Bunker Hill Hotel

The room was clean. However it was small and had it not been for our balcony there really would have been no place for both of us to sit. The parking was VERY limited (as in 2 spots by the entrance) with additional parking in the street. Hotel located on a very narrow street that part of the day was bidirectional but other time bidirectional. Beds were mediocre; no microwave in the room, one was provided for gusts to share. No walking to be had near hotel (surrounded by busy narrow streets). The breakfast however was very good and the service was excellent. Laverne our server in particular stood out, very warm, welcoming and sincere. She was definitely the bright spot of our stay. I would not recommend this property to others if something better was available, but for the price, the place was acceptable.

We booked two nights at this hotel. The first was on our first night on the island. We were pretty disappointed with our room and decided to eat the cost of the last night and decided to book a room at a different location instead. The property just felt sketchy. The pools did not look clean, there was construction going on, and the neighborhood was really run down and we did not feel particularly safe walking around the property in the evening. The room itself was unclean, with stains on the ceiling, and a dirty floor. The curtains offered no privacy, the shower was dark and had very little water pressure. I would not recommend staying at this property.

My stay was really good, the breakfast food was delicious and the server she was really nice. The beds could have a little more cushion but overall my stay was really good. I will book my stay there again.

Equivalent to an old Route 66 motel that hasn’t been updated in 40 years. Ex., peeling vinyl on refridg door, bathroom door peeling and doesn’t close, furniture looks like frat house quality, no handle on outside of patio door, mattress old and worn. Restaurant was great, views and location great.

The hotel was okay. A little older and could have been cleaner. Good luck with parking. We were lucky and got one of what I think is only two parking spots for the hotel. We were only staying one night and decided not to leave because the only other parking is on the narrow streets. Lavern at the hotel restaurant was a great server. It turns out that good service at restaurants in St Thomas is rare.

Room was dirty. Floors and bathroom was filthy. My feet were black from walking on the floor. Kitchen fridge was dirty. A lot of roach droppings in the kitchen. No hot water. We had issues with WiFi. I chose this place because of the decent reviews and because it’s walking distance to town even though we had a car. Most staff was friendly but one was kind of rude. I will be returning to St Thomas, just not this hotel. It was not worth taking any pictures due to nastiness.

Dirty sheets,dirty mattresses,leaking ac,the other ac was broken,no housekeepers,only had 2 towels no wash clothes and when we left everybody was itching JUST NASTY ROOM 54 😡😡😡😡😡😡

The room was surprisingly spacious. Two huge closet spaces, nice bathroom. I thoight we were getting two beds one room but the surprise ended up being three beds with two rooms. Website did mention construction but in April. There was construction while we were there. Not too much of a bothersome. Made for a good "wake up call". Hotel is in perfect position of seeing the water from a few blocks high and the mountain tress. Beautiful during the day and night. Loved the Sugarcane restaurant. Small but cozy and the lady was very nice and food OMG delicious.
