The Dawin Bangkok

I like this hotel and it's one of my favourites in the area. Great rooftop pool, good location and quiet, clean rooms. Will definitely return!

Nice hotel just down Soi 4 off Sukhumvit. About 10 minute walk from Nana BTS. Pleasant lobby and reception. Very friendly staff. Straightforward check in although they did ask for 1000 baht deposit at the time that I wasn't aware of. No problem getting deposit back at end of stay. Decent sized bathroom although I'd prefer large shampoo / body wash bottles instead of the sachets and soap. Nice swimming pool with wonderful views of the Bangkok sky line. Good little street food vendor next to entrance. Room was a good size although felt a little plain. Wifi was OK. Not a bad place to stay.

Great hotel and service. Superior location down the quiet end of the soi. Very nice rooftop pool. Excellent AC and bed, with updated decor. Wifi strong. Nitpicks - while there is a wide variety of TV stations available for multiple cultures, it is disappointing not to have BBC, CNN, FNC, ESPN as viewing options. There is little in the way of parking if you have a vehicle (I do not drive in Bangkok).
