to locate […] it. Their travel desk was not as helpful as it could be but they did eventually take us outside the hotel to someone who could advise and book train travel. Food was great, breakfast was included in the tariff and staff were attentive and the buffet layout was very good. We have booked another night there on our return before flying out from Bangalore. St. Mark's is a remarkable hotel. Our suite was gorgeous, very high-tech, with modern decor and yet so comfortable! The staff were very polite and always had something nice to say. I was pleasantly supprised, the hotel looks better than ever, great job as always. I am a 4th time resident of this hotel and it was wonderful as always.

As has now become my practice, I spent a good chunk of time assessing which hotel to use for my stay in Bangalore, consulting user comments on reputable and well know review websites. I arrived in the wee hours of the morning and check-in was a breeze, with all the paperwork ready such that I was in my room within about 5 minutes of arriving. The hotel […] was recently renovated, and it shows from the hallways through to the rooms, which are finished to a high spec. I can vouch that the photos on the hotel website, and on hotel booking sites, are a fair representation of what you find. I hope hotel management will ensure that the hotel will never look tired or worn. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. My room was always thoroughly cleaned on my return, and the attention to detail of the cleaning staff went as far as folding clothes that may have been lying about. Room service afforded a variety of options across all meal times, and at all hours, with meals arriving within a very reasonable period of time. There was reasonable choice for breakfast between western and Indian. I also dined at the hotel restaurant, Curry with a K, which offered a wide variety of food, including western fare. Service was very attentive. Complimentary wireless internet access, at 65Mbps, is available throughout the hotel. Should you wish to relax in front of the TV, there is a wide choice of channels in a number of languages. I can safely say that I will be very happy to stay at St. Mark's Hotel the next time I should happen to visit Bangalore. It's a little jewel of a hotel! Uzziniet vairāk

EXCELLENT HOTEL IN THE HEART OF THE CITY WITH GOOD QUALITY ROOMS WITH A GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF WAS VERY EFFICIENT. EVEN A COMPLAINT ON THE QUALITY OF TOILETRIES WAS ATTENDED TO PROMPTLY AND EVEN THE HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER FOLLOWED UP ON THE ISSUE ON THE NEXT DAY. We found the St. Marks hotel beautiful- immaculately clean and very tastefuly decorated. Our check in was smooth- the staff are exceptional. We were planned to stay for 3 days - but we stayed for 5 because of the lovely room and the staff.The food service at the restaurant and room service were excellent. We used the hotel car to the airport and the driver brought a note back to me when my sister's flight was cancelled and she needed to take a different route- that was really nice. The location is close to all shopping and sightseeing, and even though the city roads have a lot of traffic activity the noise level in the room was very low and acceptable. Bangalore is a sprawling and fast growing city so it was helpful to have a hotel close to the business district I was visiting. It's just a short walk to UB City. The hotel is apparently coming to the end of an extensive refurbishment program and the room was modern, stylish and comfortable. My husband and I chose this hotel for our last night in India, as it is close to the shopping and parkland. It is well located withing walking, or quick taxi, distance to MD Road and Commercial St shopping areas, and the UB Mall. Our room was of standard size, but very […] well presented and clean. we thought the bathroom, which has a window looking out into the bedroom, with a retractable blind for 'privacy', was a bit groovy. There was complimentary bottled water, and good quality toiletries. The breakfast, included in the room rate, was abundant and of excellent quality. It is served buffet style in the downstairs restaurant, with a chef to cook a wide range of dishes if desired. We could have eaten ourselves stupid if we wished, the food ranged from 'continental' dishes through to fresh fruits, Indian and Asian dishes, pastries and so on. The service was also very quick and polite. We planned to spend the day shopping for gifts and so on, and after discussion with the management, they agreed to give us a late check-out for no extra charge. They also offered us the use of a room for a short period, for no charge, at the end of the day before we left for the airport, so we could shower and change clothes before our flight. This was an extremely generous and welcome offer. Most of the other guests appear to be business folk, and the hotel is perfectly suited to business, with free cable internet and a business center. As a hotel for a short stay, particularly at the end of our holiday, we welcomed the clean comfortable room and convenient location, not to mention the very good service. Excellent no-nonse hotel at affordable price centrally located in Bangalore. Cubbon Park within walking distance as is the main shopping and restaurant area in Church St, MG road and Brigade road. Everything works effectively, from the restaurant to transportation.and the room was quiet, very well appointed and aestetically pleasing.
