M Hotel Downtown by Millennium

My room smelled very Smoky. Had stale second smoke

good service. needs a good cleaning. mouldy showers

Not great, location is on the outskirts of downtown by a very very busy freeway! No matter how high up you are the traffic noise is very loud. I had called prior to my arrival as this was to be a special week for my husband & I, I asked to ensure everything was in place. Upon arrival the room we were allocated smelt extremely musty the vent in the bathroom wasn’t working nor was the safe or kettle! They moved us to another room which upon entering realised it was much smaller hence our request to move again, we were allocated a smoking room but by this time I’d given up and just settled. Again the kettle & safe didn’t work we called but it remained broken during our stay. We attempted breakfast one morning ONG it was a complete shambles! The chef ended up cleaning tables to enable guests to sit whilst the manager & door host just stood there! We then received a call on the Thursday to say we had to move rooms!!! I refused as my special stay had already been ruined! When we approached reception they again asked for us to move rooms, again I refused. The pool is small and extremely noisy due to road traffic. The bar was very poorly stocked. Upon departure I was asked how our stay was and I explained everything that had happened the manager on duty apologised etc
