Bed & Breakfast Vitoria Regia — Rio de Janeiro

This Bed and Breakfast is hosted by two local artists with excellent english, and the first thing you notice when walking in, is their amazing artwork on the walls of this several story, beautiful house on the mountainside. They welcome you with fresh fruit and take you to your room with a balcony overlooking Ipanema beach and Lagoa with a perfect sunset […] view! Easy, inexpensive taxi rides and close proximity to the bus stop take you to Copacabana or Ipanema beaches within 5 minutes. A short walk from their house takes you around the Lagoa to the Botanical Gardens and Parque Lage. The breakfasts all include more fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, coffee, fresh bread, yogurt and more! We stayed for one week and wished we were staying longer. It's a beautiful house and I recommend it to anyone looking to stay in a quiet neighborhood in a quiet house, but close to all the action. Amazing! Uzziniet vairāk

El servicio y la atención son incomparables, es como tener una familia lejos de casa. Hasta me enviaron un mail con instrucciones de cómo llegar desde el aeropuerto y qué taxis eran los más baratos. Se me complicó pagar porque recién estando ahí me enteré de que no aceptaban tarjeta, pero fueron muy pacientes y hasta me prestaron dinero para el taxi […] el primer día. El lugar es hermoso, lleno de obras de arte hechas por los dueños, y con vista a la laguna y las montañas. Los desayunos, exquisitos y abundantes. Estar arriba de un cerro tiene ventajas y desventajas (una vista increíble pero difícil acceso, tuve que tomar taxis todos los días), y hay que subir varias escaleras para llegar a la habitación, aunque cuentan con mini ascensor/montacargas para el equipaje. La conexión a Internet anduvo bien, y la ducha en general también (sabiendo qué hacer cuando se apagaba el calefón), y tanto los dueños como su perro fueron muy agradables. Uzziniet vairāk

We stayed in this nice B&B (outside the city centre) just before Christmas. Despite our late arrival (after midnight) we received a warm welcome with a cold drink from the owners. We could choose our room with either double bed/balcony overlooking the city or 2 single bedroom. The view from the balcony is lovely. The breakfast is fresh made and the […] owners gave us many intersting tips/information. The B&B is located on top of a hill, but Pedro offers a (free of charge) ride down to the lake, which was very friendly and highly appreciated b y us. Vi bodde här i seks dagar och trivdes väldigt bra. Enkelt att gå ner för backen och ta buss til ipanema eller Copacabana. Sju och tretton min med buss ca. Dom vi bodde hos var så trevliga och hjälpte oss med allt vi ville! Perfekt få vi inte visste nått om Rio innan. Väldigt intimt dock så man måste tycke om att vara social :-)

Super widok z okna na jezioro Lagoa. Wyjazd z domu tylko taxi. Gospodarze pomocni i bardzo mili. Polecam dla lubiących spokój po wrażeniach z Rio.

Peter et Monica ont été d'une gentillesse dès notre accueil.Les chambres sont confortables dans leur maison sur les hauteurs de Rio donnant une vue magnifique sur le Lagoa. Le seul bémol est l'emplacement un peu isolé de leur B&B car on ne peut y accéder qu'en taxi, à moins de prendre son courage à deux mains et de monter le morro (la butte à pied!). […] Sinon le petit déjeuner est copieux, généreux, et Peter & Monica n'ont pas manqué d'ingéniosité et de gout quant à la décoration et l’aménagement de leur B&B.Tous deux bilingues (Portugais, et anglais, Peter parle pas mal le français et en redemande).
