Trump Soho New York — New York

This was the first time for us in New York. We went to celebrate my 40th and the hotel was great, they upgraded us to a room on a higher floor with spectacular views. A friend had recommended the SOHO area and it didn't disappoint. It's quieter than further up Manhattan but still within easy walking distance of everything. It has great restaurants and […] a real chic atmosphere. I want to go back again and I wouldn't hesitate to stay in the Trump. The staff were helpful and friendly and rooms beautiful. While pricey, I always have a great experience at the Trump Soho. And the location can't be beat. It is always my first choice.

There's nothing quite the same as the Trump Soho. The bed was so fluffy, the room was super clean, and the staff were all very friendly. Excellent stay, even though it was a short one.

An excellent hotel with wonderful service and quality surroundings. They cannot do enough for you. My only area of opportunity would be in the cleaning of the rooms, the bathroom was not cleaned well which was a shock to me. Restaurant was fantastic. Overall a great experience.

Beautiful hotel, great location, and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.

Overall a very good hotel excellently located in New York's trendiest region. Great location for the downtown financial area and for the Soho shops. Also great choice of restaurants in the vacantly . Staff were very helpful and the overall experience at the hotel was excellent......if a little pricey!

I travel the world and no one does it like the Trump family... I wish I could do a commercial for them. Every time the experience is better and better. No it is not inexpensive by Hotel.com standards, but worth every penny, peso, yen, or euro. Staff treats you like family, perfect location, and truly a home away from home.

This was our wedding anniversary.the staff was cordial and inviting.we received an upgrade to our room and champagne glasses were waiting for us.the view was spectacular.the sad part was that we couldn't stay longer.will be back next year.

Friendly staff from the front door forward; no New York attitude and when our room was not ready (at 6 pm!), we received a complimentary upgrade. We will return.

Almost perfect. The only thing I missed was an iron and ironboard in the room. Perfect for a weekend in NYC.

Great location for shopping ~ I LOVE NYC !!!

The view from our suite was perfect. Up town and bright. The windows were huge and allowed you to view the entire uptown portion of NYC in an amazing way. Front and center was the Empire State Building with green and red lights representing Christmas. The amenaties were plentiful. The beds were soft after walking for hours around NYC. great views and comfortable room. Staff was very friendly and courteous. 2 problems... 1. There was coffee service in the room but no tea bags. When I called to get a tea bag it too 45 minutes to get "tea service" with a significant room service charge and after the service person left there was no tea bag...just hot water , lemon and sweeteners. 2. […] We came with a pet kennel which was left in storage for the day of our departure. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were treated like VIPs. They allowed us to change rooms a few days into our stay to allow us to have a different view of the Manhattan skyline, which was nice. Free and easy access to wi-fi in the public areas of the hotel as well as two available computers and a large photocopier/printer in the office area […] of the lower lobby (which came in very handy for printing maps, menus, etc). TRUMP SOHO is a great Hotel!! The entire staff was professional and courteous. The Spa at Trump Soho was truly a bonus. I look forward to the entire experience at Trump Soho again real soon! Maybe I will try their signature Spa treatment next...

I went with my wife and 13 yrs old son to spend New Year in NY. (We travel 3-4 times a year, but was our first visit to NY). The hotel exceded our expectations. (And they were quite high). The staff friendliness, the quality of services were excellent. We also enjoy the modern design: nice colors, materials, lighting; modern equipments, a cosy espresso […] machine with complementary supplies - although some may find a bit unconfortable the absence of a door between the main bedroom and the bath-room. The views of the city were excellent as we stood in the 25th floor. The room (King Deluxe) is big enough for three persons, kept very clean (we notice 2 times per day the cleaning personnel made shure that all details were checked). An excellent experience. Great Hotel! Subway a blk away,diff ethnic restaurants nearby. Staff can tell u how 2 take the subway to diff. attractions,Timesquare,Ferry to Staten Island,so u don't have 2 pay for an expensive cab ride,staff was so helpful w/everything.They also give you nice slippers ea. night your there(free). Bed very comfortable! No complaints!

What a great hotel. Wonderful service and great rooms. I was in a Premiere King and it was worth it. My tub faced the Hudson River, bathroom was huge. Comfy bed. Wonderful all around. Great service in a busy season. Look forward to staying again.

