Flamingo Beach Hotel

Rooms clean and tidy, staff friendly and efficient, food was not the best but then the price we paid we didn' mind eating out. Right opposite the beach but a good walk into town.

Very basic, no tea or coffee making facilities in rooms. A total refurbishment as rooms very tired and well used.

I only stayed overnight for a Christmas party and would have liked some hot water to have a bath or shower. The plug did not keep the water in but it didn’t matter anyway because it was nearly cold. Room was clean but definitely needs refurbishing. Party room was nice but food lukewarm although very tasty.

I would never stay here again; the bed was so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep in it and the service was cold, probably one of the worst hotels in Larnaca.

Nicely situated for the airport. Breakfast was a bit disappointing they ran out of coffee at 9.30 it was not refilled as breakfast finished at 10.

The service was excellent. We had a change of flight plans and came in exhausted. They got us a room as soon as possible. Awesime service.

The Flamingo beach Hotel is at a great location right across the beach. It is a nice beach for kids as the sea is shallow and there are barriers on the sides to prevent waves. Mackenzie beach is very close where yo can find bars, pubs, cafes, restaurants and playgrounds, toilets and showers. It is very convenient if you have small kids with you. Mine is 4 years old and enjoyed every second. The hotel is clean, the shower is great. It is outdated and the common areas are a bit run down but I have no complaints. Staff was great, bar lady really lovely. For the price I have paid I really have no complaints and would go back. Swimming pool and top floor bar we’re closed when we visit at the end of April but I guess it stays open only in the summer. It was a hot day and it would have been nice if the pool was open. Breakfast was ok, could be improved, but it did have warm and cold choices, cereal, yogurt, cake, coffee was bad. I would go back for the price/benefit specially because of the location and the amenities in the area for families with young kids.

The proximity to the airport and the fact that there is public transportation nearby. The breakfast was also very good. We were disapointed by the lack of electronic adapter in order to charge our phones and the lack of hot water in the bathroom during the evening.

It is located right on the beach! The hotel itself is not amazing, but it is perfectly adequate and the location makes up for what it lacks.
