This is an excellent, new hotel with modern state of the art amenities and service. Right in the heart of Riga, my room was great!

Great staff, great hotell, great beds, great location!

I was visiting with a Russian Friend and I inadvertently used Russian language to the receptionist at check in to say thank you. My friend had been speaking Russian with others, in shops, restaurants, etc earlier in the day and I didn’t understand there may be an issue. She said to me, in front of my friend that that she didn’t like to hear Russian; that it wasn't good to use in Latvia. I apologised and ask her to help me say it in Latvian which she did My friend reported this to the manager who apologised Also whilst we were sleeping, we were woken in the night by a knock on our door which was very alarming . When I asked who was there, no one replied. It was quite a scary mone

Lovely hotel, great location, can't really fault it. Staff were okay, not overly friendly but not unfriendly either. For a weekend break, you can't get better - it's literally a stone throw away from the Old Town and great shops and restaurants.

Great location. Walking distance to old town. Lot of eateries. Safe. Quiet. Closer to railway station. Very helpful, pleasant and courteous staff.

I stayed 2 times in a couple of weeks. First time (business trip alone) I was surprised with the bad bed conditions. Knowing Radisson so well I thought it was just bad luck. Second time (holiday escape with family) again very bad so clearly it is this hotel that is not having the good conditions. The bed was soft and you would go deep making it hard for the back. Privacy was the main issue we didn't like. The first time I didn't care that much as I was alone but the second I was with my family. If you don't have a park view expect little or no privacy as all windows are towards the inner yard and facing each other. What is also unpleasant is the toilet. It is a sliding door that you can actually see through and therefore also not sound proof. Lack of privacy on both fronts. Last but not least, extra charge. For the second visit I made a reservation for 3 including child. When I arrived they said that the room has a king size bed (and a bad one) so they don’t give an extra bed. If we wanted then we needed to pay extra. This took the cost per night to a luxury hotel rate (already too expensive) and that is honestly speaking not worth it. Wanted to eat at the hotel but decided to walk because we didn’t like this. Result for me at least is never back to this Radisson because there are 2 more in just a few blocks and they are much better.

The hotel is well placed in Riga to get about by foot. It is also a very comfortable hotel.
