El Rancho Hotel

I wanted to stay here cause of the history. And when you first walk in it’s like your walking back in time. Used the old way of unlocking your room door... with a key. Room was definitely out dated but that goes the history. Didn’t feel or see anything out the unusual as far as ghosts. However we booked a room facing the street didn’t sleep well due to the train passing by every few minutes blaring it’s horn and not to mention any loud cars that passed by. I wouldn’t stay again

If you love old Hollywood, you’ll love this Hotel ! Look it up online, it’s fabulous!

This place is amazing. Probably even more amazing if it wasn’t covid lockdown. I would love to come back in the summer when everything reopens. I am only traveling bc of an emergency circumstance. Everyone was really friendly, decor is incredible. A piece of old American Nostalgia. They also have a porch with rocking chairs for those who smoke. Area surrounding is a little run down, be sure to remove valuables from your car, just to be safe.

This was a great spot. I seriously loved it. It was dated to be sure, but very clean and comfortable and the dated look made it so cool. As noted, the bathrooms were small, but the whole hotel was fun, lively, people were out playing games and eating. The decor was so fun. Such a nice change from the sterile hotels on 40. I would go for vacation, go for fun, go for memories. All of the old movie pictures, beautiful native paintings, the staircase was so fun. I really recommend it. Just get past the red curtains in the room. It adds to the charm and everything looks really nice and clean.

The hotel is really historic and cool. There are little paintings directly on the walls in all the corridors and the lobby has a lot of interesting decorations and photos of movie stars who stayed here. The front desk staff was exceptional, very friendly and ran upstairs to get the elevator for us. The gift shop is great too. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so I.

Everything was excellent but the bathrooms so tiny you cant wash your face properly. Seems historical and beautiful.

I thought this place was really cool looking when I booked it and still think so after staying there! It is OLD...so take that into consideration. Our bathroom was small and kind of funky shaped...which I thought was just kind of quirky and fun. The elevator is original...which was pretty cool also! The bed was comfy plenty of pillows, hot water was immediate and our room was nice and warm. We enjoyed our one night stay :)

An absolute gem! A great little Historic spot that is clean & comfy. Can’t wait to return.

It was just Ok. Nothing too special about our stay.
