Park Inn by Radisson Danube Bratislava

I was upgraded to a Superior room and very small room, no table or chair to work on computer, wifi very poor, room very hot. I requested to change my first room because found a bug on curtains. I will rate this hotel as 2 star rather than 4 star. There are better hotels in BA in this rate and more comfortable.

Pool closed, but thats not the hotels fault. But the gym (the main reason for staying) only opening at 8am is too late! The breakfast (charged at full rate) was minimal. Asked to wear face mask, which is fine and done. But some staff and guests not doing so. Hence pointless.

My husband and I went there to celebrate my birthday. The staff is really nice and helpful. The room was clean and had a good space. The hotel is near everything and we could go everywhere just walking. The only problem was about the swimming pool, we had to pay to use it and it was really awkward as we didn't see anything about that on website. Why we have to pay if we stay there?

Initially given an inner room when a City View had been booked, returned to reception and they swiftly gave me a different room with a perfect view. Room was hot, did usual of opening window and turning thermostat down/off, still had to sleep with window open despite it being Jan/Feb for both nights! Bed really comfortable, good breakfast and overall would more than happily stay again.

Checkin at night took 10 minutes without queue. Cannot even imagine how long would it take if reception has more people staying in line. Extra money locked from my card account were not unlocked on checkout.

The location is great and staff is very helpful. the room was clean and well furnished. Unfortunately, facing the river also meant being in front of a very busy road. the room was extremely warm, even without the heater on but opening the window lead to us getting distrurbed by all the buses and cards outside.

Excellent hotel. Great location. Rooms were comfortable and staff was very nice. Breakfast had a good number of options.

The service and over all stay was pleasant. However, parking was an issue. When making a reservation it was indicated that parking was available. The unpleasant surprise was Euro 32.00 cost of parking over night. The cost was disproportionate to the cost of the hotel. It would be advisable to disclose the cost of parking up front to avoid perhaps unpleasant surprise. Of cause it may lead to some lost of bookings.
