Bahia Principe Sunlight Costa Adeje - All Inclusive

This property was nice. There was only one heated pool which was often full and they had other pools unused because they were not heated. We had a king size bed and the mattress was awful, very hard and uncomfortable. The food at the Al la cartes was very good. The buffet food was mediocre being that it was usually cold, and not fresh. The amenities were nice and staff were pleasant.

Family friendly resort. Staff friendly and cleanliness excellent. Buffet good for breakfast and lunch, but evening meals a bit hit and miss. Trying to cater for all tastes but some of the food falls short. Book immediately upon arrival for on site restaurants and free bus service from hotel to Playa America’s and they are very busy. Sprawling resort so if you have mobility needs suggest you contact hotel direct to discuss options. Infinity pool not heated, but main central pool is, but busy with children and water games. Evening entertainment on stage was amateurish. Different Duo playing each evening on the terrace were ok. Chilly in the evenings during our stay so recommend wrap or light cardigan.

Good resort. It is very big. If you have people with mobility issues or disabilities, request a room closer to the restaurant. The staff are all very nice. They do not offer room service so you have to go to the restaurant to get your meal. Upon check in they are very brief. You have to rely on the hotel map in order to get around. The hotel room numbering is awful as the hotel is on an island full of mountain rock therefore the slope is evident in the room numbers. We had a good trip with some minor snags as mentioned above.

We have two young children and this was the first time we’ve done an all inclusive holiday. We really enjoyed it and would do it again. I thought the hotel was great-really clean, really nicely landscaped and super places for a drink/coffee with a view. The staff were really helpful and friendly and kind to the kids-for example we asked for some milk for the kids on the first night and they gave us a bottle of it to keep in the fridge in our room. Heated pool was also excellent for kids with lots of shallow stepped areas for them to play. It was warm enough and big enough and it didn’t matter that the other pools were a bit too cold to swim in in February. The food was pretty good-excellent salads, lots of variety, better than I was expecting. My only criticism would be that there was a small playground by the pool fine for our one and two year olds but hotel would really benefit from a bigger playground with swings etc for slightly older kids. Junior suite was plenty big enough for the four of us. Overall we had a great time.

It’s clean, well kept and has character. Every consideration is made for guest comfort and enjoyment. Enough sun loungers for all, 3 lovely pool areas (although only one was warm enough to swim in) The food is good and the service in the buffet and other restaurants is excellent. The night time entertainment was good, some nights better than others, but overall excellent. The staff are mostly friendly and helpful and even the less friendly ones are not unpleasant, just more reserved. We only had two small dislikes ( very small and unimportant) we like to use our balcony and the view wasn’t the best and it rarely got any sun, as I said, not really a problem as such. The other little niggle for me was the shower curtain was too short and try as we might, we couldn’t help soaking the bathroom floor. As I said, just small things. Overall a lovely hotel which we would definitely recommend.

Very noisy too many children running lose ,music very loud to 11 pm

Welcoming, family feel to the property. Plenty of places to watch the world pass by.
