The Halcyon — Bath

Location was perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful. A room at the top - six flights of stairs gave me a room with a great view. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Great rooms, vlean and modern. Staff very welcoming and helpful, gave us good tips for activites in the town. And it's 2 minutes walk from the train station.

A fantastic location, our room was a bit small, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was dissapointed with the breakfast but on the whole would reccomend this hotel.

Wonderful location, very helpful and friendly staff, free wifi, no lift but the man who checked us in offered to carry our luggage up the stairs. No parking, but a reasonably priced lot nearby and very detailed instructions from the staff on how to get there.

The view from our top floor room was wonderful. The hotel is convieniently situated just a stone's throw away from the train station and town centre. It was comfortable and clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room did seem a little bit 'cosy' in size and there didn't seem to be a lift (we had to walk six flights of stairs), but other […] than that i would highly recommend and would definately stay there again. We stayed at The Halcyon for two nights at the end of Feb and were very pleased with the hotel. We called reception on our way to Bath and they were very helpful when telling us the best place to park, how to find it etc. When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist was very friendly and spent ages telling us things we could do and where the best […] restaurants were. The hotel is only two mins walk from the new Southgate shopping area and 5-10 mins walk from most restaurants. It was also my birthday whilst we were at the hotel and my fiance arranged with the hotel for flowers to be delivered to our room, which they were very helpful with and even included a birthday card from the hotel! We stayed in a standard plus room and the only thing I would say is that the room and bathroom weren't the biggest but were more than adequate for a couple of days, especially considering the city centre location. Great services and attitude from staff but let down by the small rooms and street noise (in spite of double glazing). Not sure if we would stay again because of the noise alone. A bit disappointed that the minibar has been taken out.

Hotel was great. Room was cosy, but decor was modern and clean and had everything we needed in it. Mini bar had refreshing content, more exciting than usual and resonable prices. Bar under the hotel made amazing cocktails and was perfect for relaxing in after a busy day out and about. Everything was within walking distance of the hotel including the […] Spa (5 mins), shops (2 mins) and restaurants. The receptionist on arrival at the hotel was amazing! Gave us a map and helped show us how to get where we wanted and gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations. Best food we have had in a long time. Would definately recommend and use again. Very mice hotel with ecellent service by the personnel. good location in the city entre, most sights are within easy walkning distane. Our room was a bit small which is the only thing we were a little bit dissatisfied with.

We enjoyed our stay at the Halcyon - with a couple of caveats. The location of the hotel is great, right in the centre of Bathh with all attractions, restaurants etc in very easy walking distance. The general standard of the hotel is good, with a smart modern feel - and the bar is great, particularly the cocktails! On the downside the rooms are small, […] even the 'deluxe' rooms (of which ours was one), and can get warm in the summer. And the lively atmosphere and location has a downside - it can be fairly noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. I should also say that the staff were very helpful and geniunely enthusiastic. We had reserved a deluxe room and were allocated an extremely small damp-smelling room with a really low ceiling. The bathroom was tiny with no bath but a decent shower. The hotel is in a very good location and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. We wouldn't book to stay there again as the room was so tiny and claustrophic, I dread to think […] what size the standard rooms are. This is a lovely hotel. The next time I visit Bath, I won’t even consider other hotels; I’ll just book here. Lovely clean and comfortable room. Nice breakfast selection in lovely comfortable surroundings.

Bath is a beautiful historical city. This hotel is within 15-min walk of all sightseeing spot, very convenient! And the breakfast is really great!

La pasamos muy bien en el Halcyon, el staff es de excelencia, incusive su manager, H{ector, que brinda un trato preferencial a cada huesped. Volvería de todas maneras. La ubicacion es excelente, algunas habitaciones mas grandes que otras, pero todas muy comodas y bien decoradas. Osmar

バース･スパ駅から歩いて３～４分、ホテルの前の桜が満開でした。バース･アビーとの中間くらいにあり、観光や食事に便利な立地です。 建物は古くエレベーターはありません。部屋も広いとは言えませんが、バスルームはバスタブも付き、そこそこの広さでした。全ての部屋がどうかは分かりませんが、私の泊まったツインの部屋は冷蔵庫がありませんでした。３月だったので特に気にはなりませんでしたが、暑い時期は不便だと思います。 朝食が７時半からとやや遅く、朝の早い出発には不向きです。 スタッフには若い人が多く、フレンドリーな対応には好感が持てました。
