Sierra Vista Extended Stay

Could not get a hold of the hotel when I needed to make accommodations for a later check in due to a delayed flight. I called over and over and kept getting a busy signal. Was on the phone with Hotels.com for an hour while they tried to do the same thing and couldn't reach the hotel. When they finally did get the hotel, they refused to let me switch the first night of my five day stay, but insisted there would be someone at the desk to check me in at 3am. When I did arrive at 3am, the lobby was dark and locked. Finally I got someone to respond who came sleepily stumbling out of room. She was very unfriendly. From that point on, during my whole stay, I never actually saw anyone at the front desk. At one point I stood around waiting for 20 minutes for someone to show up to get help with a key card that stopped working. Quality of the room was what I expected for the price, but the overall condition of the hotel was horrible. They unplugged the AC units in the hallways so the building was hot AND stinky - supposedly a non smoking establishment, but at the other end of the hall I couldn't even breathe because of the cigarette smell from other rooms. Upstairs hallway windows were wide open - anyone could have fallen out of them. Ice makers not working on all floors but one. Towels weren't replaced in our room after cleaning. Overall, not a happy experience even though I felt I had appropriate expectations for a low priced room.

I was very impressed when I received a text after I had checked out that a pair of sunglasses and a camera charger had been found in our room. They tagged items with room number and had it waiting for us at the desk.

We had a great stay. Everything was great from check in to check out! Would recommend to friends and family. Would stay there again!

Picked this hotel for overnight stay.They charge 2/3 of the daily rate if you want an early check in, so do more sightseeing . The room was comfortable. The location is quiet.

We loved the place. It was clean and had some extra stuff that wasn’t mentioned in the website. It has full refrigerator, stove, kitchen sink, pots and plates. It was good even if we didn’t use it. I will definitely stay here again. We were happy and pleased.