I had been in Midtown at the St. Regis on business three days prior to staying at the Trump. We switched as my wide was joining me for a few days to explore Soho. I'm an avid reader of Hotel reviews and was somewhat concerned about comments regarding the quality of the room / furnishings, as well as negative feedback on regarding noise from adjacent […] rooms (paper thin walls). As for the first concern, I was not disappointed. While it isn't the St. Regis, I found the quality of the room furnishings and lay out to be comparable to most higher end hotels. Not St. Regis or Four Seasons quality, but appropriate and in relatively good condition. As for the reviews about adjacent noise issues, we did experience one minor issue as our neighbors coupled in the bath, which was directly behind the headboard of our bed. I made a very low level comment to my wife and it was clear they could hear us as well. I suppose we were lucky they were somewhat subdued. While the walls are not paper thin, noise seemed to carry more than other high end rooms I've stayed in. Aside from this minor issue (in our experience), we had a wonderful time. I've made nearly a hundred trips to Manhattan over the years and have stayed at most of the high end hotels from the Ritz at Battery Park to the St Regis. None have a view like the Trump Soho. In general, I suspect the average room at the Trump has better views than any other hotel in the city, given the zoning in Soho has not previously allowed anything near the height of the Trump. We had an expansive view from the Brooklyn bridge around ground Zero and up the Hudson past the park. Absolutely spectacular! As for the hotel staff, every interaction we had was professional and personal. I have a very high standard of service expectation and was not displeased in any fashion. We will be back! Fantastic hotel with a fantastic view (if you're on a high floor). Wonderful attention to detail, cool and stylish. Truly 5 star. My only reservation was that the bed was a little too soft. hotel is beautiful service great but location while driving is a pain and a killer can not make left can not make a right. garage close but can not get to because of traffic regualtions.

I booked this hotel for our 10th wedding anniversary and I was very impressed. We had a 1 br suite which overlooked the Hudson and the NYC skyline. The room was on the corner 24th floor and it was well worth it. I thought I would need a higher floor to get a good view...I was wrong. Service and location were excellent. I read that a guest complained […] about the elevator service. Well, I only waited for the elevator once for a few minutes. If that's all there is to complain about then this must be a great hotel! Great location, great bed. The lobby is freezing and the shower is so so. But apart from that it was a good experience.

If you plan to be in the business district around Wall street. One of my favorite in NYC. If room size matters don't book a standard room because it's too small, upgrade to one of the larger rooms. But hey it's NYC most hotels' rooms are a bit smaller than anywhere else. Great experience. Very courtious staff and the room was perfect with a beautiful view of the Hudson. The outdoor pool was hopping and the resturant was incredible. Try the Lobster and Branzino...delicious.

What an amazing hotel! From the moment we were greeted at the curbside staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The choice of aromatherapy hand towel presented at reception at check in was lovely after a long flight and car ride to the hotel. Complimentary water was given on arrival. I love that throughout the hotel, Trump bottled water was complimentary. […] Staff did not hover or overstay their presence waiting for a tip. Coming from a country where you do not tip we were happily tipping staff. What a wonderful bed turn down service. When leaving the hotel one night for dinner we mentioned where we were dining. On arrival at the restaurant we were presented with a glass of champagne complementary of the Trump hotel. Great hotel if you want to be in soho spa was a bit of a let down - overpriced and never any appts especially for the hammam but found it hard to fault anything else.

We were able to upgrade to a corner suite upon arrival, which was great, except that the first suite we were given had malfunctioning (ie, non-opening) drapes so the fabulous view we'd paid for couldn't be enjoyed. We moved to another suite, which was great except that the TV in the bedroom never worked and the drain in the bathroom sink was slow, neither […] of which were fixed despite our complaints-- plus the espresso machine stopped functioning by the 3rd day. It's a great-looking hotel, with stupendous views and a super-courteous staff, but for the amount of money we paid we shouldn't have had to deal with such Mickey Mouse malfunctions. Uzziniet vairāk

Initially impressed, staff was friendly and showed us our room. Our room was very clean adequate space, nicely decorated. Turn down service was good as well. Concierge was not overly helpful, instructions given to us were not clear, we needed to go to Woodbury Common, they initially told us there's a shuttle that can pick us up from the hotel, and […] then when we decided to go with it, he told us to go to the 2nd floor of port authority to collect our ticket and take the bus. When we arrived port authority, we arrived where we are taking the bus thinking that is where we collect our ticket, and they told us that we need to collect our ticket from first floor and then go to the bus (the concierge should know this information and should have told us!) The worst was the end, we had a Do not disturb sign on our door, and I had a knock on my door by house keeping, I was greeted by " checking out today?" in a rude tone, after I replied yes, the house keeper then said " what time?" in a rude tone again, and then she walked off after I answered her. For a supposedly 5 star hotel, I was impressed by the facilities, but utterly disappointed by the service. I do hope this is only a once off incident. Uzziniet vairāk

Excellent hotel in every way. From the very helpful staff to the lovely rooms with comfortable beds. Our room was on the 39th floor with perfect view. We had dinner brought up the first evening, and also breakfast the morning after. It was also excellent, but a bit pricy. When we were back in the evenings they had made our bed ready for sleeping, […] put chocolate and bottles of water on the bedside tables, put soothing night-music on and brought up a bucket of ice and two glasses.
