Hotel Del Sole

We didn’t know that was 1 start, we notice when arrive! 😂 Anyway, the picture from the entrance looks good but is with a mirror on the side so on the pic seems like is big! They don’t have elevators, so we have to go with 4 luggage up stair by ourselves, they don’t have AC!!!! The carpets are horribles and old!.... mr Angelo was the best helper ever!!

The staff that checked us in were lovely and friendly. The hotel is very close to central station which was great for us. Unfortunately the room was very disappointing. The floorboards creaked so loudly that it was impossible to walk around without waking the children up. The bathroom was separate which we were expecting, but this was just one room with one toilet and one shower. No towels provided so we couldn't shower anyway.

well located near the shopping street and a few minutes walk to central station and duomo.

The hotel was a bit difficult to locate though we had google maps installed. The hotel is on the first floor and you have to carry your luggage through a spiral staircase which was really cumbersome. There was no lift, though the reception guy helped us carry one of our suitcases when checking-in. During check out there was no one to help us. No standard towels in room, only few small towels. The reception people were helpful but we had to ask for the wi-fi password, the location of the bathroom, about paying the bill and so on. We didn't feel welcome. The room was good though and clean, beds were very small.
