Pleasant stay, except for the first night, when there was too much noise from I95. Our room was switched to one facing the inner courtyard, which was much better.

Great boutique-like hotel in quiet area. Stayed 9 nights and always looked forward to returning at night. Great breakfast in the morning. Understated elegance.

"Best thing about our power outage"
The best thing about our power outage is that we got to experience the Delamar Southport Hotel. Its location close to the train station was an added bonus.

From the well-appointed room to the concierge-style service of the friendly staff, we experienced a little taste of luxury in a quiet hotel off the beaten path. A perfect destination to get away from it all.

"Perfect place"
This is a quaint, luxurious, private boutique hotel. Very large rooms with high end decor and amenities. Romantic and private. Extra large comfortable beds. Super clean with great service. Fit for a King.
"Excellent service"
The top-quality service was the best thing about this hotel. We were in town for a funeral and needed help with finding a taxi big enough for a 6 people. We also used the free shuttle to go to and from a nearby diner with pancakes and waffles for the kids. (The hotel has a decent breakfast if you aren't too particular.) The front desk clerks, housekeeping […] staff and bellhops/shuttle drivers were extremely friendly. They let us print out our boarding passes the day before our flight. They brought extra Kleenex and pillows. The hotel provides a free small bottle of wine, 2 snacks and bottled water. (Out here, we always have to pay for water.) Note: The hotel restaurant is not open yet, It is a few blocks away from shops and affordable restaurants. There is a fancy bar/restaurant across the street. We actually ordered delivery from Fairfield Pizza both nights, and the pizza/pasta was excellent. The hotel does not have a great view from the windows, but you can walk to the ocean/port, which is about 6 or 7 blocks away. The neighborhood has some beautiful, older, fancy homes. We flew into New York and took a towncar to the hotel, arranged in advance through Exclusive Limosine. There is construction in NYC near the airports, so it would have been confusing and difficult to get on the I-95. Once in Connecticut, however, it seems like it would be easy to rent a car and get around the area. Uzziniet vairāk
"Very relaxing"
This is a high-end quite boutique hotel with very large rooms. It feels more like a luxury home then a commercial hotel. Very relaxing. Wonderful choice. 5 star level. Will stay there again.
Just stayed late May 2011. Very beautiful, small, hotel. Stayed for two nights. Outside part is being worked on, no restaurant, but I believe one is opening. There is restaurant/bar located directly across from hotel. People very friendly and personal that work there. Very clean, and comfy bed. Close to ferry to L.I. Right off of I-95. Amazing hotel! The staff was excellent and so accommodating to our needs. We had been traveling for a week, in a different hotel every night ,and this hotel was by far the best we stayed in!!
"beyond expectations!"
We arrived around 6pm on a friday night, went to a show, had dinner and woke up the next morning feeling as though we'd been away on vacation for a week! Excellent service, congeniality and the breakfast was more better tha expected!
