The LaLiT New Delhi

Great breakfast, very comfortable room, wonderful staff. We enjoyed three different stays here during our one month trip to India. However, when the lockdown started, the administration effectively asked us to leave so they could shut down the hotel and they were not as helpful as other hotels in helping us to secure other accommodations. Overall, enjoyed the LaLit very much and would stay here again.

Because of corona virus this hotel that I have stayed many times at least 25 times over 2 years increased the price of food and lower the quality.when I checked in there was no WiFi for1 day and next day all but two television channels were not working saying on screen to pay the bill.Because of no WiFi I had to make a call about my flight and the attendant told me it would cost 5 dollars per minute. I’m diabetic and had insulin that needs refrigeration.I told them the fridge is not working and they changed the fridge which also did not work so I had to get ice to keep my medication The worst treatment you can ever have when you pay to stay in a 5 star hotel

We are living in difficult times . The hotel has obviously decided to cut back as much as possible in a period when there are fewer and fewer people staying at the hotel. Dimly lit public areas , no internet connection , little in the way of compromise for customers who were obviously experiencing real travel problems and no internet connection for at least 2 days . It looks like some people may be stuck in India due to the Lalit’s changing position because of the virus snd the effect it was having on their business . Throughout all this the staff remained absolutely wonderful, from reception, to porters, to concierge and cleaners ... they were tremendous in very challenging conditions and no task was too big for them, and a smile and warm reception every time we met them .... they were probably unsure of their jobs but their professionalism shone through . Well done team !! We have stayed at the Lalit many times ... the business needs to weather the storm and not ruin its goodwill by being narrow minded whilst customers were still there . I think management has been a bit naive at this moment in time .... I hope they can bring the hotel back to its glory days !!

Slow service but otherwise centrally located. Good breakfast.

The LaLit is located right in central Delhi and convenient to everything. This is the second time that I have stayed here and it is wonderful. The woman at the hotel reception upgraded me to a premium room and it is just that, premium. I travel to Delhi once a year and it is comforting to know that a luxury hotel exists close to Connaught Place that is so wonderful. The woman at the front desk last night escorted me to my room and was full of great information for me. As a traveler I especially appreciate the local insights. An A+ for LaLit. Thank you

Worst hotel I've stayed in for years. nowhere near 5* would be lucky to get 3* status in most countries. Would avoid this chain and find one of the many numerous excellent hotels in Delhi

It was a very a good trip

The LaLiT breakfast is definitely one of the highlights of this property what I wasn’t to impressed with is the efficiency of the spa

Every thing was very good only calling to the hotel for booking etc was very bad
