Harbour View Boutique Hotel & Yoga Retreat

This place was nice. The main trouble we had was that we were notified that the pool had just been treated with a chemical and we would have to wait until the evening to use the pool. The whole reason we chose this inn is so we could burn time in the heat while we waited for our flight out of Belize. The manager refunded us a little money, which was nice.

A very quaint place and quiet. It is close to the ferries to the islands Caye Cauker and Amberis Cayes.

Superb choice for an overnight in Belize City. Clean, safe, walking access to good food.

We only stayed at this property for one night while on transit to San Pedro, but really enjoyed our stay. Cottages are clean and comfortable while secure. We enjoyed our meals at Martha's Cafe across the street. Great food with wonderful harbor and ocean views. Easy taxi ride from Belize City airport and walking distance to the water taxi terminal makes this a great location. Pools were lovely but we weren't there long enough to enjoy them. Highly recommend!

Easy check in with friendly reception. Great location for cruise travelers. The famous BELIZE sign is right around the corner. Walk to the ports, ferries and central downtown Belize City in minutes. Area's a bit sketchy after dark though. Cottages were very basic. Netflix, iron, hair dryer, liquid soap & shampoo included. Shower's super small & tight (approx 2x3). Shower head should be replaced with a hand held since you can't move around easily in there. Brown bath towels were rough and visually unappealing (most hotels use white linens for a reason!) No extra blankets and the fleece one provided was forlorn, small and not warm. Pillows too soft and uncomfortable. Exterior of property looked well kept. Main pool is small and poorly situated. Couldn't see myself using it. Second pool also unappealing. Key code entry to the property and room a big plus for security. Hammock and porch were awesome. I definitely took advantage. The birds. OMG, the birds. They were so loud and obnoxious early in the AM & late at night. There's no sound attenuation at all so you'll hear them, along with partying and music coming from other hotels nearby. Light sleepers beware! Restaurant next door was quite overpriced. Overall accommodations were adequate if you're staying for a night or two and want to explore the city. Also not heavily trafficked if you're looking for something more low-key than a chain hotel. But definitely not the most relaxing place to be. Final grade: C+

Fun to have spacious comfortable quiet cottage, with large porch for enjoying cool breezy evenings & refreshing rain storms. Small fridge & micro. Steps to park with snacks & drinks. Walking distance to downtown.

Loved having a cozy cottage to relax in, wake up in, go to sleep in and make memories in! The location is extremely convenient, being close to water taxis, the ocean, downtown and local eateries. Martha’s Café across the street is a gem for all meals and for the view :)
