It was more than I expected. This is a new hotel a block away from the Austin Convention center, literally surrounded by great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and attentive. This hotel is fairly new and in pristine condition. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Continental breakfast had many options. The workout facility had plenty of modern equipment (free weights, 3 treadmills, bikes and one weight machine) and free headphones, water & towels. We walked everywhere except to SoCo, took a short cab ride. Even […] printed our boarding passes in the lobby. Only complaint we had was that we were on the 6th floor and could hear sirens and street noise. Wish we would have gone with a higher floor but we didn't complain to the hotel. "Great Downtown Destination"
It was great to stay so close to the Action of Austin. This hotel is a bit far from the 6th Street activities, but there are great restaurants right next door and it is close to the park and trails.Patiesa Hotels.com viesa atsauksme

Overall, very pleased with the hotel stay, Price, service and location are great.The AC vent over the bed is unfortunate as it blasts cold air right on you while you are sleeping and the staff isn't super familiar with the area yet - but they were extremely welcoming.Patiesa Hotels.com viesa atsauksme

I enjoyed the stay. Very easy and very, almost too friendly staff! I loved the location too. I was able to walk to all the yelp/tripadvisor recommended locations. Also, very close to bus stops, making commuting around Austin a Breeze, even for a first time visitor like myself. I will be back!Patiesa Hotels.com viesa atsauksme

The hotel was nice but not the best Hyatt Place we have stayed at. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice but the beds where not comfortable. Also, the eggs for the breakfast tasted like they were fake. Otherwise, everything was nice.Patiesa Hotels.com viesa atsauksme

"Friendly, no frills comfort in good location"
The hotel is new and clean, and our room was spacious. It has comfortable beds and nice flat screen TV. The people behind the front desk are very friendly and helpful. We never tried the complimentary breakfast, which is served in the lobby. There's a bar and a Starbucks-type coffee and pastry counter. The location is very convenient for the Convention […] Center. You can't be much closer. There's a good, low-key crepe cafe around the corner for breakfast or lunch. It's close to Congress street and the bridge over Congress which crosses the lake. A short walk to 6th Street activity. We walked everywhere from the hotel. Only inconvenience is that there's a lot of construction going on nearby with many of the sidewalks closed. I absolutely loved my stay. The staff were so friendly and the hotel was beautiful. It was perfectly located for the track meet that I attended. The children that were with me were so impressed and amazed by how helpful and nice everyone was. They were also impressed with the breakfast.
