During the Corona virus outbreak, it was awful. Those guys was making everything so complicated, even for their own breakfast tokens , they did not want to take it . The customer service was brutal, so condescending , but there was no choice , had to use the hotel for work.

Wonderfully close to nain Berlin touristic area.

Nice and cheap, good location. All you can eat breakfast sets you up for the days sightseeing. Front desk very helpful with taxi and train information.

The room was clean and enough space for two people. We had a good nights rest and are happy with our stay

As far as hostels go, this was by far best we stayed in. The stay was over the Christmas and NY period, the prices were very reasonable too. Due to its popularity be prepared to wait for a long period whilst checking in or if you need something from the reception staff. Location wise it quite close to Alexander Platz we chose to walk on most days (about 25 minutes walk), or you can take the bus from the stop adjacent to the hostel and then the U Bhan.

I enjoyed my first visit in the a+o hostel in Berlin. The building is massive, lots of rooms and lots of space and colour. A massive social room which houses reception, bar, food, tv etc. A breakfast room also massive. My room was more than enough space for me and another person (fantastic when you have it to yourself). The bathroom small, in my room at least( single room) but double bed. Bedding was nice. Duvet good and warm. A TV . A hairdyer in bathroom. Everything you need really. Rooms for everyone. Groups,families, couples and solo travellers. Oh nearly forgot black out curtains too!! They have a noise policy for respect for other guests. Which is good. The only tiny wee bit i was unimpressed with was i didn't enjoy many things from the buffet breakfast, a wee bit sad as food is life to me lol and the other thing, my neighbours on my last night there obviously couldn't read and were SUPER NOISY( so much so I wanted to get up and boot their arses! I hoped there were no families on this floor or above or underneath them as they carried on to nearly midnight. This is a reflection on them not the hostel. Guess its just your luck. I would definitely to everyone to book a room here. Staff were also friendly, polite and helpful. I had no problem being understood. 10/10

The linens and towels were unexpectedly nice and soft. This made sleeping easier and nice soft towels were really good after a shower. For a moderately priced hotel/hostel this is greatly appreciated.

There aren't enough desk staff, so even asking a question takes forever at reception. The price is acceptable, the location is too far from the center, the rooms are tiny, and there's nothing included (no parking, no breakfast).
