Fairfield Inn Marriott Niles

Was not told this hotel was under extreme renovations at time of booking. Pool and Breakfast as well as vending machines were NOT available. Public restroom was moved to 2nd floor next to our room, hearing noise all evening.

Under renovation, the room was nice but everything else was torn up and unavailable including breakfast and pool

Extremely nice staff!

We had a very nice stay in a newly rennovated room and the customer service was exceptional! However the door to the room was not fitted very well and you could hear every single little thing going on outside of the room. We put a towel across the bottom of the door and turned on the bathroom fan to help mask the sounds so we could sleep. The door wasn't sealed properly or at all and light was shining through the entire door. Otherwise, we had a very comfortable stay

Nice, place is dated

I was absolutely flabbergasted when I discovered that the mattress was not covered!! Gross. Gross gross. Should have mattress cover to keep others body fluids off!! Not to mention to prevent bed bugs. Again gross!! Shane on you. I will hesitate to book ANY. Fairfield from this point. Also this hotel pet friendly and we got to listen to dog across the hall barking. Hotels are not the place for this. We were in town for a funeral and got zero rest the night we were there.

The front entrance was under construction but we never heard any noise. We appreciated the heads up when we booked so we knew it was happening and where to go! The hotel is nice but some items are a little dated; the mattress in our room being one of them and I am told the bathrooms will get updates in the next part of the renovation too, which will be good for the facility. The all day coffee bar was really nice, and the breakfast options were fantastic. The best part of our stay was the breakfast attendant—she was kind and helpful and friendly, and even made sure my kids could reach stuff and my hubby had a plate of food before the breakfast closed at 10am (he was still showering when we came down). Excellent service!!

Hotel is currently under construction and was not advised until 3/4 days before arrival. Parking was horrible because only one side of hotel was available to park. However the hotel was clean and most staff were very pleasant.

The Motel is under external renovation, not mentioned on internet, which meant using an alternate enterence which doubled as the smoking area and with a person with COPD it amounted to walking through a gas chamber. Also the substitute enterence was ramped and for a person with knee and hip issues who just road 10 hours proved a challenge. Also, the hotel is pet friendly, as we found out when going to our room and we had no way of telling that the last occupants of the room were dogs. As for the continental breakfast, neither the scrambled eggs or the scrambled eggs were hot enough to melt the cheese. .The desk clerk was always someplace else and had to be hollered for to come from the back to wait on the customer, and she did so with the attitude that she was doing a favor not her job..
