A relaxing short break - as always
A great little cottage by the sea. Perfect views, gentle beach walks, a paddle up the river in the afternoon, watching the light fade, glass in hand, in the garden of an evening. We love it here.

Old style house, great location
Exactly as the website depicts. A step back in time with many old fashioned touches, but clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The huge back yard and view across the water to Maria Island are magnificent.

Home away from home
was looking for somewhere nice and quiet for a few days of relaxing - this was everything I was after - both myself and my daughter (17) really liked how homly the place was + Darwin (toilet trained rabbit) enjoyed his stay too lazing infront of the heater :) Thanks Julie.

Orford Beach House
The beach house at Orford is a gem. It has a modest entry but then reveals itself as you enter and has a magic view of the river. It is from another era but very comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches. Delicious apples on the trees and a walking track along the river at the bottom of the garden. We appreciated being able to bring our little dog with us- she enjoyed the back verandah and garden.

Fantastic location
We had a great time. The kids loved it. The property is waterfront, with a view over Maria Island. Property is older style, but clean and comfortable. Perfect location.

Great location for easy access to the beach
We enjoyed our stay. The house is quaint, but it had everything we needed, and some extra little touches such as hand lotion, plenty of heating, good shower, comfy lounges. There needs to be instructions left for how to use the air conditioner for heating in the winter, as we had trouble getting it going. But it did work once we got it going.
