The Union Hotel An Ascend Collection Hotel — Brooklyn

Small, serviceable hotel in a transitional Brooklyn neighborhood. Pros: The rooms and bathrooms are clean, and it's an easy walk from the R train. Cons: There is no lobby, just a desk in a vestibule upon check-in. The king room was two twin beds pushed together. It was convenient for our plans, so we were fine with staying here.

I liked this hotel. Bed was quite comfortable, the room was modern and clean. It was really tiny, however. Barely enough room for everything in the room. No lobby or reception area. However, the staff was helpful, the building was possibly a rehab and it was trendy and artsy. Great location, very central if you plan to spend a lot of time in Park Slope, and convenient to the subway. My friend got very sick and needed to stay in the room for a whole day-- the staff was so sweet and accommodating. They made sure she had food, went to get her medicine. My family owns a house on Degraw Street, so when all the apartments are rented and we need to check on the place we stay at the Union right down the block. The outside is nondescript with very limited signage so it can be hard to find. The rooms are VERY basic. The only light comes from the overhead. The king size bed is actually two twins pushed together. […] For the price and the convenience you really can't go wrong. The Union is consistently the cheapest hotel in the area, so if you are going to Brooklyn to experience Brooklyn and all you intend to do in the hotel is sleep, this is the best place for the money. My first experience with Union Hotel wasn't bad but It wasn't better than ever either. As a romantic trip just for something like 3 or 4 hours it good a little bit. I hope when i go back there if there is another chance the service would be better than the first time. A better service means that the housekeeper should be on time with the towel. The location is great for BAM. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. We could feel every spring in the mattress and hardly slept as a result. if they would get new mattresses, the hotel would be great.

Clean, comfortable, not too far a walk from Boerum Hill. But they would not give me a table lamp for reading, and it's in a fringy area. Otherwise, very nice, responsive people and not too far from other desirable areas.

I have stayed at a number of hotels in Brooklyn and this hotel is by far my favorite place to stay. Comfortable clean beds great service and its in a great location couldn't ask for more.

The room was beyound small but, was very pretty!

Got in very late. Crashed immediately. Woke up with a sore back and realized that I'd slept on a box spring. No mattress. For the price, I would stay there again if I could sleep on an actual bed. The room is the size of a large closet, but again.. For the price. Internet didn't work in my room so had to connect in the kitchen lounge in the basement. […] There was no heat down there. If you are only concerned about price, then this hotel is a good value. The decor is modern and attractive, however the room was extremely small, basically a bed and little more. The shower is tiny with very little water pressure. The bed was not very comfortable, but tolerable. There is no lobby to speak of, only a small registration desk, very European […] in style. There are no amenities here, and the free breakfast is actually at a cafe 2 blocks away. When I asked for a taxi to be called, I actually got a private car service which was more expensive than a city taxi. I personally would not stay here again because I like a little more in the way of convenience, but if you just need a place to sleep and nothing more, it's okay. Uzziniet vairāk

20 degrees all weekend and when we got to our room the temperature was 51 degrees in the room. It never really got warm them Very uncomfortable. The lobby is the size of a closet that this lady sits in with a space heater and her coat on. Hotel is good related to the price. Location is good, near to subway. There were very noisy guests who were yelling and throwing things in the middle of the night, but the hotel administration dealt with it. Suggest to write a sign to keeping quiet and not disturbing the quests and also telling it to the guests at the check-in process.

The hotel is in a weird location - on a local street, surrounded by industrial-like buildings. However, it's very close to lots of restaurants in park-slope, along 5th avenue. Once inside, the room had a modern feel, and room was nicely decorated with a very New York flair. Amenities included a flat screen tv and free wifi. One negative was that what […] was promoted as a queen sized bed, was actually 2 twins pushed together! This made for a very uncomfortable sleeping arrangement, where one can easily fall inside the space between the beds! A positive was that a free breakfast was included at a local diner 2 blocks over. You can order from a selection of options, including pancakes, eggs, homefries, coffee, orange juice, etc, all freshly made. Overall, it was a suitable hotel for the price paid. Uzziniet vairāk

JFK空港からであると、地下鉄A線のHoyt Schermerhorn駅から歩いて2kmほどあります。しかし、ホテルからマンハッタン島まではunion st駅かatlantic av駅から乗り換えなしで行けますし、駅も1km以内で近いです。ホテル周辺にはデリが何箇所かあり、そこまで不便じゃないです。ホテル自体は、一見わかりにくいです。部屋はベッドが8割を占めていて、TVやクローゼットがあります。まぁ狭いですが問題ないかと。シャワールームも清潔ですし、何よりインターネットは無料無線LANが各部屋にあり、速度がとても早かった。受付の人も、二十代の女性店員さんでした。

Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, aber das Hotel war sauber und ruhig, das Personal engagiert und freundlich. Das Frühstück im nahegelegenen Restaurant hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Das Hotel ist super.Man muss sich einfach vor Augen halten,dass man in New York ist,da sind die Zimmer in den Hotels dieser Preiskategorie einfach sehr klein.Dafür wird man mit einem hübschen Bad und einem leckeren Frühstück entschädigt. Das Frühstück wird in einem typisch amerikanischen Cafe,nahe der U Bahnstation serviert.Das Personal ist freundlich […] und der Inhaber fragt jeden Tag,ob es der erste Morgen in New York ist.Wir hatten unseren Spaß und würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.Unbedingt abends mal durch die Smith Street schlendern.Nette Restaurants und sehr freundliche Menschen etwas abseits des Trubels.
