My husband and I were so impressed by the condition of our hotel, we decided to add another night to our stay. The breakfast was definitely the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. I have never woke up just for a hotel's breakfast hours but I did this trip!!! We will be looking out for other Comfort Suites at our future destinations.

Breakfast could run longer on Saturday and Sunday but other than that the room was excellent.

Booked the Comfort Suites after the other top hotels were all booked. Pleasantly surprised when I drove up....it sits on top of a hill and has a nicer feel then I expected. Nice room, super comfy bed, plenty of towels. Good free breakfast....eggs, bacon, sausage, a crockpot of sausage gravy, muffins, waffle maker, etc... Unfortunately, available plates […] were small, thin foam plates with little plastic silverware. It is almost impossible to eat a thick, crunchy waffle with plastic knife and fork. The Comfort Inn and Suites in Kingsport was terrific. The room was clean, spacious and nicely appointed. The staff was friendly, as well. We enjoyed our stay and now consider Comfort Inn and Suites to be a go-to property for future travels.

From the pictures and reviews online I felt it would be a fairly nice hotel, but I was surprised at the bathroom. I had never seen what should of been a nice bathroom look so bad. Whoever painted the room I stayed in (on ground level - never a good choice) apparently painted around the furniture & the light fixtures and did an awful job at that! It […] appeared to have been at one point a beige or light tan, but that was painted over with a lighter shade and the opposite walls were painted a dark red. The paint on the walls were overlapping, it looked really bad! Okay now the complimentary breakfast - generally these are not too bad, it's generally a little bit of everything so everyone has a choice. We were looking foward to being able to grab a bite to eat so that we could get back on our way home to South Carolina without having to make a stop for breakfast. WRONG!!!!! Absolutely nasty! First there was decaf (i don't drink# the regular was brewing in the back, the eggs which weren't ready finally came out were watery #no way they were real) & my last attempt at a bite to eat was sausage biscuit. The Air Conditioning system was not cooling properly on both nights and in 2 different rooms we used. The staff allowed us to move to another room both nights that we stayed there. Other than that, it was a lovely place. Just need to get that AC working properly. I think the freon levels were too low.

Plenty of room to spread out with the kids! Dual tv's in the room was an extra blessing as well as the love seat. Breakfast was excellent! Great value!

Very nice staff! Nice, big and clean room. Good selection for breakfast except eggs seem to be made not using real eggs, other than that great! We did not see the surrounding area since we got there after dark and left early, early. All-in-all was a great travel-through stop.

Was in Kingsport TN for a business conference. Had another hotel reserved and it got messed up some how. So we went to Comfort Suites after looking over all the hotels in the area. We where very surprised in the price to quality ratio. Very good quality rooms for very low prices. Would stay there again.

The only thing near this very nice chain hotel are other chain hotels and chain fast food restuarants, on an isolated hill off a busy highway right off the interstate. As a place to go and sleep it's terrific. The people couldn't be nicer and the hotel couldn't be more comfortable. But if you want to go "off campus" there's no place to walk to and the […] nearest food offerings are of the McDonalds variety. You are going to have to drive a bit to find anything more interesting. The comp breakfast is adequate and the business facilities (wi-fi, work area) couldn't be better. A good business hotel that would also accommodate a small family tagging along for the ride. Extremely happy with the desk clerk Matthew who was very helpful. Had a problem with the treadmill and he tried to get it working again. Beds were comfortable and we had a lovely breakfast there. Was also happy that we had internet available.

Woefully understaffed and/or undertrained. Worst breakfast in quality and operation at this type hotel ever experienced. Room cleaning totally inadequate. Will not choose this chain ever again after this experience.

They need to add towel racks and hooks in the bathroom. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Obviously a brand new hotel (4-2011), but they rushed it and did not complete some of the little things like caulking and moldings. Paint left a lot to be desired as well. Perhaps they intend to finish. The hotel was in a nice location near food and gas. Quiet. Good breakfast. flat screen TV's. Decent value for the money.

Excellent in every way. It is hard to beat new, but in this place the bed was big and comfortable, in fact I wrote down the name of the Mattress to buy myself one. If you do not need the full amenities of a Hotel (bar, bell hop, etc) then you cannot go wrong with a stay here! It is as close as you can get to such without shelling out the extra cost […] . I loved the hotel itself. Rooms were one of the best I've stayed in for my family for the great price. Lacked cribs as advised through reservation system however, The pull out couch/bed was very comfortable for my child and myself when lying her down for the night. Breakfast was good.
