Barceló Emperatriz

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, nice roof terrace, comfortable and clean room with bath and separate shower, convenient location in lovely area of the city.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room and hotel itself was lovely. My only issue is for a hotel that was recently remodeled, there should be way better insulation. We could hear virtually every movement from the people above us so it was noisy in that aspect which I had read from some other guests, but now I know. But the staff was great.

Location is bit out of citycenter, need a taxi to go city center

Room was lovely, bed super comfy with choice of pillows and huge flat screen TV. Was a little surprised with such a new 5* hotel that the tea and coffee facilities were a bog standard kettle and sachets, have been in lesser rated hotels with Nespresso or Tassimo machines. Water was complimentary and toiletries were great. Didn't eat in the restaurant but the rooftop bar and pool were an added bonus.
