Riad Le Calife

We decided to make a quick stop in Fez during our visit to Morocco. After staying at this Riad - I wish we’d spent our entire trip here!! The Riad is simply incredible. It’s chic and meticulously maintained. The attention to detail is next to none. It was an oasis we never wanted to leave! We had a super early morning flight which required us to leave by 3:30a - the staff was so wonderful and so accommodating. Thank you to Alex, Yasmine, Meryeme and the entire team for making our stay perfect. We will be back!!

It was a great experience. The owners were extremely warm and always made sure we felt at home. You can feel the love the owners have for their riad in all the little decoration details. It was magic.

Riad Le Calife was incredible! We spent two weeks in Morocco- 5 riads, one desert tent and a hotel - and Riad Le Calife was by far our favourite! Everything was spot on - the ambiance is great, Yasmine and Meryeme are fabulous and soooooo helpful, the food is great and the decor is beautiful! Couldn’t recommend it more highly! I’d go back to Fes just to spend time there! A haven in the hectic city!

What a little gem in the middle of Fes! It's my first time traveling to North Africa and to a Muslim predominant country, it was definitely an eye opening experience. location - right in the heart of media and easily accessible by taxi from taxi aiport. The riad arranged airport transport at a very reasonable price, and the staff was waiting for us to help with the luggage when we arrive. room - the room is very spacious and well appointed. It was better than the pictures on line, beautifully decorated with all the intricate Moroccan details. The bathroom is large, with separate shower and toilet, and a large bathtub. Super clean and comfortable, and well stock with all the amenities (slippers, bathrobe) that one need during vacation. The riad itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated with all the antiquities the owner collected over the years. Service - the service is impeccable. The riad owners Yasmin and Alex take such excellent care of the guests and make sure you have the best time in Fes. They help you with the itinerary and restaurant recommendations, walk through the map, and paid great attention to every detail of the stay. There are only 7 rooms in the riad, so you really feel that the service is very personal. From the welcome mint tea on arrival, to the cookies in the room baked by the riad's chef, I felt very pampered by all the staff. Value - great value, breakfast included, and much more comfortable than hotels.

The warmth, welcome, assistance and service of the owners — indeed ALL staff — is over-the-top. The location — a two minute walk inside the Médina — yet utterly removed from the chaos and bustle of the crowds, offers a perfect location for both experiencing the Medina or exiting to sightsee outside. The quality of the guides the owners procured were top-rate. Breakfast was wonderful. The room was clean and spacious. My wife and I have travelled for 40 years and this is one of our all-time favorites. Look no further if you’ll be staying in Fes.

From the minute we checked in, Andalla Riad and Spa welcomed us with open arms. This Riad is absolutely beautiful, well taken care of and immaculate. The rooms are done so tastefully in a Moroccan motif and the air conditioner kept our room very comfortable, even when the temps were in the high 90’s outside. Their staff couldn’t have done more, even if we asked. They were so helpful and kind, and always had time to help with anything we needed. They gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and places to visit and shop. Breakfast on the rooftop patio was a treat every morning, and their dinners served in the evening on the rooftop are not to be missed. A special thank you to Christophe, Andre, Youniss, Abdul, Ahmet, Aziz, Abdullah and the rest of the staff. You made our stay in Marrakech so memorable and an unforgettable experience!

Such an incredible experience, you feel so welcome and comfortable from the moment you arrive. There's absolutely no reason to stay anywhere but here when you're in Fes.
